147 Chapters - Really interesting story where the main character becomes a Cultivator and Mage. He can move between both worlds and takes advantage of the magic world to cultivate as the cultivation world is nearing its end with barely any Qi in the atmosphere due to cultivators. I like the fact that the protagonist is both a cultivator and mage and how cultivating aides his magic abilities. What I don't like is the fact that the author went the route of Eastern Cultivation superior to Western Cultivation. However, it's not full on nationalism or anything as he also states the the cultivation world is behind the magic world in tech as the mages can invade other planes whereas the cultivators are stuck on a dying world.
They didn't actually do it for oil... They did it to create an ally in the middle east but it failed... Though whether you consider it an ally or a vassal state is up to you.
The difference is that American movies specifically make out the Chinese Triad to be bad not the entire nation of Chinese or Russians. That is what people truly dislike!
The rating of 57 was made up because the number didn't show
ahhh... iPhone??? let me guess his from China in his previous life???? wth is going on?? it said that he was Alvin from the future... Now he is from another world?
To me, it seems like that is the mystery of the novel... I actually doubt the human federation actually created this world... I genuinely think they are only tapping into another world through that crystal they found... There is no other explanation of why cultivation techniques work in both worlds. What irritates me is that there is no explanation for the mc starting off with an Antecedent grade technique right off the bat for no reason.
More like people, not religion... Religion can be good but it's people that distort it's values.
Kek, My communist brothers destroyed this accumulation!
