1 ~insecure~

You were sitting and crying in the bathroom. You were still really insecure about yourself, no matter how much people told you how pretty you were. But unfortunately, you heard a knock on the door.

"Niki are you okay in there?" Great. It was Wilbur. Just what you needed. But it did kinda touch you that he was concerned.

"No I'm okay thank you!" You said in an attempt to sound happy. But of course you sounded like you were crying for an hour. Of course you had never told Wilbur that you were insecure about yourself because you thought he would look at you differently.

"Niki don't lie. Please just open the door and we can talk about it." Damn it. He got me. I slowly made my way to the door and opened it. I knew I had puffy bags and red eyes. But he looked at me with- understanding? Did he know what I felt? Did he know what it was like?

"C'mere." He said, opening his arms. God, this boy was so sweet. I wrapped myself around his waist. He placed his chin on my head, causing butterflies to erupt in my stomach. I pulled away muttering an apology. "Don't apologize Niki." He said. "You should realize your worth. You're drop-dead gorgeous and you are such an amazing person. Remember to love yourself as much as I love you"

He said with a smile. I could never stop loving this man no matter how hard I might try.

"Thank you Wilbur. I'm sorry I never told you about my issues." I replied, looking at my shoes. I looked up and he looked shocked.

"Sorry? What're you saying sorry for? You deal with these things independently, I've seen the way you handle things. Just don't forget that I'm here for you if you need it. You mean the world to me and I hate to see you upset. I'll be there for a shoulder to cry on. Or more like a chest since you're so small." He said, smiling the whole time. I laughed at the last bit. He was a dork and most of all, he was my dork. I gave him a peck on the nose.

"Thank you Wilbur. That really helped me. I'll be there for you too if you need a top of a head to cry on." We both laughed. He looked down at me.

"I love you Niki." He said simply, like a fact.

"I love you Wilbur." I replied with a smile. But I noticed mischief in his eyes. "What're you-" I yelped as he picked me up of my feet and carried me like a baby. He threw me down on our bed and laid next to me. I was lying towards him and we stared at each other for about 5 minutes. I finally started cuddling him. He has the best shape to cuddle with and I loved it. This man drives me crazy. I can't believe I got this lucky.

"Goodnight Niki, you amazing creature." Wilbur mumbled

"Goodnight Wilbur, you loving idiot." I replied looking him in the eyes. I gave him a kiss before we fell asleep.
