5 Chapter 5: System Lottery

"…."

Ian felt like someone dropped a bucket of cold water on his head that made him wake up from his dreams.

He almost choked when he heard her.

He was so happy earlier but now he has become helpless. 

He was going to lie in bed for half a year….

When he was about to enter his pessimistic mode an angelic voice was heard.

As if hearing his prayer, since she delivered good news to his ears.

Since her Masta didn't reply Lily continued what she was saying.

『But masta didn't have to worry since masta can obtain it on Lottery.』

"Yes. The Lottery!" Ian exclaimed. If he can stand, then for sure he was jumping from happiness.

He almost forgot about it because of the surprise that can make him lie on his bed for half a year.

'That's right. The Ultimate Lottery System' Ian thought.

He didn't think of that like that since he thought that it can only grant him weapons, Ability, and miscellaneous stuff which is ineffective in his mind.

But since Lily said it, it means that it has the items he needed to recover fast, unlike waiting for half a year.

"Lily is really smart. So how can I open the Lottery?"

『hmm~ hmm~ hmm~ Masta didn't have to say that Lily is smart since Lily already knows it. For Masta questions, Masta just has to think 'STATUS OPEN' or you just have to make Lily do it since Lily can also access it for Masta.』

"Then can you open it for me, Lily?"

'Instead of me saying or thinking about it, having Lily do it was more than sufficient since her voice alone was buff for my ears.' Ian thought.

It's not like Ian was lazy, but having a cute voice was satisfying enough for him. Unlike his voice. It has the same effect of having your little sister waking you up in the morning with a 'good morning Oni-chan' sound.

Looking at his Status Window the first thing he thought was ' Is that all?'.

Comparing his Status Window to the Novels that he read about the System in the past as his pastime, there's nothing to compare. 

He was expecting something like HP or MP but none. He also expects to see something like his Strength being numerical but none.

All his imagination went to the trash bin. 

'Right! All the Novels that have a System in the past that I read were full bullshit since It's all the author's imagination. And mine was the Orig. Since there's no way you can measure your health through numerical numbers. Right?"

Ian presumed himself making what he thought was real since all his expectation about the system was drowned to drain.

"How many tickets do I have Lily?"

『 Masta~ has a total of 10 tickets. 

5x common, 3x normal, and 2x rare Tickets.』

"So I have 2 chances to obtain what I want since the rest was as bleak as finding a needle in the ocean. And also it depends on my luck. Without any good luck, it was akin to having no money. Which is not good." Ian mumbled himself.

"Open the Lottery for me Lily"

A voice that's so mechanical was heard.

When Ian hears the mechanical voice it makes him rejoice. Not because it was mechanical unlike Lily's cheerful and Loli voice.

But because he has proven that the Novel that he read with systems in the past was true. And he has proof of it. It makes him want to take what he said earlier when he said It's BS.

'Maybe my system was just different from what the owner owned in the novel' he thought.

Moving on from the topic. After the opening dialogue of the system, A roulette table was in front of him.

Not literally since he was lying on his bed and the roulette table was floating in front of his face.

There's nothing special about the roulette shape. It's just a normal roulette table that faces him unlike the roulette in the casino that faces upwards.

The blocks on each side were blanks. There's no number, no colors, nothing. Just like a newly made roulette that didn't have yet, it's designed.

And if you didn't include the golden rim with twin dragons facing each other with their mouths wide open as if trying to eat each other then it's just really a normal-looking roulette table.

Ian was skeptical about this roulette table. Yes, it has a mystic design but so what? Where are the prices? Is it just a blank without a price? For f**** sake. His body was on the line here!

Feeling the chaotic heart of his masta Lily become worried and ask-

『 Masta~ masta~ are you alright?』

Hearing Lily makes his chaotic heart subsided. 'Right. Since Lily said that there is a way then there is, it may be possible and the only question was how.

Inhaling deeply Ian replied "Haa~ I'm okay just a little paranoid"

『Really? really? Is it because of Lily?』

"Of course not. It's not Lily's fault at all. It's just me getting angry because of my current state"

Ian didn't blame Lily, he didn't know why but his heart was so close to her that she thought of her as a daughter even though it was their first time meeting/hearing? but his feelings tell him that it's not. 

『Masta~ didn't have to worry about it since masta has many tickets so for sure masta can get what he wants. Or Masta didn't trust Lily? 』

 "Of course I trust you. How can I not trust my cute/genius, Lily? By the way, how can I use this roulette?"

『Hehe~ I love Masta~ too. 

And for the roulette masta just have to take out the ticket from the inventory and the roulette change its color with items, miscellaneous things, Ability, and other things

with the items on each block. 

And for the slit in the middle, that's where you put the Tickets masta~. With a different ticket, colors respond to their categories' prizes.

"Then what about this roulette in front of me?" Ian asked, clearly pissed.

『 That's the Initial design that the system made masta~. 

The roulette has 6 designs with 5 colors. Each design has a mystic creature in it like the initial design that has a twin dragon that was curved on the rim of the roulette.
