In the middle of the beach, an intense exchange of close combat was unraveling. Toji could be seen lunging at Maki, throwing a barrage of powerful combinations she could barely fend off.
Maki swiftly raised her guard, skillfully blocking a punch that left a bruise on her forearm, she gritted her teeth in agony until she lowered her guard and twisted her hips, about to throw a counter right hook until Toji's heel suddenly appeared inches away from her nose. The kick was about to land until suddenly Maki's body teleported being replaced by Mute who slipped the kick and slammed a powerful punch into Toji's side making his body fly off into nearby woods.
Mute stared at this woods breathing heavily until he glanced over at Maki standing next to a lounge chair staring at him confused. Maki turned her head slightly before asking a question.
" Why are you protecting me? "
" Does one need a reason to help their cousin? "
" Don't bullshit me. You could care less about me. It has something to do with Mai, Right? If so, you better fucking tell me!- "
Before Maki could finish yelling out her sentence, the sound of a rustling brush caught her attention, causing her to quickly look back, as soon as she did this, massive punch were mere millimeters away from her eyes. She started to squint bracing for the punch, before to her surprise, suddenly the fist vanished and was replaced by Mute.
Mute stood there panting, he was quickly running out of curse energy, he locked eyes with Maki until suddenly, his eyes dilated and he snapped his head back. Right when he did this, a thrown nunchuck shot out of the woods narrowly missing Mute's face, however. The same couldn't be said for Maki.
The sharp nunchuck, sliced across Maki's face causing a massive gash, making her teeth visible through her cheek. Maki touched the hole in her cheek in shock, until she noticed, that the same hole could be seen, in Mute's face even though, he dodged the Nunchuck.
" Ain't this fucking perfect, I can't even heal the wound. "
Murmured Mute touching the wound. Due to the binding vow properties, and the fact that Maki can't use RCT. Mute cannot heal any wound on his body, that stemmed from Maki. Maki and Mute's bodies are linked, any damage done to Maki will also appear on Mute's body, that's why Mute protected Maki so ferociously. Mute locked eyes with Maki while letting out a loud sigh, and instantly her body teleported away. Maki appeared 200 feet away from everyone else, she glanced around confused while Toji and Mute dashed at each other throwing a barrage of attacks.
Toji and Mute exchanged fierce blows, each of their attacks landing with precision until Mute saw a gap through Toji's attacks and swiftly evaded a punch by ducking, making Toji's knuckle graze his temple. Before Toji could pull back his hand, Mute reached up and tightly grabbed Toji's burly arms. Using Toji's momentum against him, Mute flipped Toji making him collide with the ground violently. For a brief moment, Toji was sprawled on the ground, until he rolled and leaped forward, tackling Mute onto the ground, landing on top of him.
He sat on Mute, laying on top of him, and was about to start repeatedly throwing punches until a sudden horde of rabbits, stormed towards Toji and Mute. Mute glanced at the incoming horde of rabbits before he murmured just loud enough for Toji to hear.
" Damn it, Megumi Fushiguro. "
The horde of rabbits came from Megumi, as he desperately tried to keep Dagon away from him. Megumi knew he couldn't beat Dagon but as long as he kept him at bay, Maki might be able to kill Mute and Toji. He summoned the rabbits, trying to engulf Dagon, confusing him. However, unbeknownst to Megumi directly above him. Was Dagon glaring down at him before he stretched out his red palm pointing it at Megumi.
Water started to fill Dagon's palm until a sudden shadow was cast on top of him, Dagon glanced up confused before a powerful punch slammed into his face, sending him crashing down into the ground. Dagon collided with the beach, creating a crater.
Dagon pushed off the ground in agony until a powerful stomp slammed into the back of his head indenting his skull, Toji repeatedly, stomped on Dagon's head. Making blood spew out of his mouth while his body twitched uncontrollably, until finally. Dagon stopped all movements.
Toji stood on Dagon's corpse until he locked eyes with Megumi while the domain's barriers slowly faded away. Toji grinned at Megumi before he spoke.
" Megumi...It's been- "...
