I'v read hundreds and maybe even over a thousand novels at this point ranging from everything like Against the Gods to even garbage novels full of just face slapping like the novel Old Ancestor: Thrown out by the nanny at the start and this is the first time I've actually disliked a novel so much that I had to comment. The beginning of the novel was pretty good and had great potential, but then after a few chapters it's as if the author decided to give the story and a basic outline to a 10 year old who just finished watching (not reading) one piece and told him to finish it. The mc is maybe the only character besides the female bestfriend (only bc she barely has an appearance and her actions I could somewhat believe) that is somewhat decent and that's just because there are so much more garbage characters in this story in comparison. Every other character basically seems completely forced and it basically seems like the author decided to just make the iq of everyone but the mc at around a second grader with huge complexes and silkpants behavior. Even the "empress" that is in the title is just complete nonsense with her being not only reincarnated, but also seeing the future? Like what. The first few chapters is like a standard novel where she appears cold and it seems like there is going to be great character development where she falls in love with him and stuff but no the author just forces her on him and makes the mc look like a complete tool that has the body of a highschooler but stuck with the mind of an extremely greedy elementary kid with absolutely no morals. The kind of kid who if kidnapped, would help his kidnappers count the money and prepare his own murder just bc they gave him a lollipop. A lot more can be said but I'm not trying to give an essay.
