A lovely character-driven story with beautiful art. The character development is nicely spooled out, and I loved the way the main relationship builds on a foundation of empathy and friendship rather than pure romantic attraction. The contrast between the romanticized world of the arts and the gritty realities of financial hardship, family struggles, and personal loss also grounds the story and makes you feel for the characters. Would recommend for anyone in need of catharsis!
This was a good romance story, with a satisfying ending in chapter 49. The next chapter was a side story, and the last chapter started a whole new story arc with the same characters, so save your money or passes and don't bother unless they pick it up again. The first 49 chapters form a good, solid story of two performing arts students finding love through disapproving families and competing careers.
