so maybe i overread it but why? I mean seriously why should nobody become a nine leaf cultivator. I know the guy said it will lead to a disaster, but lets be real from the stuff he pulled he is probably a nine leaf or above cultivator and no disaster happened. If there is a prison or a seal over the land which gets triggered by nine leaf cultivators or aboce the mysterious elite should have triggered it so i do find this whole behaviour of the royal family kinda dumb. Except if they want to kill Lou Zhou to prevent him from doing a coup, but no the reason is there cant be a nine lead cultivator. its also highly exploitable, imagine people letting their summons killed for monoey or somebody spawncamping them either they summon their monster to get it killed or dont do it and cant get any points

There should be a rule that if you already had 1 fight that day you can decline all challenges without penaltys to prevent people on ganging up on people who are weakened after a fight

could it bee that the nine leaf stage needs oneself to take all their essence blood, primal qi, lifeforce and break through it that way and cause this would essentially.means dying nobody trys it but the ninth leaf would prolong your life after your breakthrough so you would be fine if you manage to make it
