I like reading, and dabble with writing. I am missing the drive to follow through with a story though, so I don't want to post my library of story beginnings, and have everyone rage on me.

Density increase strength boost?
I predict battle mode size increases.
I think the cover art reflects the story instead of having a female art click bait cover.
Spoken like someone intending to go off and explore the world anyway.
I feel like my theory fits the rest of the stories context better. If it is a single controlling unit, it is very chaotic and dumb so it doesn't organize and focus resources well. Whereas how the war is going seems to fit with my Weak Hive Mind link that only gives them slowly increasing amounts of information and 'target visibility' based on how many flies an individual kills.
I imagine the bugs have weak Hive Mind links. The more such bugs any one person kills, the more vivid that person's image will become to the controlling mentality of the Hive Mind. Then, the more attention the Hive Mind will pay toward those with vivid images, and the more details they will learn about that person.
Sure. If you like reading vague mysticism that can be interpreted however you want instead of how the author intends it to be. Your way makes it more 'artistic.' Mine allows me to 'feel the flow' or enter into full immersion of a story the author is trying to tell more accurately or completely. To each their own.
I believe that it was past that in all major Chinese cities above 2 million 12 years ago. Now all pics of any Chinese city during COVID showed constant fog. It's not weather related fog. It's smog.
If police don't have to deal with guns that makes their jobs easier. So why does China also still have more police per capita, thus spending more on law enforcement? While they save on the back end by still using capital punishment instead of ultra-long, and expensive, jail sentences, I'm not sure there is real world data to back up your claim that it is actually cheaper. There are too many cultural differences muddying the water to make 1 to 1 comparisons. Crime is still a huge problem in places like Afghanistan where 'all real men' have guns.
I like your take better than the auto-sexism comment! I myself am both male and shy in personal contexts, but not in work contexts. Complex emotional baggage? Or just my nature? Hard for even me to tell, as emotions aren't easy for me to analyze, describe or understand.
That is exactly my complaint with many Chinese translated works. They don't include those descriptive blurbs before quotes. The ones that have them often give off translations for the emotion that should be explained by the blurb.
How is it still gay if you can actually change genders for real? Get out of your mental box and into this fictional reality already! (smirks idiotically, like a know-it-all young master)
All those pictures of him and you can't recognize him?
Giving you an opportunity to get a lift to the Sky Sect...
Yes.
I learned my lesson after doing that one thanksgiving. I've never been so full I had misplaced back pain again. That was horrible.
Really? Do you not understand that I'm only referring to the large scale of galaxies and how far each star has to travel to circle the galaxy once? I'm fully aware time dilation only happens very close to black holes. The farthest would be within one light year even for huge super-massive black holes. The neat thing I learned in this thread is that the super massive black holes end up creating a large scale rotating space around them that causes galaxies to spin like solid objects instead of individual bits of independent matter.
Usually people don't make rumors about people they didn't recently meet. Most rumors are very 'near term'. People forget about people they haven't met in a long time. Especially in worlds w/o social media to remind them who to hate. Of course, they'll have their own means to not forget who to hate. And figuring out what that would look like is one of my favorite 'thought experiments'.
By the definition I gave it is a nearly infinite spiral that from your simple straight on perspective looks like a closed loop circle. Above the Amoeba one cell split level and at the DNA level nothing gives birth to or lays eggs of an exact copy of itself. Our modern definition of races has significant genetic leeway. Ancient beasts both slowly evolved to be able to lay eggs and over many generations and experienced several significant critical environmental stimulus that caused catastrophic and major mutation events. I stand by my statement. The slightly chicken like ancient dino that layed the first chicken egg was a beast that didn't quite meet the modern definition of chicken. The first chicken was a mutation from its parent that accidentally proved successful in the environment it found itself in, so it bred to be the founder of the succeeding and hugely variable races of chickens we have today.
Causing chaos is what anarchists do for fun because they're bored, which increases all risks. Surviving chaos is what Adrenalin addicted survivalists do for fun and the satisfaction of leveling survival skills. I merely feel this character has demonstrated these two traits.
