Zero Fate against the world

One chapter per week, but don't worry as each chapter has around 5K words if not more, meaning, it's the same as 4 standard chapters from Webnovel. Also, the first 10 or so chapters use my old writing style, grammar is fine, and I can fiz anything you point out to me, however, the punctuation I used was drastically different from what I use now, this can make some sentences and conversations rather confusing. But if you like the story, make sure to stay and you shall be rewarded with a better-written story! Join our Discord for updates and images! https://discord.gg/zpAgtPBAMK Synopsis: Philip lived his life like any university student, he went to the campus, heard his teachers, made his notes, went home, studied, and played some games with the boys at night. Until one fateful day. It was the final class of the year, and he together with all of the people present in the room, were transported to another world. In a strange and unfamiliar world, everyone received powers and abilities including him, but with a twist, he didn't receive a class. Only a skill. They weren't there to kill a demon king, nor they were there to prevent a war. Although you could say they were there to cause one... How will he do with his strange skill? And how will his "friends" act? Let's find out because I am also curious! . . . Hey! I am just here to say that I don't own the cover image, nor do I own the special abilities of the MC, you will see why. If you own any of these things and want me to take it down I will, but remember that currently, I am not receiving any money from this.

/Over half an hour later…/

'Without much trouble, Philip and Uvrik led everyone back to the Hold.'

'No enemies or anything unusual happened, it was a pretty simple return trip.'

'Philip didn't say much on the way back, paying more attention to his loot and surroundings, but everyone seemed eager to talk with him.'

'Some thanked him time and time again, others told their own stories about how they got trapped and a few told the things the Vampire had said when they were alone.'

'It seemed his reasons for doing this had to do with him being pressured by an external force… But that wasn't his proplem.'

'Oh well, it didn't matter in the end as Philip was in possession of the vampire's Diary, and he had no intentions of surrendering it to the authorities.'

'So much so that, the moment they arrived back in the Hold, he talked a bit with the guards before leaving silently for the Alchemy shop.'

'He knew he would be forced to stay there for some questioning if he gave them the opportunity.'

'It could end very quickly, or last 1-2 hours, regardless he didn't have any interest in staying, those were some precious hours he would lose and he needed all of the time he could have.'

'Of course, he considered the repercussions of this act, but the chances of anything bad happening were pretty low, at most, the Jarl would have someone go after him for questioning, but that was something for the future.'

'Everything he could say was the same as Uvrik's and the others... Unless the Jarl thought ahead and assumed he had found something on his own...'

'But as long as he has his inventory, all of the evidence would remain unfound.'

...

'On his way back, he removed his armor, it was full of blood and dirt, and despite his clothes also being bloody, they were much better and less flashy than his Steel armor.'

/Ding ding ding…/

"Welcome to… It's you, boy…"

'The old alchemist looked at Philip as he arrived in his dirty and bloodied clothes his expression turning dark by the second as he didn't see his Granddaughter.'

"It seems you're back and giving your state…"

'Philip interrupted him right there, the old man seemed to be on the verge of crying...'

"She's fine, so clear up that grumpy expression and prepare me a few empty bottles so I can go back to work, I'll pay extra if necessary."

Raising my Skills take priority over other things, and if he doesn't have any bottles... I'm not really in a condition where I can waste the potions I brew.

"Hm! Could you explain it to me?" The old man asked with a brighter expression

'Philip let out a sigh as he opened his mouth to say:'

"It's a bit long, so I'll cut to the chase and say that your Granddaughter was… Well… It's a bit personal for her, and I'm sure you should discuss it with her…"

"Out with it Boy! I don't have all day."

"... She was having an affair with a Hunter and ended up meeting some trouble when they went too far in the forest…"

/BAM!/

'In a fit of rage, the old man smacked his hand on the counter, making several potions vibrate.'

OI!… My potions!

"Was it that bastard Hashiv?! She's been taking a few glances at him recently ever since that party… And she even asked me what I thought of that Skeever of a man!"

"HUMPH! I'll never accept him!"

"... You don't seem to have a good impression of him…"

"Don't even tell me! First, his job as a Hunter is extremely unreliable, he has no skills apart from that, passing most of his time wasting away fishing!"

"Second, there are many rumors about his past relationships and my Granddaughter deserves no unfaithful man!..."

"..."

True I guess, despite divorce being open in these lands, I guess someone who had multiple past relationships isn't very well seen as a partner candidate.

In modern Earth, having many relationships is the norm as the lifestyle of the population simply got too fast, but for the more traditional and slow lifestyle of these people, people who had more than 2 lovers before 2, especially girls, are akin to prostitutes.

Not that I care, so shut up already old man…

'The old man screamed for a few more minutes before he said in a tired tone:'

"Phew… That was it for me today, I lost all of my energy…"

"..."

'He pointed at the side room, wiping the sweat from his face with a small towel as he said:'

"I've already accounted for your potions, and I must say, I'm impressed, you know quite a lot of recipes."

"I'm ready to buy most of it, but there are some I can't… I don't deal with poisons, and I would suggest you discard them as soon as you can."

'His eyes sharpened and his expression deepened.'

"People aren't very fond of alchemists that can make poison, and I'm talking from experience, whenever a problem related to that happens, people tend to point at us alchemists, it isn't a pleasant experience to go through, having to prove your innocence."

"Simple, harmless, and weak poisons are okay, and some exceptions can be made depending on who is asking, but even for those, I'll have to refuse."

"Perhaps you'll have some luck if you sell them outside of the Hold, but the current Jarl is very strict about these ever since what happened to his brother."

"... I understand, I never made any poison." Philip said in a low tone

'The old man nodded, this conversation was over.'

"If you don't mind then, allow me to first go visit my Granddaughter… Once I'm back, I'll let you use the Alchemy table."

"In the meantime, you can go take a bath and have that blood smell washed off, what do you think?"

Philip didn't think for long before replying:

"Works for me."

Honestly, I was planning on just working like this, but since the old man is planning to leave, I doubt he would leave his shop with someone he just met, regardless of what I have done.

Sigh, honestly, this was within my expectations, I'll shower quickly and get this over with.

'The old man took a large sack from beneath the counter, he was ready for this moment.'

"Here... This is the value for all of the potions and the rest of the value for those potions... I added a small bonus for doing this small favor for me."

"As I said before, the potions I didn't take are back in the room, so you can count them if you aren't satisfied, I also left the note with the exact values in case you need it."

"And lastly, if you wish, I would like to negotiate and buy a few of your recipes... Or exchange them, hohoho." He said with a small smile

{32K Septims have been added to your inventory}

{Alchemy recipe for Potion of Ultimate Healing has been added to your inventory}

"Oh? Thank you."

"Don't waste words, before I regret wasting so much money." He said in a grumpy tone as he turned around

'Philip exchanged a few more words with the old man before he left the shop, making his way to the Inn Eddy… He was staying in.'

'He soon arrived at his Inn, and immediately, he requested a bath, putting a few coins on the counter.'

'The Innkeeper was surprised by this, he knew who Philip was, but he had changed considerably since he saw him last time, from a cowardly man with a hunched back to a strong man with a straight posture, staring down at him with sharp eyes…'

'He even felt confused about his muscles, but he associated it with his stress and his previous clothes, brushing this matter off as he went to prepare a cold bath.'

'What? Hot bath? In this place?... How foolish!'

'Nords aren't pussies, they can take a cold bath in the mountains in the middle of winter…'

(Like Russians, but better)

'Philip however, wasn't having it, so he went ahead and threw a few clean rocks in the fireplace, opening the Vampire's diary to read as he waited.'

...

'And a few minutes later, the moment when the Innkeeper arrived to notify him of his bath, he stored the red hot rocks in his inventory and left...'

'The bath wasn't anything special, just a wooden tub with water, if he sat on it, the water would reach his chest and that was already a lot.'

/Sizzle…/

'Whistling peacefully, Philip opened his inventory and threw the hot rocks in the tub, and it was immediately clear that his plan had somewhat worked.'

"It works, the inventory does preserve an item's condition, even if not perfectly, it should be a pretty high percentage nonetheless."

As I've tested before, if I drop an item from my inventory, it'll pop up mid-air exactly a meter in front of me...

it may be useful one day, and it has been right now.

'Philip took out his clothes and got inside the bathtub.'

The water is decently warm, good, no cold bath for me…

"But it seems this will be all, just one very small bar of soap…"

'Grabbing the cute little bar with curiosity, he inspected it before mumbling, "Can I make something like this with alchemy?" with a frown.'

I imagine that it is indeed possible to make something akin to Soap through Alchemy, albeit, that would probably be a phenomenal waste of time.

But who knows, perhaps it would be possible to make Soap with magical properties, making it a hit with the ladies!

'Thinking about these useless things, Philip enjoyed his short bath.'

'Once he was done, he used a few buckets to clean off the blood on his armor, but in the end, this wasn't proper maintenance, just a simple clean.'

'In the future, he would leave them with a decent smith, but for now, he went to his room to grab another set of clothes before making his way to the alchemy shop.'

'On his way, he started to think deeply about what happened before...'

"Hm…"

The man that ambushed me, Luric… He was everything Eddy was afraid of.

There are 2 ways to see this problem.

The first one is the fact that Luric acted on his own and without a backer.

But that wouldn't mean I should grow complacent, people may still try to act against me.

The other one is to think someone backed him, and the only possible culprits would be the Administrator and the Guard Captain.

It could've been someone from outside, or even a collective effort from the mercenaries, but if that was to be the case, someone else would've joined him.

But no one did, and if Luric did have someone with him, he would've bragged about it the moment he captured me, instead, he talked a lot about his own individual ambition...

In any case, Luric died to the Vampire…

"I'll deal with the Caravan tomorrow since according to the diary, the schedule was to step into the road the day after tomorrow."

Until then… I'll Level up as much as I can.

I'm not tired, and my body has reached an incredible state.

I also have magic, something I should research soon.

Gather as many cards as I can, as I need to prepare for what's to come.

The plan was to move to Whiterun, passing through a few Villages and small towns on the way, sticking to the main roads in order to secure safety.

After that, Windhelm, Winterhold, Dawnstar, Morthal, Solitude, and finally Markarth, and if it wasn't obvious already, Riften is being excluded due to it being riddled with thieves, only stupid merchants would go there unless they are directly associated with the Thieves Guild.

So aside from this one, I have 4 more Holds to gather money and think of a plan for my missions…

"How rough." Philip said as he shook his head in denial

'Without much ado, he opened the doors to the shop…'

"YOU SON OF A $%#$^!!! YOU WANTED TO DO WHAT WITH HER?! SAY THAT AGAIN!!"

'But it seemed that things were already fiery inside the shop…'

'Philip decided to stay outside for now and wait for things to calm down…'

/Around 20 hours later…/

{Alchemy 51 -> 52}

{Uh... HA!}

{Level up}

"There ya go… Urg… My vision is getting blurry…" Philip said as he fell to the ground

How long have I been here, amidst these potions, mixing time and time again…

How much money did I spend? I think I remember the old man screaming something about being tired of fetching me potion bottles and buckets of water…

How many ingredients did I buy? How many of them did I eat?...

My fingers are so black that I have forgotten what they used to look like…

And this smell… How did clear air smell again?

I can barely move, my carry weight is almost maxed, full of potions...

'With a single tear falling from the corner of his eyes, Philip opened his System Menu.'

(I'll always drop this in the end, it isn't that many words and it's quite informative, in case you don't like it or has a better way to do it, I wouldn't mind reading about it in the comments!)

"... Looks like eating all of these ingredients did have a benefic effect."

Poison, Fire, and Lightning resistance.

The first one to appear was Poison resistance as many materials do have mild poisonous properties, and since I had some antidotes ready, I became a bit bolder with what I ate.

But still, I did not expect Fire and Lightning resistance to appear, this now means that I have resistance to the 3 most utilized forms of Elemental Spells.

In the game, that would be enough for me to last through 95% of the situations involving magic, but this is real life, and the Elements are much broader than Fire, Frost, and Lightning.

"My fast metabolism Skill also increased drastically… Heh."

And... Haggle and Trading increased considerably due to the amount of money I spent and gained.

Not to say Speech.

'Philip let out a dry laugh as he closed his eyes…'

"!"

'His eyes opened wide suddenly.'

I almost slept there.

'He tried his best to move, he had to get up from the ground before he slept, it was tempting, but there were things to do.'

"Urg, time to Level up… Before I close my eyes and sleep."

'Opening his Menu, he saw his choices, and he immediately went into deep thought.'

Considering what happened last time, increasing my physical body strength would be ideal…

I'm very curious to see what would happen if I were to select it again since my body can't get any more chiseled than this unless I grow beyond my physique.

But I also want to spend a point and see what would happen if I were to improve Magicka and Stamina…

I have 4 points… I guess I'll just spend one point on each for now.

First… Magicka.

/FLASH!/

'Philip's body suddenly flashed, bluish-white light shining from his veins!'

'Like a falling tree, he hit his head on the ground as he started to convulse on the ground.'

'His muscles tensed, his veins were sticking out like worms beneath his skin…'

'It was much tenser than last time!'

/30 seconds later…/

/Exhale…/

"Haa… Haa… That was… Intense…"

'Philip was sweating heavily as he looked at the ceiling of the room with a tired expression.'

"I was supposed to recover from this, not get out worse than before…"

'He lifted his arm, it didn't seem as heavy as before, despite what had just happened, his fatigue had indeed been cleansed.'

'His eyelids weren't as heavy, and his mental state was clear, so as the pain washed away, he felt better and better.'

"But… I don't feel much different, starting off with Magic may have been a bad option."

I do feel… A bit more, healthy I would say… It is somewhat noticeable.

The air also feels a bit… Tingly?

"There are many explanations for Magicka."

In some of these interpretations, Magicka is associated with Life force, so that may be it.

Another explanation for it is that the Stars are gates connecting somewhere else, and Magicka flows from there.

In this explanation, the Stars would have been created after the spirits or whatever decided to leave after Mundus was created, the sun having been created by Magnus, the Patron God of Magic.

And also, if it's in the environment, perhaps me feeling a bit weird due to my increased affinity for it?

Since increasing Health directly impacted my body, increasing Magicka and Stamina should do the same in some way, shape, or form.

Hence, isn't it natural to think that increasing Magicka may directly impact my talent towards Magic abilities, making me closer to an Elf in that regard?

Elves are born with some level of Magical aptitude. 'Some' may be an understatement, over half of all famed wizards throughout history were Elvish after all.

(The strongest is a 3K-year-old+ Dark Elf)

"Next…"

This time, I'll put my head on the ground okay…

I tried to stay up, see if I could resist it a little or even move throughout this, or train it a little, but the impact was more severe than I thought, so I'll get myself comfortable and wait.

/Tremble!/

'Philip's muscles started to contort, moving beneath his skin like snakes, his eyes also started to change, his Iris became more clear, a bit more focused, more round, more… Keen.'

'Even the hairs on his body seemed to react to this change, some fell, new ones rose…'

'It was an all-body transformation, and Philip immediately felt it when the transformation changed.'

"Huff… Huff… Cold…"

'The room seemed to have become twice as cold, and the smells… They all assaulted his nose at the same time.'

"I… Think… Huff… I know what changed."

My senses became much higher, and I can tell, I think I'm a bit more flexible now.

'He moved his legs up, and as he expected, it didn't hurt much.'

"For my future plans, I think I'll just dump everything in Stamina, I'll leave increasing my Physical strength for later."

Not now though... I'll leave that for when I'm tired so I can recover my fatigue instantly.

/Thud!/

'With a heavy sound, Philip looked at the corner of the room as a large table fell on the ground.'

'It was the Enchantment table he looted from the vampire's cave!'

"Alchemy's Level has increased considerably, but if I want to maximize time, then learning Enchanting is for the best."

I don't know how far I can go with this, but I remember clearly how to use Enchanting to boost Alchemy Skill Levels... Or anything really.

Alchemy and Enchanting were in hand to hand with raising almost every Skill.

And a bit of Smithing.

But compared to Smithing, Enchanting is much simpler to get into, at least for me.

Besides, there is one thing I know about Enchanting…

"It's pricy as fuck."

A ring that can raise Potion making by a matter of 10-15% would be treasure passed down in a family, anything better than that would become an item worn by influential people of the world.

Enchanters are also a bunch of scammers, they'll literally make small circles to control prices… Or at least this is what I read from Eddy's diary.

It shouldn't be too far from the truth.

Regardless, it is true that enchantments are expensive because this is an expansive art.

In essence, Enchanting is about putting a Spell/Magic effect into an Item, adding magical properties to it.

There are many forms of Enchanting, but I'll be considering the common form spread throughout Skyrim, and this form can be summarized in 5 steps:

"First, you get Knowledge, of how to cast a specific Spell onto an item, pretty much, you need to know how to enchant."

"Second, you get an Enchanting Table, it acts as a conduit for your work."

"Third, you get a Soul gem."

"Fourth, you fill that Soul gem with a Soul."

"Finally, you get an item, anything, and enchant it."

To learn how to enchant, you can do it in many forms, I'll simply go with the simplest.

Breaking the enchanted item, allowing the runes and methods to flow into my mind naturally.

How does this work? Well, it's probably due to the way Enchanting came to be in the first place.

Perhaps a Super wizard made this possible so the next generations could have it easier, or this is simply the natural order of things.

Maybe when the enchantment is broken, it reacts in a unique way with the brain of living organisms, or this may very well be a ploy from the Ideal Masters...

Who are the Ideal Masters? Perhaps what 'is' may be a better question…

They are most likely the first Necromancers to walk the Earth…

Remember the Soul gem? Well, it is directly tied to them… kind of.

There are two kinds of Soul gems, normal ones, and Black ones.

Normal ones work in a pretty direct way, the Soul inside the Soul gem is used to power the enchantment, hence, it doesn't do much to the person as they are already dead, the Soul would likely vanish, or go somewhere else…

But Souls inside a Black Soul gem are different… Since they are tied to the Ideal Masters... They were made that way.

You get a lot more power since the power for the Enchantment comes from them, but this power isn't for free, it's a deal, an exchange.

By agreeing to this deal, which is simply by using the Soul gem, you are pretty much sacrificing the Soul within it to the Ideal Masters and in exchange, they power your shenanigans.

It's much more efficient than normal enchanting, so if you got yourself a strong soul, better exchange it with the Ideal Masters, right?

But in essence, you are dooming a Soul for an eternity of enslavement in the hands of the greatest Necromancers to ever exist in exchange for a few more swings of a fiery Sword!

Rather pitiful in fact…

Of course, there must be a lot of intricacies to this, and my explanation might as well be wrong...

Yet it'll have to work for now.

It may be cold-hearted to use Souls to power this, but as long as I don't use Black gems then it's okay, Enchanting isn't banned in Skyrim, but the use of Black Soul gems is.

Because those are the only types of Soul gem that can trap Humanoid creatures/Intelligent life.

I don't think it'll be that hard to be selective.

But there is a reason why they say that all Enchanters eventually deal with the Ideal Masters.

That, however, will not happen for me since I likely won't ever need that much power.

And different from Necromancers and other evil-aligned beings, I have my basic morals.

"Enough talk, since I have 4 enchanted objects and a few pieces of jewelry, and other items why not try something out?"

'Philip took out a robe, two rings, and a necklace from his inventory.'

'Following the little information he had, he activated the Enchanting table, guiding its magical flow by channeling it…'

'It was difficult to explain, it was akin to a new sense, this was the only way he could explain it.'

'And now, Philip was thankful that he had invested a single point into Magicka, making this process that simpler.'

/Crack!/

'With a loud noise, the robe flashed in dark red light, and many runes appeared on its silk before they all broke down into beautiful particles of light.'

'And at the same time this happened, a great deal of information flowed into Philip's head, akin to a movie, he learned how to inscribe those runes, but not why they were used.'

'Memorization, but not understanding, however, that was perfect for him.'

"Phew… That was interesting… Next."

'Philip broke all of the items with a beautiful smile, the candle lights and the eerie green light from the table shone on his face.'

{You learned Fortify Conjuration from destroying this item}

{You learned Drain Health from destroying this item}

{You learned Fortify Magicka from destroying this item}

{You learned Fortify Conjuration from destroying this item}

'As you can see, he learned the same Enchantment twice.'

'Normally, this wouldn't be possible… But this is reality, it is very hard for 2 enchantments to be the exact same thing.'

'They may have the same name, but their specifics are different, their basic structure varies...'

'One does more than the other, but the other may be more efficient… That is up for Philip to play around with.'

'After that, he took out the filled Soul gems…'

"The Souls inside these are likely… From the forest creatures outside of his cave."

The Vampire had no Black Soul gems, but he was researching how to make one.

Thankfully, he didn't succeed, so he didn't harvest any of the Villager's Souls.

Right now, I have 5 Filled Petty Soul gems, the worst of the worst.

That'll have to do.

"Instead of making offensive Enchantments, it's best to enchant items."

I'll Enchant 3 rings with Fortify Magicka, one ring with Fortify Conjuration, and my sword with Drain Health.

One ring for each hand and a sword, the rest I'll sell.

"Focus."

...

/Sometime later.../

"Hm..."

Is the kid still there?

'With tired eyes, the old man turned his face to look at the alchemy room.'

Sigh, what's wrong with kids these days?

Perhaps... Is he trying to forget about his father's death by drowning himself in Alchemy?

"I hope he doesn't overwork himself... But what do I do now?"

He bought pretty much all of my ingredients, I'll have to fetch some more...

I have potions to sell, so I have a lot of work to do.

I've gained much more than I expected, but it feels hollow... Selling someone else's work isn't the same as selling my own.

/Creak.../

'Just as the old man cleaned his counter with a wet towel, Philip got out of the room...'

'What happened next was pretty standard, with the old man complaining heavily about... Everything.'

'Philip listened for a while, but he soon turned a deaf ear to it.'

'With a sneaky glance, he offered to sell a few more potions to the old man, but he wasn't interested.'

'Feeling a bit defeated, Philip said goodbye to him, it seemed his time here had come to an end.'

"... Thank you."

'From the second floor of the shop, a young lady stared at his back as he walked down the street.'

'She would remember what happened for a long time...'

...

"..."

There should be some other potion shops around.

Also, I'll pay a visit to the Jarl's court Magician.

After I enchanted the items, I decided to read the Conjuration books, and they worked just like I wanted.

Activating the Skill book will make it disappear, but the contents within it will be imprinted within my mind.

The problem is that this causes some gaps in my knowledge.

There were 3 Novice Spellbooks, 2 Apprentice Spellbooks, and one Adept Spellbook.

With just this, it isn't enough.

I can somehow make sense of the Novice books, but the rest is incomprehensible to me, I memorized it, but I can't invoke the Spell.

There are 2 more books to read, but those aren't Spell books, they are theory books, I don't have time to read them...

'As Philip was lost in his own thoughts, someone approached him from the side, it was a man running around with a small leather bag...'

"Hey, you! I've got a letter for you!"

"Huh? Me?"

'The courier looked at you from head to toe before saying, "You are indeed a bit different from the information... A bit... Buffed?" as he scratched his chin.'

"..."

"Well, I saw you leaving Hygfar's Potion Shop, and I've been waiting here for a while, and you meet some of the descriptions... Would you be Eddy?"

"Yes... That's me..."

"Great! I was afraid you wouldn't be him for a moment, I have been waiting for you for a while you see... A direct letter from the Jarl! Something about what happened yesterday and... Wow, a Vampire!" He said excitedly

"..."

'The courier gave him a small paper and a large sack, it had a small stamp on the side, it was indeed the Jarl's seal...'

"Talk about a crazy day... Looks like that's it, gotta go!"

'And without a single extra word, the man left.'

"..."

I didn't expect to meet the fabled Courier like this...

'Shaking his head, Philip read the note.'

'It was mostly a thank you letter, congratulating him for his efforts. The sack on his hand contained a grand total of 300 Septims for successfully ending the vampire and saving those affected by it.'

"While I was in the potion shop, they sent guards to confirm the situation..."

It may be little, but it's still money in the end, perhaps I can use this to have some deals with the court Wizard?

'Philip folded the letter and put it inside his pockets before looking at the end of the road.'

...

/Sometime later.../

'Philip used the next 2 hours to walk around the city, he sold some of his useless items to clear some space, gaining a small sum in the process, and he also exchanged some of his gems for gold since they were useless for him in that state.'

'Finding the other Alchemy shop was easy, and like before, he bought a large sum of ingredients while also selling some of his potions to make up for his expending.'

'He didn't expect things to go so smoothly, but it seemed that what he did already spread somewhat, and considering this potion shop was directly related to the other, it was clear its owner saw him in a good light.'

'This also caused his Speech Skill to raise greatly.'

[Speech 43 -> 44]

[Speech 44 -> 45]

[Speech 45 -> 46]

[Speech 46 -> 47]

'Later, he passed through the Jarl's manor, but he wasn't here for official business, he talked with the guards and they led him to the Court Wizard.'

...

'After talking with the Court Wizard for a little while, he successfully made a deal.'

'He sold him many potions, and even a few ingredients in exchange for Gold, and a few more items.'

'Many Soul Gems of Petty and Common quality, a few weak Enchanted items for him to break later, and several Novice Level Spell books so he could start leveling other schools of Magic.'

[Speech 47 -> 48]

'Overall, the court Magician was pretty direct and a no-bullshit man, he got what he wanted, and as soon as they were done, he kicked him out.'

'But Philip did not care, he got what he came here to get, and if it wasn't for what he did before, he was sure the Court Magician wouldn't even have talked with him.'

'Or worse, the guards would've stopped him at the door...'

...

'Philip sat on a bench in a small open area, stretching his legs as he rested.'

"There's only one thing left."

Deal with the damn Caravan, and start moving.

There is still around an hour before Battlecry comes off cooldown, once that is ready, I'll visit them in the Inn they're staying.

I hope they cooperate.

'He got up from his bench, making his way to the smithy nearby, he needed a shield...'

'And a new bow since the one he had was terrible.'

Notes

As I said before, next chapter will end things, I just don't know if we'll already return to reality or not.

Like the other 2 times before, I'll do a small skip.

He'll start with meeting the Caravan, and dealing with them, before thinking about what to do, then we'll jump 2 weeks and have the explanation of what he did in the middle, and hopefully, it'll be pretty cool.

Philip does have a lot to do, such as getting the powers from the standing stones, and getting a few shouts perhaps?

That would be pretty neat.

I appreciate some ideas, there are many cool things in this world, and I barely even remember 10% of it.

So yeah, that's about it, see ya!
