I quite like the fact that MC's life is bland. Its a breath of fresh air from other novels in which MCs try to keep a low profile, only to get forced into a situation where they have to reveal their cultivation in front of thousands of people and get praised for being such a genius by the peanut gallery. I've read the raws upto chapter 1170 and quite like the slow-burn romance going on with FMC. Though its pretty much confirmed nothing will happen till he reaches her cultivation level, it'll be really great when it finally happens since she's been mostly quite stoic about it till now.

If you're waiting for them to do it again, you'll be waiting a long time. This can be a slight spoiler, but I've read the raws upto around chapter 1100 and they still haven't done it. It will only happen again when MC reaches/surpasses her cultivation and she's super OP (although she's injured). There's quite a few sexy scenes with her in between though. Its basically a slow-burn romance and it'll be great to see what happens when he reaches her level since she's been quite stoic about it all till now.

I can see you haven't read it and dropped it after like 40 chapters which is fine but if you're gonna give a long-running novel such a bad review, you should atleast have read a third of it or around 300 chapters atleast. As for your critical review, it's all mostly incorrect. The demoness (FMC) is actually very good to MC and can almost be considered his master instead. The system here is pretty useless actually and only helps MC increase his cultivation quickly. Everything else like skills, artifacts and such are all mostly given to him by FMC. As for the one time they did it at the start, the FMC had no choice since she was betrayed and poisoned and MC was helpless as well since he was at rank 1 and she was basically at rank 11, albeit an injured one. MC couldn't do anything to her besides him being a living d**do for her and anyone else in her place would have killed the MC after that instead. Why would MC hate her for it when she's basically the most beautiful girl in the world and basically fell into his lap? After that incident at the beginning, she maintains her composure and acts like a real high level cultivator and like MC's master. It's quite fun to see their slow-burn romance when they go out of the sect together on 'dates' and she slams him into a wall whenever he even thinks inappropriately towards her. The side-characters are also well-developed and there are sometimes even entire chapters where MC doesn't appear and its just the other characters talking which also shows great world-building.Lastly, there's a reason why its the most popular and most read if you go to any MTL site. While I don't think its the best novel I've read, its certainly a solid 8.5/10 and doesn't deserve a bad review from someone who's burnt out on the genre.
