19 Underestimated

Sorry for the delay, I had some things to do, so here is the chap.

I will add the images as soon as I can. So be patient with me, please.

Honestly, I am very satisfied with how this chapter came out, but I am not so much with the next one.

There is simply too much talking to my liking but I have to add it if I want to make a progressive narrative.

Sorry for that.

Hopefully, the mc will arrive in the academy by chapter 21, and a new volume will start! Let's GO!

'A few Kilometers away from Philip's current location lies a small flat valley.'

'Hidden by the mountains around it, this valley was currently being used by a very suspicious group of Humans.'

'Well, mostly Humans.'

'They didn't even hide that they were smugglers as you could see slaves with chokers and weights walking around the place in broad daylight.'

'Some were just working, you know the thing, tiring tactics. The slave can't rebel if he doesn't have the strength to do so.'

'There were a few wooden houses and fences where all sorts of things were stashed away.'

'Supplies, slaves, animals, etc.'

'However, the important thing wasn't the surface, it was the underground.'

'By going into a protected cave on the side of the road, you would be able to find an extensive complex of tunnels and rooms.'

'And when you explored everything, you would realize that these small-time smugglers were by no means, small…'

/POV change/

'Deep in the cave tunnels where no light could reach was a man chained on the ceiling.'

'His body had small wounds, but they didn't seem to be caused by torture.'

'His body was muscular, but not overly so, nevertheless, it was clear this man had been a few days without eating as he looked skinnier than he should've been.'

'His brown beard was already a finger long and his hair past his shoulders, but his most distinctive feature was his pair of very sharp and long ears.'

'If not for the greasy beard and lack of food, this man would've been very handsome without a doubt.'

"!"

'The man suddenly opened his eyes wide.'

Something... Arg... Something is coming...

/CLACK!/

'He moved his body around, the chains making sounds as he shook his body around.'

"..."

This isn't good.

My body is incredibly weak… I can barely even lift my hand even after meditating for over two weeks trying to expel the poison.

"Just what did they use to make me like this?" He said as he grimaced

Worse, my senses and instincts are telling me that something very dangerous is coming.

Tsk! Just where did they drag us!

Unless… It's their leader... Only someone with a considerable amount of power would dare to do this.

'He looked around, realizing there were no guards on this floor, just his chains bounding him.'

'It was a large... Very large room with a small and narrow corridor leading to a set of spiral stairs that led to the floor above his.'

If I can unchain myself I should be able to escape.

But I can't do much with this body… Not without my gear.

'He shook his head.'

The Princess's safety comes first.

I often hear her cries, meaning she must be close by… One floor up or at most 3.

/CLANG! CLANK!/

'His body contorted, his muscles tightened as the chains protested...'

JUST THINKING ABOUT IT FILLS ME WITH ANGER!

'He focused his head as he tried to remember everything he could.'

It took a few minutes for them to move me this deep… They drugged me at that time but I am sure it was no more than 2 minutes.

I remember feeling cold… Very cold.

It could've been because I was and still am sick…

"But it can also be…"

That I am in a really cold area.

And I am sure it took no more than two weeks…

'A small memory of the princess speaking with him before he was taken to this place passed in his head.'

—----------

"... It has been 12 days and… A little bit over a third of the day?" Said the princess

"It's cold, really cold. I can't see the outside but I am pretty sure we are in the mountains."

"I heard snow and the soldiers talking about foxes, a common animal of the mountains."

"I also heard a guard saying we would move in one more day, to where I do not know…"

—----------

"..."

They captured us when we were making our way to the Free city, in plain…

"Human territory." He said

"..."

12 days on a wagon to a cold zone... Under a normal and constant speed...

The Never-Ending mountain range?

Why?

"?!"

'He suddenly stayed stunned as he seemed to have reached enlightenment.'

"I see…"

This damn game for the throne…

First prince, are you willing to sacrifice even your family for the prosperity you speak so much of?

'His eyes sharpened as he looked around, finally locking eyes with the ceiling.'

"That stone is weak… What an oversight." He said as he slowly climbed the chains by using his feet, mouth, and hands

You can bound me with this nullifying metal, but you just had to use such a lousy method of trapping me…

'He soon climbed to the top, where he analyzed the pins connected to the ceiling.'

I can do this…

'He breathed in and out, green smoke left his nose like two snakes…'

"HUP!"

'He went upside down and placed his two feet on the ceiling.'

/CRACK!/

/CLING!/

'One of the pins was dislodged… 7 more.'

I need to preserve strength…

/POV change/

"AHHHH!" Screamed the Elf

"... What is happening down there." Said a guard

"I don't know. But we should ignore it." Said another guard

'Currently, there were only two guards in this entire room, and they were the only ones responsible for blocking the only passage to the lowest floor of the underground base.'

'The place where a very scary monster was being kept… Even if he was weakened, they didn't want to get down there at all.'

'Their gear was composed of a full plate with a shield on the backs and a sword on their waist… Good stuff.'

"AHHHHhhhh…"

"Hey man… The screams are getting weaker." Said one of the guards in worry

"Look, it's almost time for our shift to end." Said the other guard as he pointed towards a strange object on the side

'It was a small, arm-size fountain with a small white ball on top of it.'

'The white ball had several lines, they seemed to mark the different times of the day.'

'And so it seemed since the ball was divided into 24 perfect sections.'

'One of the red lines was close to hitting a small pointer in the middle of the fountain.'

"Let's do it like this, I will go take a look, and if it doesn't seem like anything important I will leave and we will wait for the next patrol. And in case it is important, I will scream and you run to warn the people. How does that sound?" He said

"Fine by me." Said the other guard

"You owe me a drink then." He said as he went down the stairs

"WHAT?! That isn't fair! Come back here you fucking bastard." Screamed the guard in vain

'The Guard walked calmly without carrying in the least about the darkness and silence around him.'

'He stopped in front of a large cage.'

'He didn't see anything out of the ordinary until he looked at the ceiling.'

'And he immediately panicked.'

"SHIT!" Said the guard as he rushed inside

'On top of the guard was his prisoner… With the chain around his neck.'

'He was trying to commit suicide!'

'Due to the sudden circumstance, the guard forgot his original reason to be there.'

'Would someone that is trying to commit suicide this way scream?'

'Unfortunately, he would never find that out!'

/CLANK!/

'The seemingly dead prisoner sprung to life as he did a backflip and kicked the ceiling, breaking the last few pins and making his way towards the ground at high speeds.'

/BAM!/

/CRACK!/

'The Elf fell on top of the guard…'

'Without stopping, the Elf looked for the keys and unlocked his chains.'

'However, he found out he couldn't unlock his leg weights…'

'They were not bothersome to move around with, but their weight would sure impact his speed.'

'And most importantly…'

"My energy is still locked Tsk!"

If this guard had the keys to open my arm weights, then the other guard surely has the rest.

'The Elf picked the sword and immediately dashed, he knew the other guard would hear the sound and one of two things would happen:'

'Warn others, or to check on his companion…'

'And the Elf seemed to be in luck as he soon heard:'

"Beart?! What the fuck happened down there?" Asked the guard

'Hearing this, the Elf grew serious as he grasped his sword and stayed there, in the middle of the stairs with his hand on the sword sheet…'

/Step step…/

'The elf positioned himself in a stance as he waited.'

/Step step step…/

'He waited and waited…'

'The moment he saw a foot he struck!'

"3Rd SLASH! Echo!" He screamed as his sword cut diagonally

/CRACK!/

'Green aura flew from his blade as it cut the air in front of it.'

"?!"

'The Guard reflexes were quick as he moved his shield up, but the wave-cut the shield in half together with his body!'

/CLANG!/

/Splash…/

'Blood splashed as the guard's gear started to slowly fall down the stairs.'

"Huff huff…"

I even screamed there… How unsightly.

'The Elf went to the lower section of the cut body and found the keys he needed.'

/CLANG!/

'The weights fell down into the stair, the weight cracked the stone.'

"Ahhh… So much better."

However, without the antidote to this, I won't be able to recover anytime soon.

'The Elf narrowed his eyes as he picked another sword and continued on his way.'

'It was time to escape!'

/MC POV/

"Is this it?" Asked Philip as he looked at the camp below him

'He was currently at a vantage point on top of a mountain overlooking the small valley.'

'He took out a telescope from his inventory and soon enough, he saw the slaves.'

"This is the place." He said as he explored the place with his telescope

That must be a Dwarf… And that is an Elf…

Is that… A catgirl? Sheesh…

It's times like these that the fact I am in another world suddenly hits.

I know, it's weird.

'But he didn't find his target.'

The Princess must be hidden somewhere out of sight since she can't be seen by any royal agent, if they do in fact, investigate this place.

'He counted 23 guards on the outside, and 31 workers, this included the guys whipping the slaves and the wagon drivers taking a nap on the side.'

I am a bit too far away for Scholar vision to work, so I can't see their average Levels.

The Guards are mostly hidden by the armor, but I can infer they are all Humans or at least a race of similar proportions.

"What a drag."

I can't go guns blazing this time since they might use the slaves as hostages.

There are noble Elves and of other races, if any of them die here, even if by accident, this might make the plan harder.

Not to mention their Boss… Or Boss guard, whatever he is.

If they have high-value slaves, it's bound that security would be rather tight, right? Even more when they have such a nasty plan...

'Philip started to formulate a plan, this time was serious, so he wanted to take caution…'

/BOOOOM!/

'However! While he thought, one of the houses suddenly burst in flames!'

'Chaos soon formed as the guards started to fight against the Slaves.'

'It seemed the slaves were going to win by sheer numbers, but not without heavy casualties.'

'Even if some of them were strong warriors, they were tired and weak.'

"Fuck… This wasn't in the report." Said Philip as he tried to remember the contents of the book

It seems the future has either changed…

Or this was never documented to begin with. Hence, it never came into Dae's ears.

It could happen since history is not always properly documented.

"Sigh… It seems this book won't be helpful for me this time." Said Philip as he observed the chaos with his telescope

The book was made to guide me, but not to carve my path.

It's a tool to help me carve my own path, to give me a general direction of the infinite possibilities contained within this world.

It contains all vital, hidden, and skill knowledge I need to train in or be careful of.

Or at least everything Dae had time to write…

How much I can learn from this during the next five months depends solely on me.

'Philip remembered the wall of small and compact words on the book and he couldn't help but cringe.'

"But what did we do that could've caused this?" He asked

Urg… It doesn't matter.

I can't let them die yet!

'Shaking his head, he started to run in the snow as he made his way to the mountain foot!'

'Fire had already spread most of the houses and screams could be heard everywhere.'

'Some of the slaves had run to the side to watch the fight between the slave warriors and the guards.'

'A few tried to help, only to suffer the wrath of the guards' attacks.'

'Although, it didn't matter if you were rebelling or not since the guards were attacking all slaves in their path.'

/BAM!/

'Suddenly, a guard flew from a building on the side, falling in the middle of the camp, unmoving.'

'From the hole in the hole in the wall, a pair of figures appeared.'

'It was a sickly looking man with a sword in his right hand.'

'And behind him…'

"That's her I imagine…" Said Philip as he observed from behind a tree

Long dark hair and sharp ears… With a blue tiara on her head adorned with green crystals.

Purple eyes… The defining characteristic of Elven royalty.

It's not just any eye, the purple color is deeply connected to their religious beliefs.

There is also a strange symbol on her forehead… It's definitely her.

And by the actions of the Elf in front of her, it's clear.

'Philip continued to observe the fight with his telescope.'

'But he had a big issue…'

How do I approach them?

It seems as if they will win, and if I just appear to save a few of them, the impact isn't going to be as big as if I saved them at the last moment.

In fact, they might look at me badly if I appear now…

'He continued to observe, but things didn't look good. As time passed, more and more slaves were wounded and some weren't even moving anymore.'

'It was imperative that the casualties were brought to a minimum to reduce any possible tension between the Humans and other races.'

'The Elf warrior seemed to become more and more tired as he slew guard after guard… However, he was also terribly wounded as a long gash covered his chest.'

'Philip couldn't stay still anymore even if it meant reducing the overall impact of his arrival.'

/CRACK!/

'Philip jumped in the sky as he prepared to intervene…'

"Got you."

"?!"

/BAM!/

'Suddenly a shadow appeared and struck his back!'

/FWOOSH!/

/CRACK!/

'Philip was thrown away into the ground, creating a small crater below him.'

'However, he fell with his two feet on the ground…'

"..."

Fuck!

This hurt a little…

'Philip slowly got up from the ground, and when he did, he found himself standing in front of a knight.'

'He looked around him to notice all of the guards retreating and slowly converging behind the man that struck him.'

'It was a knight in brown armor, his armor was beautifully decorated with small symbols, the same ones used by elves…'

'Behind him were 5 more knights, however, they were clearly different from the other guards as they were all wearing green armor.'

He must be the true big boss with the reinforcement…

[Lv ?]

Figured…

What about the other knights?

[Lv 37]

[Lv 36]

[Lv 40]

[Lv 37]

[Lv 38]

Not that great, but considering their posture, they may be stronger than that High Orc purely by Skill.

"You have some good reflexes for a rat." Said the knight as he mocked Philip

"..."

The fuck you say to me you little bitch?

'Philip's expression couldn't be properly discerned due to the mask and hat, but his blue eyes were shining with a dangerous red light.'

What a fucking day…

'His ferocity was slowly being drawn out even without the effects of a beast Pill…'

"Heh…" Said the knight as he looked around

'His eyes stopped at the bearded Elf.'

"It seems you managed to escape Jiu-Al. I expected nothing less from a Grand Swordmaster." Said the Knight in an ironic tone

"This voice… Yer-Al?... I should've expected it to be honest. Only a bastard like you would enjoy doing all of this." Said the Elf

'The two looked at each other for a small moment. Giving some time for Philip to think.'

"..."

They are ignoring me…

But… Al?

Normal Elfs don't have second names, instead, they are given terms based on what they do for a living.

Only Nobles have second names, only when they reach adulthood do they receive a third name that signifies what they do.

If they change jobs they receive a new name.

Al is a Name given to Royal knights directly under the Emperor…

They have the very important job of protecting the Royal Family...

So this knight… Is a Royal knight?!

What the fuck is this Mid game Boss doing in the beginner village?!

So I am fucked?

'Philip couldn't help but curse Dae.'

'The knight looked away from the Elf and back to Philip.'

"I didn't expect the Humans to find out about this so soon… I guess you do have a brain inside that big head of yours." He said in a sarcastic tone

"..."

Is he racist?

"However… It's only up to that. How could those pigs send someone of your… Caliber, to die to us? Pitiful even." He said as he shrugged his shoulders

"..."

He is definitely racist.

"I know that all of the elites in the Royal garden have already left to escort 'his majesty' that fool of a king out of this damned place. So I can't help but laugh here." He said with a chuckle as he looked at Philip

But it's a problem in any case… Looks like I will have to end things here quickly before reinforcements arrive.

They can't stop us until we arrive in the official Human territory.

The Never-Ending Mountain range is neutral territory, hence, even if they died rather close to the Humans' territory, most races wouldn't immediately place the blame on Humans.

Since such events where a party was framed by another have happened numerous times already.

And if they were to investigate, they would soon find out that things are fishy…

"In any case… How about you all drop your weapons?" He said as he looked at the slaves

"I can at least promise you life, instead of a meaningless death in this cold and desolate place."

Until we arrive at the Human territory that is…

'Most of them seem conflicted. Nothing much has changed apart from the fact that they lost their surprise attack as the guards went back to formation and this new knight appeared to reinforce them.'

'After a small moment, some of them dropped their weapons and went to hide on the side.'

"Good… But is that all? It's a shame really, I didn't expect to lose so much just like this. Jiu-Al, you really caused me trouble this time." Said Yer-Al as he unsheathed his blade

This might decrease the end results… And I can't let that happen. Not after all that happened.

Although… It's still possible to make use of their dead bodies… Yeah… I can make use of that.

The most important one is the princess anyway.

'Surprisingly, the "Human-agent" in front of him was never considered at all, as if he was unimportant.'

'From his perspective, Philip was nothing but a mid agent that luckily found out about this. And why is that? That is because he believes in his reports and the fact there is no threatening existence left in the palace apart from a few specific people.'

'The other Elf continued to grasp his sword, but he was clearly exhausted. He barely opened his mouth to retort and speak.'

'The princess hid behind him, but her eyes were serene, she trusted her guard.'

'She kept herself steady at all times, even when her life was at stake… Or perhaps, she already cried all of the tears she had.'

'She looked to the side and looked at the masked agent holding the dark silver blade. '

'He was silent throughout their entire conversation… The way he stood there holding his silver sword seemed to draw her attention… It was as if something told her the situation was wrong… Somehow…'

"..."

'As the atmosphere got tenser, Philip went over everything in his head.'

Dae wouldn't send me to die, so unless the situation really went to shit, Dae would tell me if a royal knight was actually here.

There are many Royal knights, but all of them are super-soldiers trained from childhood, they have high Levels and good Classes.

They are pretty similar to the Purple knights, however, I would say they are one step above that… Or at least half a step.

This happens simply because they are Elves, being stronger and living longer, allowing for a more stable stream of soldiers.

I can't compare to them yet.

Even if my stats are very high… Or… Can I? Let me think this over.

Even if we assume that he was super talented and lucky, he would have at most, gained the Class he currently has when he was around Level 30-50.

There is a good possibility that my current stats may not lose to his!

Dae told me that warriors above Level 80 are very rare and infrequent to see in the open.

And if I take the fact that, the average Level of the Purple knights is around 45-50… He shouldn't be that much stronger.

No matter how strong he is, I need to fight if I want to survive!

'Philip's eyes sharpened, his instincts told him this enemy was strong. But that was all.'

How many times did my intuition tell me that winning was impossible?

That I didn't even have a chance at winning?

Yet, here I am! I killed and survived all of those nightmares!

LET ME SEE WHAT MAKES YOU SO CONFIDENT!

'Philip's eyes turned full crimson as his body cracked silently.'

'His knee bent as he used his left arm to unlock the chains from his sword…'

'He was going all out!'

"Let's end this Jiu-Al…" Said the Elf Knight to the other Elf

'The Knight slowly made his way to Jiu-Al…'

/CLANG!/

"ARG?!" He exclaimed

'As he made his way to Jiu-Al, his sense flared as he swung his sword to his right, blocking a strike at the last moment!'

"You have some good reflexes for a piece of trash." Said Philip as he continued to slash his sword as he moved forward, not giving the Elf a chance to breathe

/CRACK! CRACK!/

'The ground cracked as it couldn't resist the strength of their steps!'

"You think this is enough to force me?!" Screamed the Elf as he lifted his sword as blue energy was released from it

/CLANG!/

'Philip did not stop as he swung his sword at his enemy!'

/BAM!/

'The impact made the Elf knight fly backward, but he soon stabilized himself by plunging his sword into the ground as he flew.'

"WHAT?!" He said in disbelief as he lifted his head, only to see a silver sword cutting the air as it made its way towards his neck

"?!"

/CUT!/

'He rolled to the side, but it was too late as his left shoulder was cut!'

"ARG!" He exclaimed as he felt the coldness of the blade cut through his skin

"..."

'The two were now staring at each other, Philip held his bloodstained sword as he looked at the hurt Elf knight.'

"Ha… How stupid of me." Said the Knight as he looked at Philip

Looks like the Humans left a countermeasure behind… Who is he?

I can't feel any danger from him... Is he an assassin adept in stealth?

A secret agent? Or is the king just cautious?

He isn't in the reports…

"Who are you? I will warn you that interfering with Elven business will mark you as an enemy of all Elves." He said as he lifted his sword, the injury on his shoulder seemed to have stopped bleeding already

'He made sure to not mention the crown nor the royals as they were supposed, not involved in this.'

'He was trying to find out if Philip was someone associated with the crow or if he was something on the likes of a mercenary.'

"Elven business? Funny thing to say when you are trying to cause war." Said Philip as he cracked his shoulders

'And this confirmed it, Philip was likely with the Human Royal's.'

'At least from the perspective of the Elf…'

"I don't remember there being an agent like you hidden in this place."

All of the others have already left… Is he the one behind guarding this place?

/Cuckle/

"You went on and on just a minute ago, where did all of that confidence go?" Said Philip in a sarcastic tone as he looked at the Elf's defensive posture

"..."

'It was hard to see with the helmet on the Elf head, but he was very angry.'

"All of this talk, I am getting tired." Said Philip as his sword started to glow purple

"Your balls must be really big to say all of that shit to me." He said in a threatening tone as red energy started to emit from his body

"... Heh. Humans and their filthy mouths. So be it, Jiu-Al won't go anywhere." He said as he snapped his fingers

'The guards moved, encircling the slaves.'

'The five green knights surrounded the princess and her knight.'

"Planning to use them as hostages? Quite bold of you." Said Philip as his anger continued to rise

"Hostages? They were mine to begin with." Said the Elf

'Philip smiled…'

'The Elven Knight suddenly felt an invisible ripple pass through his body…'

"AHHHH!" Screamed one of the guards

"What now?!" Said the Elf as he looked behind him

/CLANG!/

'Slashing the throat of a guard was a white-gray knight with a translucent sword.'

'However, he seemed strange somehow…'

"Did he have reinforcements?" Said the Elf, annoyed

'However, behind his helmet, he furrowed his brows.'

I can't feel any life coming from that person.

What's happening?

'Many possibilities passed through his head, but he neither saw nor felt a wizard or supernatural ability user nearby.'

That strange ripple?! But where did it come from?!

'He looked around, but the only possible being was Philip…'

'And he refused to believe that…'

'As he thought, the princess guard couldn't help but tense up completely.'

"Kill them all and protect the slaves, Mental Knight..." Whispered Philip to himself

/Pov change/

THAT!

'The Princess Guard held his sword so hard that his skin started to tear.'

That is a Mental construct!

Ho-How…

'He relaxed his hands, but he completely ignored the pain and the blood.'

Oi oi… Don't tell me this guy in front of me has created this guy…

'He chuckled silently…'

If that's the case, this man is…

"Haha… So that's why my instincts were telling me to flee." Said Jiu-Al as his eyes sharpened

"What happened Jiu?" Asked the Princess as she noticed his face

'But the knight did not immediately respond.'

"Jiu?..." She asked again

"... For now… We are safe… But I do not know for how long." Said Jiu

"In case something happens, I will use 'that', flee as far as you can in the meantime. You know the way right?" Asked Jiu

'The princess nodded, her curiosity was deep, but she knew her guard was already pushing himself to even talk, so she kept silent.'

/Pov change/

"Tell me who you really are." Said the Elf

"Sure, name's Ligma." Said Philip as a bloody smile appeared on his face behind the mask

"Ligma who?" Asked the Elf

"..."

'Philip raised his head and stared straight at the knight.'

"Ligma Balls!"

/CRACK!/

'The ground cracked as Philip turned into an afterimage as he dashed using everything he had.'

"Lick the what?!" Said the Elf in anger

'But this small moment of carelessness was enough for Philip.'

/CLANG!/

'Philip's sword pierced the man's chest, but it was blocked by his armor.'

'Like a train, Philip crashed into his enemy, the two now flying across the camp at high speeds as the Knight grunted in pain.'

"HUP!" Said the Elf as he moved his own sword to parry Philip's

"BASTARD!" He said as placed his foot on the ground, creating a long trail on the earth, and slashed down, blue energy gathered on his sword

"BLUE ASMINTHUM!" He screamed as he slashed his sword, creating a 3-meter wide blue wave that cut through the earth at high speeds

"..."

'Philip didn't say anything, he just swung his sword sideways, creating a large purple disc…'

'But his sword wasn't the same as last time, it had transformed…'

'The Silver metal sword disappeared, giving space to a translucent purple sword filled with strange carvings.'

'This was the true form of the Darklight Sword!'

/BOOM!/

'The impact between the purple sword and the Blue energy created a large, 3 M crater beneath Philip.'

'But Philip himself seemed unarmed.'

"Why do you scream your techniques when you use them? Is that a thing Elves have in common?" Asked Philip

'As he asked, he grabbed his Sword and entered a stance.'

'Feeling that something was about to happen, the Elf also entered a stance.'

'It was quite strange since the two were about 5 meters away from each other…'

/CRACK!/

'Phiip turned into an afterimage as he dashed forward.'

'His body seemed to turn into smoke, becoming half translucent as he ran.'

'In truth, he didn't turn into smoke, this was just an after effect of using the Art of Quickening… Or one of its perks.'

'The Elf had difficulty predicting his next movement, but he still moved his sword to where he believed Philip would swing…'

/FWUSH!/

"?!"

'Unfortunately, he guessed wrong since Philip did not move his sword at all…'

'He was tricked!'

'Instead, he saw a massive dark object right in front of his face.'

/BOOOOOOM!/

'A massive explosion happened as the Elf was engulfed by the flames.'

"How did that taste fucker?" Said Philip as he stashed his Cannon

'Yes, a Cannon. A portable cannon.'

'It was a massive object with a square body with a long cylindrical tube…'

[Heaven's Decree

Description: A massive 'firearm' envisioned by a mad powderkeg Hunter in the early days of the Hunters.

Its blueprint was found, studied, and enhanced by a nameless Hunter that knew no bounds.

This Hunter had only one thing in mind… And that was firepower.

Not only does it require a special type of ammo that is already very heavy and hard to carry, but the Cannon itself also weighs several dozen people combined.

Rumors suggest this weapon signifies the will of God to cleanse the world in flames…

]

"..."

'Philip stared at the ravine made by the cannon, he couldn't help but be proud.'

'Because it took quite the amount of effort to make this…'

'When he saw the blueprint for this weapon, Philip took it as his duty to further boost its already exaggerated parameters by making everything he was capable of to increase the cannon firepower.'

'Regardless of weight and trivial things such as ammo.'

'And this is the result…'

"Did he turn into dust?" Asked Philip in wonder as he looked at the long ravine that was 20M long

'Looking ahead, he saw that the ravine stopped at the walls of a mountain, and there it was. The fallen body of the Elf.'

'His armor was half molten and burnt parts of his skin could be seen.'

'His sword was snapped in half with the hilt still being held by him.'

'None of his previous elegance could be seen…'

"..."

"Oh?" Said Philip as he noticed the faint movement of the Elf's finger

'And lo and behold…'

He still has a pulse…

"Did you actually block that?" Praised Philip as he looked at the knight

Hum… Perhaps I should research a bit of magic and see if I can have this enhanced…

If one is not enough…

How about two?

'Philip smiled couldn't get wider as he stared at the fallen Elf in delight.'

'Philip aimed the cannon again, he didn't care if the fight was anticlimactic, this guy had gotten to his nerves and he wanted him deleted out of his sight.'

/BOOOOOM!/

'Philip was merciless as he pressed the trigger again.'

/CRACK CRACK…/

'Rocks started to fall from the mountain as an avalanche started to form on the mountaintop.'

"This won't do." Said Philip as he looked at the incoming small avalanche

I won't rest easy if I don't see his body.

How many times did an enemy ambush me because I relaxed in moments like this?

'Philip grabbed his sword and entered a stance, this time he looked serious.'

'Exhale… Inhale…'

'Philip concentrated as purple energy gathered into his sword.'

"Breath in… And out…"

'Purple clouds started to condense around the sword, becoming a full halo orbiting it.'

"..."

It's just a shame that the energy from the sword conflicts with my combat techniques…

I guess this is why you can't imbue Arcane objects with other elements…

Not through normal means at least.

In any case…

TIME TO ROCK!

/FIUM!/

'Like the sound of a laser beam, Philip stabbed forwards in the direction of the mountain.'

'From the tip of the sword, a Purple beam of light was released, making his way towards the small mountain at an unbelievable speed!'

/BOOOOM!/

'The purple beam hit the avalanche…'

"It worked? Of course, it did." Said Philip as he looked at the mountain

'There was a large crater in the place where the avalanche was, multiple avalanches could be seen happening all around, however, he didn't care about those since they were not on his way.'

"Time to collect my loot." Said Philip as he cracked his neck and walked forward

'His fight against a Knight was on a different level compared to the High Orc, but even so, the knight did not manage to bring out everything he had.'

'He still had many tools ready in his inventory, and even more tricks…'

"It smells like burnt iron…" Said Philip as he looked at the deformed and burnt armor half-buried in the snow

'But his eyes were drawn towards a small floating white orb…'
