Ohh, nice catch!
Now, I'm not usually one for Female MC leads, but this one got me hooked like a motherclucker. it's a fresh style of writing. and it's funny as hell. It's not everyday that you see writing like this. The author has a way of working *emojis* in the writing. If you like that. I guess you're already hooked in reading. If you don't? Well, I may have a few things to say, so please read on. The emojis are part of what makes the novel *unique* in a sense, its unique in that it not only helps define the scene, it also helps the reader get sucked into the story. You might even catch yourself trying to shape your face into the emoji you see, and that's a good thing! not only are you getting invested, you're even (well maybe) getting a feel of how the characters' emotion at the time. Now, if you still get put off about it, that's fine, you could just ignore it, but why would you when it makes it interesting? The writing quality is so good that it just flows naturally, the changes in scenes are pretty well planned out, you just don't get hit with something new, you get eased into it. If I had to nitpick though, I'm just a bit concerned with how often this gets updated. I do hope this gets more chapters in the future, especially with how promising and fresh the writing style is, this is something I'd definitely come back to once it gets more chapters. TLDR: READ IT! ITS GOOD. Emojis are good. and Good job author!
Pretty nice intro, got hooked on it in a beat. I do wonder about a few terms, although it can be explained pretty easily by just reading through the chapters and more, it would have been nice to be given a heads up. (like drippers, being called havertons) the story is pretty solid, leaves readers with a desire to keep on reading, the setting and the plot is interesting too, i'd love to come back to this once it racks up on chapters. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a bit of a throwback to the gangsters and detectives scene. no system, not sure if that's a plus for everyone, but it's something that can be appreciated since the author pulls off the story telling quite well. I'd love to come back to this once it hits 100 chapters. I'm a binge reader so 30-40s is kind of a small amount, but that's just me. cheers mate!
props to him, still up and talking back at this point.
of course she does lol
Hmmmm. 3 chapters isn't enough to get a full view on the novel, though i'd like to say that I'm already liking what I see, The words just fly by you as you get into reading it, and you get a few funny scenes on the way, I'm not one for romance novels but I'm all for it for funny ones, The writing is great, there isn't much left to be desired with how the sentences and scenes have been set. the dialogue flows naturally from each character. you get familiarized pretty quick with how each character react, because as soon as you meet them you get a glimpse of their personality, and with the following scenes further accentuating them the reader will get a pretty good grasp of their character. It's an easy novel to read, you'd get funny scenes on the way, which I'm sure you'll find hilarious as well. and with how good the writing is, I'd say this is a must read if you like romance and comedy novels. Great job Author!
