"Start!" Von screamed on the top of his lungs.

By the time he shouted, the three boys released their seals.

The white-haired boy released a white ring, with two blades, a red band and a one-eighth inch vertical line on the right side. His seal was on his left wrist, like an armband.

The black-haired boy released his seal on his left, it is black in color, with a silver band, three blades, a one-sixteenth inch vertical line on the left side. His seal is on the right, and on the wrist like the other one.

The blue-haired boy released a pure blue seal on his right hand, with four blades and a one inch diagonal to the right line on the middle. His left hand also released a pure cyan seal with four blades, a one inch diagonal to the right in the middle and slightly inclined forward. It was their first time seeing an inclined seal.

But..

Yeah, our main character would remain unfazed. Why? Because he is a freak!

His eyes were still fine, not moving an inch.

The black-haired boy produced a black orb, and it vanished within a second. The white-haired boy produced three white fireballs and fired it off in an instant. They stood side by side while delivering a barrage to Vin.

Vin saw the difficulty in moving. The black orbs would fire on his blindspots while the light fireballs were in front of him.

But..

Yah, let's add some spice!

He was still pondering over when a black orb hit his back. With a second of buffer, he was hit by a light fireball, but he coiled himself and was sent flying leftwards.

His right arm still lit by the fire and his back mana was being sucked outwards on the place where he was hit by the orb.

Then suddenly, his instincts told him that he was in danger, but was too late.

He rammed himself on an ice wall. He rebounded and when he was falling, water was streaming towards his chest.

"Die, fool!" The blue-haired man said, but what gave him goosebumps was--

Seven figures could be seen running towards the middle of the plaza.

But to their surprise, an ice wall stood in front of Vin.

       --Vin's smile wasn't wiped off.

A fireball flew towards the ice wall and the wall exploded. Mists of ice could be seen. The trio was still smirking, laughing at the "miserable bubble man". Von ran towards the mist but a voice halted his steps.

"A pure ice seal, huh? Well, it doesn't affect me that much."

The three who was smirking now stunned, but the blue-haired man shoot another water stream. The mist went off, but Vin was not there.

The mist grew and covered their visions.

The other two jumped backwards, and stood beside the blue-haired man.

"What a waste. Your skills are still raw." Vin's voice rang out again, but it was a bit louder than before.

The three released their skills again and again, hoping that they can hit Vin once, but all of this was only for naught. It appears that Vin wasn't there at all.

"Mana sucking space orb? I see. So this seal will let you steal mana from your opponent, but too bad, you can't steal my mana from me, or you won't because if you do.." Vin's voice stopped, and as if on cue, the black-haired man fell of the ground, straight. Like a post that was chopped down.

Flop! The sound was heard. The blue-haired man saw what happened. His face grew pale.

He knew that his companion's seal was a good thing for beating stronger opponents, but from what he heard he can't and won't steal Vin's mana.

"Could it be--?" His voice rang out.

But all he had was a chuckle.

"What? Be what?" Vin's voice rang out again.

"You f*ck*r!" The blue-haired boy shouted.

"Oh, and that light fireball? This is how you do it." A ball was seen from the front of them. Six fireballs, coming from one direction but sealed of all their escape routes. The other boy shielded the blue-haired boy, but to his surprise, an ice wall erected in front of him. The blue-haired boy was pale from over consuming of mana.

"Oh! An ice wall, but you don't do it like that." A hexagonal ice wall caged the three others, but that's not the surprising part. The ice walls were twice the size of the ice wall the blue-haired boy summons.

"Oh and one more, a tornado might give you a headache." And again, after he said that, a tornado struck them and all the ice walls vanished.

The mist vanished after that. Four silhouettes could be seen, but they are not far away from each other, but, it was a boy, carrying three boys, while he was walking steadily.

"Vin!" Von shouted and arrived in front of him. He took the blue-haired boy from Vin and placed him on his back.

"You sure know how to make others worry." Von chuckled but the smile on Vin's face no disappeared.

"Look at them, Vin. They were so eager to save you earlier!" Von said.

"Them?" A puzzled look was seen on Vin's face.

Von just chuckled and pointed on the six people in front of them.

There were five females almost of his age, and a man, whom they saw at the first day, the principal.

The first female has a red long hair on her back. Her caramel blouse and brown vest highlights her white skin. Her red squinted eyes were giving off a dangerous aura.

The next one is a female with her orange hair in a ponytail. Her round eyes gives a cheerful vibe and her skin was a bit whiter than the red-haired one.

The othe one is a not too tall female with a slightly chubby cheeks. Her skin is a bit fair and gives a courageous feeling. Her short green hair was combed neatly.

The other girl was thin, but her skin was whiter than the rest. She was taller than the others, but not taller than Von. She had an indigo hair and was tied on a scorpion braid. She was smiling towards them.

The last female is the most beautiful amongst them. She has a golden blonde hair, a pair of golden eyes, with long black eyelashes. She was a bit short, but not the shortest among them. She was not smiling nor frowning.

Melchor walked towards them and helped Vin to carry the other one. He patted his shoulders and walked with them.

They strode down the road, and passing through their classroom. They walked together with the females of their class.

After a while, they stopped on a small hut. Melchor knocked thrice and an old woman came out. Her hair is white, and wrinkles could be seen on her face, but a smile made them feel.comfortable.

"Come in." She said and left the door open.

Von was the first to enter. He then held the door for the others to come in, and then he closed it after the last female came.

The room has four beds, a table on the farthest left and bright lights. There were also some plants near the window, but the atmosphere doesn't smell like dew.

"So, what happened?" The lady asked.

"Pardon, Elder Sonia, but this boys had a spar and the other three were, you know, a bit busted.." Melchor was stuttering while explaining.

Von didn't understand why his words were like that, but as he glanced at the old lady, his face was also filled with terror.

She was obviously mad at the principal.

"How dare you, Melchor! What kind of teacher are you? If your father sees this, do you think--"

"Yes, Mom. Sorry. I just got a bit late--"

"Late? You liar. As for when did you have a tardy mark on your record?" The principal tried to cut her off, but he was beaten on his own game.

"Why don't you just tell me that you watched them, eh?" The lady smirked at the helpless looking principal.

"Yes, I watched them." He felt a bit disgusted as he admit his wrong.

"You fool. You never change. For almost fifty years, and now opening the Ninth Plaza, you still do the same. So who won?" The old lady scolded him.

"Mother, it's him." The principal was a bit hesitant, but still he pointed at Vin.

"Him? What do you mean by him?" The lady was angry while asking she was asking for details, but--

"Ma'am, it's like this. The three people we have today, challenged Vin to a one versus three, and--"

"They were beaten up to this point?" The lady was startled.

    --Von saved him from expalining.

Vin scratched his cheeks by his index finger while looking away.

"So this boy is capable of taking down a nine element concentration, double law lad?" The lady asked.

All of them gasped in surprise. Nine element concentration? Double law? Just how strong that is.

In normal terms, a normal boy would have a six element concentration. Seven element is uncommon, eight element is rare. How about nine? This rarity is unprecedented.

But that number was too small. As for the two monsters on that room, they were monsters after all. They concealed the aura of their mana and suppressed it on to six element.

Vin just smiled at them. Except for Melchor, who knew his identity and true test results, and Von, his brother, all of the others were having a question on their minds.

'Just how strong is this guy?'

The three was laid down on the bed and was given some pills to ingest.

The three regained their color and was breathing softly. Their mana concentration was flowing slowly but with calmness.

They were all silent, the others sat down on the fourth bed, except for Vin. A few minutes later, Titus came rushing. He pushed the door wildly, but he was stopped by the old lady. She put her index finger on her lips and turned around.

Seeing her turn around, Titus stepped hastily and then sat on the bed of the blue-haired boy.

While their gazes were still locked on them, only Vin realized some similarities of the two. He then closed his eyes, then he pulled the door open, and walked outside.

The morning breeze made his mind clear. He inhaled a deep breath and replayed on his mind the spar he attended today.

"That smile is a scary one." A sweet voice was heard from behind him.

He turned around only to find out that gold eyes were staring at him. He hastily stepped backward, only to see her frowning face.

"Hey, do you only reveal that smile on the fervor of battle?" She asked again, but now, having a not so good tone.

"Zaine, don't startle him like that!" The red-haired girl butted in.

"But Dhalia, he is scary when he smile like that. Tell me, if in the middle of the battle, he smiles like that and is 'that' strong, how much more--"

"Uhmm, I think nothing can make me angry." Vin cut her off.

"Really? On the first day of registration, your face is like a sour plum, and you say nothing can make you angry? Such a l--"

"Liar?" He scratched his cheeks and smiled halfly.

"I think that word doesn't describe him." A voice can be heard from the door while it was slowly opening.

Zaine suddenly vanished and appeared in front of Von, who was just walking out of the door. Her hands on her waist and her eyes was staring right at his.

"You know, if you keep sprouting like that everywhere, I might be startled and jump out of fright." Von chuckled.

"You Mister Blackhead, that lips of yours is dirty." Zaine pouted.

Von just smiled at him.

"Well, like I said, Vin isn't a liar."
