they were only explaing the loneliness of eternity and being undying, even amidst the long time In which immortality will enevitably lead too, and as science has shown, the planets in all 9r most galaxies will either be destroyed by their gas giant, or being thrown away, so living 10 million years and being on a planet that's hostile to all life yet you yourself are unable to die amidst suffering, that is the true cruelty of immortality in which this "mother" has bestowed upon her. she may not b e alone In the End, but it doesn't change the doctors that, In Time... it Will happen, but! it will likely never get to that point in this novel, as your going for low-fantasy I asume and not High-Fantasy or something more.
