Chapter 138: 200%

Hundreds of rips, covered Mute's skin making blood cover his body. Blood dripped off his chin, hitting the ground, right when. Mute's body vanished and reappeared in front of Yuta throwing a punch that shattered the katana, he was holding. Yuta grimaced from the force of the punch.

Before he spun and threw a kick that slammed into Mute's torso sending Mute flying back. Mute's feet slid across the rough terrain until he reached over and snagged onto a katana. He tightly held onto the katana, before Yuta asked a question while walking towards Mute.

" Why aren't you healing your body? " This question was one. That Mute wouldn't answer. The reason is quite simple, even with the boost, Mute would receive if he told Yuta, it simply wouldn't be worth it. The reason Mute isn't healing is because of a binding vow. A binding vow, he made before confronting Yuta and the other sorcerers.

RCT Switch. Mute had exchanged his remaining RCT for curse energy. Mute had barely utilized healing during the Shibuya incident. Only the clash with Toji had forced him to heal his wounds, leaving him with approximately 70% of his RCT intact. However, the binding vow posed a significant risk.

With Yuta's barrage of curse techniques, the chances of Mute receiving an injury were quite high, especially if this battle was drawn out. But it wouldn't be, in less than a minute, Mute's domain would fully activate. Both Yuta and Mute knew this, so, in a blink. Yuta lunged at Mute while grabbing onto a blade.

Mute paused, inhaling deeply before swiftly swinging his katana. Yuta watched the blade's approach before skillfully leaping into the air, somersaulting over the blade. Mid-flip, Yuta twisted his blade. The blade started to glow a bright blue, until a surge of energy shot out the katana in the form of a slash. This unexpected slash caught Mute off guard, causing him to freeze it in mid-air.

Yuta's grunted annoyed, as he released another slash from his blade. The energy blade sped towards Mute, who vanished just before impact, causing the blade to crash into the ground, splitting it in two and creating a small valley.

Yuta grew more annoyed, as he clicked his tongue before feeling a grip on his ankle. Mute held Yuta's ankle before he powerfully slammed him into the ground, shattering it. Yuta's body bounced off the ground until he snapped his fingers and the slash frozen in the air, glowed a dark blue.

This dark blue illuminated Mute's face before it violently exploded causing a massive dust to sweep through the domain blinding Mute's vision. Mute covered his eyes with his hands until he took a deep breath and stagnated the dust.

Mute peered through the dust, a mix of annoyance and frustration etched on his face. Yuta had cleverly hidden within the dust, obscuring Mute's vision. Usually, Mute wouldn't have stagnated the dust but mixed with the dust was cursed energy. And with his lack of RCT Mute decided to stagnate the dust, just as a precaution.

Time was not a concern for Mute, he knew he had it on his side. If Yuta thought he could hide within the dust cloud, Mute would let him. In just a matter of seconds, Mute's domain would activate, bringing an end to this battle. But little did Mute know, hidden inside this dust cloud wasn't just Yuta, but hundreds of blue slashes that surrounded him from all directions.

Inside the dust, Yuta crouched down, beads of sweat trickling down his face. With a determined glare, he snapped his fingers, commanding the slashes like a pack of well-trained dogs. They surged forward, slicing through the dust cloud with ease, as if it were nothing more than soft butter. Yuta waited a few more nerve-racking seconds before snapping his fingers once again.

In a spectacular display, the hundreds of slashes exploded, obliterating the dust cloud in an instant. The explosion lingered for several seconds until it finally faded away. Revealing Mute standing in a crater, his cloak was burnt, and burn wounds covered his body. But nothing was more noticeable than the fact his right ear was missing.

Blood poured out of his ear, as Mute reached to his temple and felt his missing ear. Mute was stunned, for some reason, Mute couldn't freeze the slashes or explosions that enveloped him. But Mute couldn't think about this for much longer, as Yuta appeared behind him, throwing a lightning-fast punch.

This punch slammed into Mute's ribs, as black lightning spewed out from Yuta's fist. Mute coughed out blood as the air around his body warped before his body was blown back while an ear-deafening shockwave rippled through the air.

Something was wrong, Yuta was fighting at a whole new level, he was moving faster and his attacks had become stronger. Mute flipped through the air before suddenly Yuta's barrier began to crack before collapsing entirely. Mute glanced around confused, Mute hadn't done enough damage to break Yuta's domain from the inside, so why did he cancel it? But Mute couldn't ponder about this for long.

Because before he could react, A heel slammed into his chin, followed by black lighting. Mute's body was once again blown back, Mute body flipped in the air repeatedly before he flipped and slammed his feet on the ground, coming to a screeching stop.

The clouds twisted ominously above as Mute fell to one knee, a look of disbelief etched on his face. Crimson blood oozed from his lips, as blood gushed out of Mute's missing ear. But even with the missing ear, Mute could still hear Yuta's footsteps as he approached Mute.

Yuta glared down at Mute with his eyes fully focused. The reason for Yuta's sudden increase in power was simple. With his newfound strength, Yuta had unleashed 200% of his true potential...
