Chapter 5: Irresistible Desire

The night turned deeper, and the campfires lighting up the forest started to turn off one by one. Silence was filling the place as everyone took their rest to prepare for tomorrow's journey.

Killian covered his body with a blanket while lying on the bedsheet on the grassy ground. Killian had very strong senses, and because of them, he could see the movements of every person in the campfires. So, he immediately noticed the movement of a knight stealthily coming on him. Sneaking through shadows and trees.

Killian just exhaled and shook his head—he was already too used to this situation; it had already happened so many times that he just covered his body with a blanket and waited for it to happen.

The knight squatted before Killian and forcefully removed his blanket. "Healer," the knight said with a hushed voice.

Killian was awake and acted like he was surprised to see the knight. "Do you need anything, sir knight?"

The knight put his own index finger on his lips, looking around to make sure no one noticed him. "Lower your voice," he said, looking at Killian with authority. "Follow me."

The knight crouched away. Killian just exhaled and began to follow the knight.

The knight guided Killian out of the camp and traveled through a route of massive trees, allowing them to get out without anyone noticing. While traveling, they encounter multiple knights stationed along their route as guards.

Killian noticed how the knights were looking at him with envy and jealousy in their eyes. Of course, they would. Killian was on his way to the very thing that the knights could only imagine or just dream of having.

Using that route, they reentered a different part of the camp, where the tents of the two princesses were.

The knight and Killian's journey stopped right in front of the entrance of Princess Hyuna's massive tent. There were two guards standing at the entrance, and they approached Killian.

Without saying a word, the two guards immediately searched for Killian for any kind of weapon in his possession. Upon confirming that Killian had no weapon, the two guards nodded at each other.

"Are you not afraid, town boy?" The knight asked, seemingly trying to mess with him out of spite with a blend of jealousy.

Killian's face didn't show any emotion. "Eh, I experienced much weirder scenarios than this. Believe me, women are capable of doing strange things when they are eager to get what they want," he casually replied. "The princess is actually pretty gentle."

The knight clicked his tongue. "Don't do something funny to the princess, or I will cut your pretty head out of your body myself." He tried to intimidate Killian.

"I am the victim here, you know?" Killian said with a casual tone that left the knights speechless.

The three knights walked away and positioned themselves away from the tent. On the other hand, Killian started to walk towards the entrance.

"It's a good thing that she's the one who approached me. I need something from her anyway, and getting that information would not be that hard anymore," Killian said with a subtle smile on his face.

Killian entered the tent, and what greeted him was the dimly lit room, where the only source of light was the oil lamp lying on a wooden cabinet. The floor was carpeted with expensive red and white carpet; there were massive mirrors and white beds.

Killian put his hand on his chin. "This is a well-built room for a tent that will be used in one night," he commented casually.

"You have just entered the room of one of the most desired women in the entire kingdom, and the first thing that captured your eyes is how well organized the room is." Hyuna stood from the bed, revealing herself to Killian.

Hyuna was wearing a set of almost transparent black sleeping clothes filled with frills. Her black pants and bra could be seen clearly thanks to the light. Her hair was freely dancing as she moved towards Killian. She had a sly smile on her face, which slowly became visible as he moved closer.

Hyuna stood right in front of Killian, allowing him to see what Hyuna could offer. "My apologies for the very short notice; you were so elusive that I had to make this kind of move."

Killian turned his body to completely face Hyuna, looking at her from head to toe, his eyes showing intrigue. "If it's you, your highness, I don't mind."

Hyuna put her hand on Killian's chest. "You are extremely hard to read, as if you are playing with me; at times you are inviting, but at times you seem to be pushing me away. As if you are teasing me, making me want you more to the point of me begging for you." She looked into Killian's eyes with a longing gaze. "Do you want me to beg?"

Killian smiled and slowly reached for Hyuna's ear. "I would love that, but as of now, I am already in your cage. At this very moment, I am at your mercy." His voice was alluring.

Having those words whispered to her, Hyuna's eyes showed bliss. Killian's whispering voice was so alluring that she started to become red as she heated up more and more.

Hyuna slowly walked back, heading to her bed. Her eyes locked on Killian, an alluring smile showing on her face. "Then, I would take my price for your blunder of stepping into my cage. You can't escape now."

However, Killian's next movement surprised Hyuna. He gently pushed her on the bed, held both of her hands, and positioned his knee in between her thighs. In an instant, the dominance between them exchanged—Killian stared at Hyuna with his dominating eyes, making her seem weak in comparison.

Killian slowly raised his hand and held Hyuna's jaw, guiding it to his gaze. "But the thing is, you invited a prey more dominating than you," he said with an alluring smile. "Let's enjoy this together, Princess."
