NoBookNoLife3dCommentedusually (in game lore of other games), when these needs are fulfilled while citizens are not required to have a job, quite a few people would jump at the chance to live life as they please without working. That's how in games like stellaris, an empire turns into a fallen empire. Or like from 40k warhammer, the eldar who had basically inherited the universe slowly descended into a hedonistic culture bcz they didn't need to do anything to maintain their livelihood. well, that and these empires were unchallenged for a long time before their ppl began their descent, so I guess it won't be a big deal unless the story progresses beyond the milky way galaxy or sum such.

I think the theme here was, he save ppl in his first run b4 they could endure any sort of pain or torture, thus leading to ungrateful ppl who don't know how good they had it. Now, he is saving ppl who legitimately were in the process of enduring pain and torture, thus after saving them, they will know based on what they experienced that indeed, the mc is the good guy here. In other words, first girls were new hires with no experience, this girl had 20 yrs exp at the age of 8.
