First off the people rating this 5 stars are those fanboys who just rate anything they like as 5 stars, this story has serious issues. (read to ch 230) The world and everything in it are actually quite interesting and the characters aren't terribly written as well, that's why the story got popular if you ask me. The big issues with it are the severe lack of plausibility in almost all the world-building or power systems in the world, and I'm talking about the fact that the author blatantly contradicts or just doesn't know or thinks deeper about how any of the abilities, power systems or how the world would work with all these things in it. I've counted over a dozen MAJOR contradictions in not only the power systems and how they should work in fights and the world but also from exposition that is blatantly ignored or changed later on to fit the plot for no apparent reason than the author had to have forgotten what they wrote 50 chapters ago or the character needed to be weakened or buffed for some plot reason. I wouldn't have even read as much as I had if I hadn't seen that the writing was clearly improving in the first 100 chapters. Sadly the lack of thought or attention to keeping to the rules they made for the world breaks the flow of the story too much to really appreciate or take it seriously. If you can look past that and just like the action then this is for you

The first 100 chapters or so are really good, with interesting characters and world design. The plot holes and unrealistic actions of those in this cultivation world gets progressively worse though, the author clearly understands how a cultivator world should be and tries to change it to make everything feel more modern both in the culture and the way everyone reacts. This doesn't work very well, it instead makes the world and the people in it feel shallow and dragged along by random desicion making. The plot and idea behind it is really good though and I was really interested in how it would go throughout the "Tutorial" he was in. But alot of the systems and feature are disregarded or make no sense and destroy the story. My biggest gripes were the loyalty system and how he supposedly rewrites the " yin slaves" memories but that left their personalities cause otherwise they would be boring. WHICH the author correctly writes them as just that, slaves with no control but some personality. Later though the author has some character's completely disregard their loyalty stat and the fact they are yin slaves who aren't supposed to be able to betray or harm their master unless ordered to in extremely obnoxious and plot hole inducing stupity that adds drama and moves the story along by disregarding everything mentioned before in the story. All in all, the author somehow took a good story and characters up to the 70~chapter mark and then started adding plot holes, contradicting himself and making shallow characters that make random decisions that anyone can tell are forced into the story to make the story move in a different direction.

You know what makes sense, a loyalty stat that goes beyond 100% into the thousands, and to top it off YOUR MENTALLY CONTROLLED SLAVE can ignore you commands even with over 100% loyalty.
