Yeah, even in the states; Nevada has an age of consent of 16... However even in other states where age of consent is 18, it's totally normal for highschool girls to date college guys... or at least in where I studied it was. So yeah I agree with Drakeayr, if the age difference isn't too large it shouldn't be an issue. However If you go with other countries' age of consent like Japan 13, Philippines is 12... and the lowest being Yemen with 9 yr olds... it can really make one uncomfortable but I guess it just depends on culture, for those living there it's probably normal... Fun little fact, to people from Bahrain the rest of the world are probably considered deviants since their age of consent is 21 š
