Slogged through this one. Genuinely some of the dumbest writing and worst pacing

It turns into this? That is sad af. Why would the author make this worldly and humble MC that talks about how much of a shame it is that other People are not helping putThe struggles of the destitute, just to turn him into some ruthless secretive hypocrite.

Pretty decent story if you don’t mojd Gary Stu narratives. 50 chapters in and it seems like the MC is playing a singleplayer game, having him completely seperated from grouping due to his own fear of betryal is bad enough, But limiting him from Starting/being a part of a Guild is Just as strange. I think that the ultimate drawback for this novel is the choice of not expanding on the state that the MC was in prior to traveling back in time. As a neutral reader I couldn’t care less about his struggles if I know nothing about it. Also making him the Son of an Angel and then having him avoid the church like the plague is really wierd. Intially it would seem that he doesnt need to have a guild because he essentially is a high ranking member of the church by birthright. I am already assuming that the church is going to clichely turn out evil. I did think it might twist the plot in a way that shows him succeed in the game extraordinarily, while having him still have to live through the crumbling of his family regardless of their wealth. But it doesn’t seem like that anyways :/

Why are we in a new arc? The last one didn’t even finish. literally felt like we hit the midpoint.

Yeah but the idea is to steal the treasure while the dragon is still alive, and if the dragon dies then the treasure poofs out of existence. Doesnt make a whole lot of sense, but that is what i could gather

Idk,I played WoW classic and in Stranglethorn Vale it was often like this. Kill on site, pull more people from your guild into the conflict until you have a half dozen people there fighting, then you and your friends trash their guild in the server discord and they do it too. Now both guilds have beef and start fights on site. Sithilius was wild when AQ40 was dropping and entire guilds were going to war. Honestly No-Lifeing classic wow on release was the best gaming experience i have ever had.

Honestly, with a title like “Cosmic Professional Gladiator” It is reasonable to assume that the story will revolve around being a gladiator against these other races in space then. Which implies a certain amount of tournament style battles. Maybe you have seen something i have not, but I think my assumption is a fair one.

Honestly from the first 20 chapters it is impossible to know what is going on. Confusion between character traits between the transmigrated MC and the person he replaced. Not to mention its another dumb harem where none of this is reflective of intelligent character design. Also translation quality is only better than English as a second language authors.

Idk it could be a really skinny 3 story house in the city. like those crazy apartments in NYC

Honestly, between the inaacuracies in the way certain weapons are used in real life and the book, along with IET pretty boring tournament arc history, this book really is not that engaging. For example, everything so far and implied for the future by the title is going to be combat tournament arcs. No offense but tournament arcs are usually the worst part of any light novel. Authors seem to stick to the formula and i cannot imagine why an author like IET would limit themselves to a story like that, especially when they describe thw characters using weapons in ways that the weapons are not used. The best example is the Halberd scene where IET describes the warrior stabbing with the point and swinging with the bladed end. This is not how Halberds are used. Its like saying someone shooting a handgun is supposed to hold it sideways like a gangster its inproper and inaccurate. Halberds are held with two hands and the staff end is used to parry and prod until an opening is made where the combatant can bring the axe/hammer end down. Put it quite simply the book doesn’t seem all that intresting 42 chapters in so im dropping This is a 2 and a 1/2 star book but I have to give two 5 stars for update stability and translation quality so tale the score as you will.
