Buffet & Survivors

The mall arc, in every zombie series I've read the mall, is either going to be a base inhabited by survivors. Some say it'll be a place filled with comedic relief to slowly calm every single nerve of the predestined survivors. A grand shopping spree for anyone to stock up on supplies, what about me? Do I look like give a shit? If I were alive an absolute yes, I'm already dead I don't need some supplies but who said I don't want a gaming console

"Whoa!!! Don't rush I almost lost my grip," Rick was surprised to see how far Leo could leap from the ground. Seeing as theirs a ton of corpses that are slowly being drawn by the light, the two of them make haste

Leo's superhuman strength made it possible for the two of them to enter the mall when he chose to break a glass wall. There wasn't any kind of barricade that blocks the entrance of the mall and there were lights to entice anyone from afar. Either this place was left in this state or a bunch of survivors is enacting a night-time robbery

"Here I got a dozen of them inside our duffle bag...? What you've never seen a gun before?" Rick handed him a Glock and a few sets of ammunition which Leo humbly rejects without any form of hesitation

"Thats basically a triple edge sword, not only does it needs some ammo, it's loud as hell. Apart from zombies in the movies, the ones we have are too sensitive to any form of sound. Powerful as it may be I don't want to die so earlier if I choose the wrong opti~" His voice immediately toppled by Rick's chuckle as soon as he interpreted his words

"Kehahahahaha!! Triple edge sword? Who the hell would make such a shitty idea like that? But in all seriousness, I kind of understand what your trying to say I almost got killed by an elderly zombie. She was maybe about 60 years old and her hearing was so incredible she wasn't even wearing her hearing aids," The two of them continued with their first choice which was the supermarket where Rick was storing some of their rations

'I think Rick knows about the pressure just by staying any longer on the mall... Seriously whoever came up with the idea to light up the mall was pretty darn stupid. It's like they're trying to make this joint into an all-you-can-eat human buffet. That light is equivalent to a large sign used to advertise some fast food restaurant I want to turn it off but... It might affect every single light in the mall, but as much as possible I want to keep Rick alive and well,'

Leo who's mastered some of the art of self-control in his zombified state was facing his greatest hurdle of all. He finally found his living corpse of a body hungry as soon as he left the side of his teammate and ventured to another side of the market. He was about to pull out a single orb so he could easily alleviate his cannibalistic desires however he was given another choice

'Hmmm Aghhh!!! What a beautiful scent,'

His supernatural sense of smell acted as soon as he tries to consume a single orb from his pocket. The scent was then followed by a loud thud which wouldn't be heard if he was just a normal person minding his own business. The lovely scent he was so drawn to seek was the smell of blood and soon as he tries to reach Rick's location to regroup, the scent followed his move. It wasn't a coincidence, his nose then picks up a few scents that originated from a few other people

'One of them is injured, most of their numbers are about ten or more if my nose can't pick every single one of their men. It doesn't seem like they're here to have a chat, I can even hear their whispers like they're close to my ears. How about we hear your thoughts before I make my move, I don't want to do anything rash,'

Leo tried to play with their expectations and acted as a normal survivor gathering a bunch of rations. However, In reality, he purposely tries to walk toward their spot so he could hear all about their little chat. He can feel his body uncontrollably shakes when he gets further stimulated by the smell of some delicious blood

"What a gullible idiot, Hehehehe, he's heading right into our spot. He looks pretty skinny compared to the rest, he mostly survived by relying on that person. What the heck is this!!? His quivering in fear? How hopeless can this person be? That settles it, the generators are about to lose their power, sooner or later we'll have to do it as well right? We need to eat one of our allies if we want to survive," The man casually talked about his intention of murdering Leo and laughing whilst he closes the distance between the three of them

"It kinda makes sense since that person he accompanied possesses the guns, he's nothing but a wimp. However, the kid who's handling their guns seems to be more useful, let's spare that one and gather the rest to kill~ aghh aghh!!!" When the person turned his head toward his companions he sees nothing but a headless corpse

The man cries out and fell to the ground right after he was shocked to see the death of his ally without a sound to be heard. His teammates that heard of his cries made their way into his assigned location along with his beheaded partner. When he stood back on his own to feet, he notices a crunching noise followed by a figure that slowly became clearer from the dark

"Who are you!!? Show yourself immediately if not I'll shoot you where you stand!!!" The man's tone worsens as he hears the crunching noise made by the figure. He was paranoid that it was the missing head of his ally and soon after his worst assumption came to be true. A boy in his teens was eating the brains of a broken head that belonged to his partner

What shocked the man the most was the fact that his eyes were glowing red. His teeth have the strength to bite off his partner's skull. A similar groan came to be heard in his ear was similar to the undead

"Arrh!!! My arm!!! What happened to my arm!!?" His screams were worsening Leo's mood even though his body was being satisfied by the brains of the man's partner. The man realizes what he currently faces was but a powerful undead that possesses the power to control the tentacles sticking from his back. But what shocked this man the most was the fact that his clothes seems to resemble the person. He couldn't have mistaken it for someone else

The undead wore the exact uniform worn by a soldier, the same clothing as the person who they were observing not long before the incident had occurred. By the time he stopped his bleeding, the tentacle wielded by the undead fetches the remaining corpse of his comrade. It stares right back at him and soon after it spoke the language that he most commonly used

"Sorry if I came out as rude, I was told that I shouldn't speak when im eating, now don't get me wrong you guys started it. I thought I'd let you live if you have any good intentions, but sadly you guys are taking the easiest path to success. Cannibalism, you guys make me sick and that's coming from a literal zombie over here, you should be ashamed. But im, not any better than you, I just want to make you learn your lesson before I eat you," Leo blocks the bullet with the use of his tentacles which were more durable than anything he ever found

A second had passed and his group saw one of their own having lost their arm and the other who was beheaded. They fired their bullets but what came after was only their undoing, his tentacles proved themselves to be valuable once again. It was applicable to any kind of situation Leo has ever faced, be it mobility, weaponry, or even a way to protect himself. These tentacles have too many uses and he was glad that he didn't throw this beauty away from his grasp

"You guys aren't going to be of any use to me or my ally. But your guns can be worth something, don't worry I'll give every one of you a swift and painless death. I'll promise that I'll use them to their fullest extent, though im not the type of person that uses a gun," When he had enough of blocking their barrage of ammunition, Leo ordered one of his tentacles to attack

The sheer force and sharpness of its tip were enough to easily cut off the thick walls of the mall and soon the head of his foe. The only one left was the partner of the one who spoke about their plans to hunt him down and eat him so they could preserve their food. He grabs the man by his hair and slowly plucked every single hair until he was bald as a newborn baby

"P-please spare me... I won't ever come across you ever again I promise!! Please I'll tell you where the others are just let go of me~ Arghhh!!!!!" From his teammates, we're lucky enough to have a swift end to their miserable lives. The man that agreed with his partner's plans to commit cannibalism that he overheard was met with the same fate as his friend

However, instead of his head getting severed, he can feel every bite that came from Leo when he tears off his skull. Before that, he ate the flesh that was perfectly plucked off their hair and he goes to enter and it the main course. He drives his teeth and slowly he tears off the skull and reaches the person's brain later on he died by the time his brain was consumed. Full and completely energized by a ton of flesh that he consumed a few corpses remain to be untouched

'It's a good thing that my tentacles can increase their power and mutation by eating corpses. With this, there's no way I'll waste a single piece of meat, I was told to finish my plate so this counts the same as that. That guy mentioned that there were others, there must be a group of survivors inside a certain area of the mall. I need to regroup with Rick and share this valuable information, but first I need to get some wet wipes. I didn't realize that I was a messy eater,'
