Think of it like that: each successful formation is worth 2 spirit stones but the materials for the next time have to be bought for ten spirit stones so 2×8-10=6 spirit stones. The novel explained it a bit differently: each sheet and ink for a formation was a deposit of one spirit stone (with a minimum of ten to start) and the deposit is reimbursed with a bonus of one spirit stone for each success but the deposit isn't reimbursed neither is there a bonus for each failure leading to a loss of two spirit stones compared to the potential profit of 20. The maths is slightly obscured here because he should be paid 16 stones but since he wants to continue drawing he doesn't get back his 10 stones deposit and simply takes new sheets and ink instead. Clear? 😅👍
She realized that the original source is a "hidden master" and want to cultivate a good relationship with him or at least avoid any offence.
It's said that the money was from Yuan's bodyguards.
For once it's correct here : it's Chen that is reminiscing not Qingwan.
Meh
He just planted it immediately after coming back to get its information (he has to plant an herb to get the benefits from his system).
He was paid a 20,000 bounty for the murderous fugitive he helped arrest as his second intervention in police related matters. As such 25,000 is 1.25 times what he was paid back then. There may be some other implications from the words choices here but that's the apparent reference.
That's probably Celsius so something like 90°F. A few seconds may be exaggerated but that's not an healthy temperature 🤒
It never explicitly said that he was THE Death of our universe or even our Earth. In fact he said he was _a_ death spirit soul which sounds more like a lowly reaper💀 among many other. That would also dovetails better with his relative weakness to Rean's soul, soul treasure or not, and his lack of knowledge and control over the reincarnation mechanisms.
She probably control assets way beyond that but can't produce that much liquidity with such ease and unconcern! 💸😑
He isn't though? He's only trying to get her married to a class 2 family that have a relationship to a class 3 family… He's being crassly realistic! 😔👎
The mask turned into a worm (it's tool transformation like Genius) not the man. And the man has a "charm" that looks like a crow on his face, in other words a tattoo on his visage.
There was also the butterfly. Since they don't know that the bee is contracted to Red Thorn and they're not sure if Red Thorn is source type (besides they can't know that its contract method is not dependent on spiritual energy), their conclusion is reasonable. Not to mention that usually even if there's no limitation due to spiritual energy, each additional Fey is a drain on one's resources, Lin Yuan is exceptional because he doesn't need much resources to evolve his Fey and besides his Master provides unlimited ingredients (even if he's unwilling to be a leech).
No, it was described as the only way to have two exclusive skills but that it was practically legendary (at least to "normal" people like him).
In at least some versions of the Arthurian legends, Mordred is the betrayer, and of course that means he's the villain in many modern pieces of fiction.
Not really a translation error, for once: traditionally in China, an Empress is enshrined as the Mother of the nation. She must be a motherly feminine figure that support her husband the Emperor and is kind and indulgent to balance the sternness and sometimes cruelty of the tyrant.
A hyperbola is a certain type of curve, for instance the inverse function (x -> 1/x) representative curve is an hyperbola. Here the building is a hyperboloid, a solid you get by rotating the hyperbola around an axis to form a surface.Only problem is there are different types of hyperboloid and depending which you use and where you cut them (an hyperboloid is infinite), you'll get a variety of shapes. For instance cooling towers (especially famous in nuclear reactors) are truncated hyperboloids. I can imagine at least two kinds that could be likened to pyramids, one with an open top but much wider underneath than cooling towers and the other with a rounded top (one sheet of a two-sheets hyperboloid).
"Energy" is an abstraction, a quantity used by Physics to unify the description of miscellaneous phenomena. You can store "energy" in a mechanical, chemical or potential form and transfer it as mechanical forces, electricity, electromagnetic waves and so on. You generally can convert between different forms but you always lose a part of the source energy, often as heat. There is no such thing as "pure energy", here Zephyx seems to be a particularly efficient way of storing energy for later conversion.
It's his potential as evaluated during the trial, all special grade guests start at D rank regardless.
