It's extremely cliche but I like it. It feels like a higher quality martigal god asura kind of story. It sounds bad but if you just want to take a break from more complicated read and just spend time reading a simple story it does the trick. I think it's the only overly clichee novel I managed to read past 100 chapter or something thse lasts years and I had a great time doing it.
Most people read A will eternal then move on to this one, and it's copy paste so much that it's hard to not get bored especially when you remember a will eternal too much. And that's a sad thing because I LOVE SO MUCH the setting, the vibe and the political thing is really funny. The only real problem of a world worth protecting is the author previous work which has too much similarities. I still love it, I just wished I could enjoy it even more.
