The modern shampoo originated in the 19th century but even a basic google search points to a more primitive shampoo being around since at least the 16th century. It would appear that in the 19th century shampoo started to be massed produced with ingredients like soap, borax, and baking soda which strips oils like what we use now. Old shampoos are mostly oil, herbs, and (I didn’t know this one) clay, it’s also gentler on your hair.

Idk what is with east asians and americanos, I work at a starbucks here in hawaii so plenty of us with asian blood, but it feels like the tourists especially will come inand always order an americano or matcha latte, next would be the refreshers. The european tourists tend to order cappacinos. I can’t reallu tell if someone is from the mainland though so idk what american tourists tend to order but probably the same as the rest of the people who live here, mostly frappucinos, iced lattes, and cold brew.
