The night had arrived in the forest, and a campfire was lit up to bring warmth and light through the night. Inside one of the tents, Meylee, the current personal guard for Nadine, was lying on the bed.

Standing next to her were Killian and Nadine. She was currently looking at her with a relaxed expression.

"It's a good thing the antidote I have worked without problem. That poison was one hell of a trouble," Killian said, placing his hand above Meylee's chest. "Although I want her to rest, it's crucial for her to eat now, so she could at least gain even a fraction of what the poison destroyed in her body—things that healing magic can't do. Now, it's time to wake her up."

Killian's hand lit up in green light and healed the remaining wounds on her body, bringing her to consciousness.
