31 Thunderstruck
(A/n: Almost this whole chapter would be in a the attackers PoVs)
"Captain, Watch ou!"
A giant wolf jumped on their helicopter but they evaded it on time, making the wolf still crashed on the other one.
"HOLY SHIT, it's a damn wolf! Pull up Pull up!!"
The four remaining helicopters pulled up high in the sky where Gabriel and his Falcon went and dived from the sky into one of them, making it explode midair.
"Captain!! We need to retreat!"
The captain groaned "No!! We keep at it. Chopper #3 and 2 shoot the bird down and those damn wolves too!" commanded the captain.
"We don't have visuals, captain!" Yelled the gunners.
"We have to go lower" said one of the gunners
"We can't, if we do than we'll be brought down by wolves" said Kane, the only sane soldier in the captain's helicopter.
"If we want to see past tonight then we have to kill these beasts" said the captain, with emotion in his voice "Kill'em boys"
"Aye!"
Two of the choppers lowered more and were able to see the wolves running under them.
"I see five of them wolves, I have visual on one!" the gunner started firing at the wolves who went splitted into different ways going on their blind spots.
*Howl*
The alpha howled and the other four wolves jumped at the two choppers at the same time.
"Aaaaghh" The gunners yelled shooting at the wolves, but it was for naught, while the wolves were injured, they still managed to bring down the two choppers leaving the only the captain.
The two helicopters crashed and exploded making everybody in it died.
"Shit shit shit!" cursed the captain banging on the sides.
"Cap. We need to retreat" said one of the soldiers riding with them.
'11 soldiers dead just like that' thought the captain gritting his teeth.
"Let's go back" he sighed.
The pilot turned around ready to go back but suddenly their helicopter shook violently.
"Cap, I have no control of the chopper, something is happening to the rotor, it's not working" said the pulot alarmed.
"Then how are we in the damn air?!" asked the captain.
One of the soldiers looked up and widened his eyes "Ho-ly shit"
The captain looked up aswell and saw two big feet grabbed on their rotor blades and drove them away into a clear spot on the ground.
"Get ready, boys"
Upon contact with the ground, the soldeirs walke dout slowly aiming their guns on top of the helicopter but only heard flapping sounds.
*Growl*
*Bang bang bang*
They all shot into the dark forest but didn't hit anything.
*Flapping sounds*
The gigantic bird came down and the captain raised his hands to signal his men not to shoot, he frowned seeing the bird not attacking.
*Thud*
They heard something falling on the ground and got alerted since the sound came from behind the bird.
The captain raised his gun and aimed towards the bird, the soldiers did the same.
They widened their eyes seeing a huge guy coming from behind, his eyes cold blue staring a their very souls, all of them shivered, even the wolves hiding in the back whimpered.
The captain tried to step up but suddenly his body felt weak and fell on one knee, he was sweating.
*Deep Breaths*
"I commend you... really" said the mysterios man walking towards them carelessly but one who is captain could see the man in front of them was ready to move and kill.
"What are you?" asked the captain sweating and stand up on his two feet again.
"I thought you knew that already" said the man nonchalantly.
"Stay where you are!" yelled the captain gripping his gun.
The man stopped and smirked "Or what?"
"We'll shoot"
"I am all in for the action but you see, you have come looking for someone you shouldn't have to in the first place... tell me, was it worth it?, was your men worth this task?" asked the man still with his smirk on.
The captain shook in anger "I'll kill you" he gritted and pulled the tiggered, his soldiers did the same and shot at the man.
"Raaaaaagh" The captain screamed in a battle cry along with his men.

Gabriel was amused, he threw himself to one side and the other, running towards the soldiers in a zic zac movement, he still got shot a couple times but he made in front of them and punched one in the throat pierding through it.
"Gukk"
Gabriel moved to other fast and snapped his neck upside down.
*Crack*
Gabriel moved on to, Kane, the last soldier before the captain. Kane managed to shoot Gabriel on his chest delaying him for a second, Gabriel groaned feeling the bullet pierced his chest, he glanced at Kane and grinned.
"That stung a little"
Kane got distracted for a second and Gabriel moved faster and disappeared from Kane's view, Kane looked everywhere but couldn't find him, suddenly he felt pain in his chest, he glanced down and saw a bullet wound in it.
"Aargh" Kane fell to the ground and looked at his captain with a stunned expression.
"Sorry, kid. You were in the wa- Aaaargghhlluk" The captain looked with pity at his last man standing and apologized but soon his body was lifted off the ground, a hand going through his chest. The captain looked down and saw the hand holding his heart.
"It hurts like a bitch, doesn't it?" laughed Gabriel squeezing the heart and crushing it.
Kane looked at Gabriel with fear, he wanted to say something but couldn't due to choking on his blood, Soon he passed out.

Gabriel looked disappointed for a bit but smile when he saw a chopper in working conditions, just a few scratches here and there but it can still fly.
He sighed because he couldn't get any answeres from the leader, he glanced at the dying Kane and contemplated something.
He moved to Kane and Gabriel saw his eyes, there was reluctance, fear, regret and sadness.
It turns out, Kane had a family waiting for him back home and he would do anything to go back to them, he regreted coming on this mission when he had refused at first but now he was a bout to die and leave his wife a widow and his teenage daughter fatherless.
He closed his eyes and succumbed to his fate.

Gabriel dropped a drop of blood on Kane's mouth and Kane's heavy breathing became stable and his wounds started to heal at a mich slower pace than him but Kane was out of danger right now.
Gabriel saw Kane was in his mids 40s, brown hair and brown eyes.
"Well, you look decent, so I wouldn't mind giving you a boost, though you'll be my first human, so no hard feelings"
Kane couldn't hear anything because he was already passed out. Gabriel left him on the ground for a while and went to pick up the guns and pit them in the chopper.
He looked back and saw the alpha wolf licking Kane and about to eat him "Stop that!" simply said Gabriel making the wolf flinched and gave Kane one last lick before sitting up straight wagging her tail.
Gabriel seeing her excited expression "Fine, you can eat the other ones... but bring me these" Gabriel pointed at the guns he was picking up, the alpha growled at the rest giving orders and left to do their job.
Gabriel put Kane in the chopper and strapped him on the seat "I hope you don't fall"
Gabriel started the chopper and cheered when the engine and blades started spinning "Hehe alright!"
He went out again and looked at his Falcon "You can go back now, Lady. Thanks for your help"
The Falcon screeched and flapped her wings and left.
Soon the wolves came back and the alpha waggef ger tail in front of him "What is it?" asked Gabriel.
*Woof*
'Did she just barked?' asked Gabriel.
Gabriel sighed "Fine! but be aware, I do not know what the outcome will be so, are you sure?"
Alpha nodded and barked again, Gabriel fed the alpha a few drops of his blood again. Alpha rolled on the ground in happiness and soon left with her pack.
*Thunder*
*Boom*
Gabriel looked up only to be struck by lightning, he was sent flying.
He groaned as he stood up "Damn! what did I do to you?" scoffed Gabriel at the sky.
