The world changed in the last 20 years, wait 20 years or 50 years, I can’t remember anything, even my name. What’s happening to me?. The new hunger is very mighty, biting into the flesh of your own kind is disgusting, but it’s a must. Especially the brain, its a delicacy. I don’t know what turned us into this. Maybe a bio chemical outbreak turned us into this, I can’t figure it out. I can understand my surroundings perfectly, maybe some of them can also think, oh sorry, I forgot that we are dead, we are all dead. But how can a corpse think, the only thing we do is grrhhh at each other. My case is different, I understand my surroundings perfectly, I have the ability to think. But this new form of me controls my body, the only thing going through my head is “EAT HUMAN”. Oh Geez we are damn hungry, none of us has eaten in the last 2yrs, maybe we have eaten all humans left. Those guys over there are Stage 2 corpse, Their structure appears has skeletons, but they have improved physique, they can run faster, climb walls, but they don’t disturb us much. And there are Stage 3 corpse, I advice you to stay away from these guys, they feed on human and even us stage 1 corpse, they isolate themselves in deep places or big spacious places. Okay before you start reading the Novel, I want you to know that this is my First Novel, there might me test errors, I will always try to improve.

Crazy Dad

What caused the outbreak?, why am I reincarnated?. This is a second chance, a second chance to make things right.

"Dad is everything OK" Jamila asked.

I know she is worried because of my silence for the past 5 minutes of deep thought.

"Am okay Jamila dear" I said in a low peach voice.

"We are getting late for school dad, mom is off to work already, we are stuck with you. So you have to take us to school" Jamila said in a bit of angry voice.

"Oh okay, give me some minutes to dress up"

"But dad, you are already dressed up" Jamila said, staring at me.

Yeah, am already dressed up, I wore a suit with matching shoes, now I really look stupid to my kids. I don't know what to say, I became dumb instantly.

"Dad here is your briefcase, can we go now, before we are late for school" Tarima said handling me my briefcase.

I replied her with, "Oh yeah, let's get going", deep down I don't know what am doing, this is all strange. Wait, how can I drive a car, have been holding human bones and brains for the past 50 years not car steering.

Driving can't be that bad, I hurried outside the house, Tarima and Jamila behind me. Damn, I miss this house, it's a Mansion with more than 16 bedrooms, and 5 living rooms.

I don't have to drive, there is Sebastian, he has been with the family since a very long time, he has worked with my father before my father passed away, now here he is working for me. I remember Sebastian has a friend, an assistant, and a advisor. Sebastian is the only person I can rely on now.

"Sebastian can you please drop the kids at school, I have to work on something"

"you don't have to say please" Sebastian replied, while I hand him the key.

The car drove out, leaving me with my miserable Life. Maybe not that miserable, but my life is a total mess, been reincarnated is a second chance, a second chance to save the world from the coming danger, but were do I start.

Am still in deep thought, still on the same spot, when Sebastian arrived with the car. I don't know when he drove in.

"Mr Randy is everything okay?". Sebastian asked.

"oh yeah, am okay", I replied him sharply, Am sure he would have asked me that question for more than ten times. I know I can confide in Sebastian, but I don't know how to put it. Sebastian will be suspicious that something is not right.

"Sebastian, do you know anything about reincarnation". I finally find the right question.

"Mr Randy, the only thing have heard about reincarnation is when someone is giving a second chance by the heavens".

"Do you think being reincarnated is possible".

"I can't say, been reincarnated are only found in fantasy Novel and Movies." He replied.

I have to tell Sebastian all that happened to me, especially what I know about the coming disaster. I know I can confide in him, and he has also been a good advisor to me when my dad passed away. From what I heard from Sebastian, my dad picked him up from the streets when he was still a young boy. Although Sebastian is older than me, he still calls me "Mr Randy". I know I need to tell someone about all that happened to me and what's going to happen in the next five months, Sebastian is the only person close to me and also the only person I can confide in.

"Sebastian, would you believe me if I say, I know what's going to happen in the next 5 months". I said, studying is facial expression.

"Mr Randy, why won't I believe you, maybe you want to purchase a newhouse, or travel out of the country". Sebastian answered nonchalantly.

That's not the kind of reply I want from Sebastian, I need to rephrase my question.

"Sebastian I mean, what if I know of a coming disaster, that will wipe out almost 90% of the world population". I said this quietly.

Sebastian expression said it all, he looks amazed, maybe thinking am going crazy.
