Chapter 2

(Cain's POV):

After the nosebleed i washed my face and decided to change into my pajamas. I turned on the heater and then changed. I placed the untouched dumplings in the refrigerator and i decided to read a book but then my phone suddenly rang.

"hello?"

- "Oh yeah hello! I just wanted to check on you and talk to you about your treatment too.."

"ummm. Dr. Zaire i need some more time to think about it."

- "just Zaire would do and take your time to think about it. But please consider taking treatment it is for your sake"

"please let me think about it i said cutting him off in the middle."

- "okay sure. Take your time and please think about it."

"thank you for understanding i will be sure to let you know."

I really did not want to take those treatments as of now. I decided to get some air and clear my mind. I went to my favorite restaurant which was a 20 minute walk from my place. It was not a huge place just a small one with very few tables and the owners were very close to me. I came to this place every weekend since highschool and loved the food here especially the sweet and spicy pork ribs with noodles.

When i entered i was greeted by the lady owner.

- Oh my oh my, when was the last time that i saw you here? Its been so long! why did you not come here? Did you not miss us? did you not miss the food from here? Look at you! you've become so skinny!! Are you eating well?

She shot so many questions at a time that i was only able to respond with a chuckle.

- Ahh dear! why are you asking so many questions as soon as he came? Give him some food and then ask him one by one!

Her husband rescued me from her endless questioning session. They both were a married couple and they ran this place together.

They knew what i was going to order and before i even spoke they already placed a huge bowl of noodles with sweet and sour spicy pork ribs. I could only respond with a chuckle after seeing the size of the bowl. They had actually decided to stuff me and make sure that i was able to put on some weight immedietly after the meal.

I sat in one of the tables all alone. Both of them (the owners) continued with their work.

As i started eating i was reminded of my past once again.
