After Ganon

The way home was silent.

Zelda wrapped her arms around links body.

She struggled to keep her eyes open in the dark. Every time they opened it stung and she needed to close them again.

The horse's bobbing made staying awake even harder.

Link watched the path in front of him. He enjoyed Zelda's warm body pressing against his. Even though he didn't want to admit it to himself, he really had missed Zelda.

Every day he had spent in the wild he thought back to his old house. Where he and Zelda used to live.

It was quite the idyllic life. Hateno was and still is a beautiful village with great people.

But as Hylians are. During Link's long journey, he did search for, a bit more. And when he got the opportunity to build his own dream house just outside of terry town. He couldn't refuse. It was a beautiful almost perfect spot.

He looked forward to living there. With Zelda.

In the last three years, both of them have grown even much closer.

Living together brought them quite close together.

But both of them seemed to be still quite shy about each other, and Zelda often tried running away from her feelings by engaging in her studies.

But just as she wanted to give Link the gift she had worked on for so long they just had to go into that cave.

Zelda was still quite unsure why Ganondorf awoke just as they entered.

Why then? Why not earlier?

Link felt Zelda slowly losing her posture as she fell into sleep.

After the fight, she explicitly told Link to "please just take me somewhere to sleep" quote.

And even though he did want to go to that place he had to stay awake and ride the horse.

He did think about taking her with him using teleportation, but he wasn't sure if that worked on two people, and he didn't want to risk it.

But even Link could hardly stay awake,

The injuries he squires during the battles with Ganondorf were the harshest ones he had ever gotten next to the ones in the battle of Hyrule 100 years earlier.

His body was in pain and his feet were covered in gloom.

The only thing keeping him working was the fairy's that he had taken with him.

And by the goddess, he would have died without them.

But Link kept pushing on regardless. He wanted to bring Zelda home. He wanted to go home.

As they approached the hill next to Tarrey town the sun had fully gone down. The grass plains of Necludea simmered in the moonlight. A white moonlight.

Link felt ever more relieved the further he went along the brown path, that had been walked into the hill.

As he closed in on his newly built house he couldn't keep himself seated.

Quickly he jumped off, put his horse into the stable, took Zelda into his arms as he only did a few hours earlier, and carried her into the house.

As he went into the bedroom he soon faced a problem. He didn't have two beds.

But in this instance, he was way to exhausted to care. He softly laid Zelda down onto the cushions, before rapidly taking off all of his gear. He threw it into the ground and thought to himself these simple words

"I don't give a fuck I'll clean it tomorrow."

He threw himself onto the bed before shuddering.

He quickly realized the mistake and slowly turned his head towards Zelda who was luckily still asleep.

Link sighed in relief. He wanted to close his eyes but still had to take a look at his arm.

During Zelda's "transformation" (whatever the fuck) he got his arm back.

He looked at it. It was just like before, but he kind of misses Raurus's arm. He's now never going to be able to use his powers again. He actually got quite fond of his arm. Plus he really thought it looked badass. The tattoos were stylish as fuck.

He really liked his look. But now he was just plain white again.

But before he could think about getting tattoos or something like that he got ripped out of his thought by Zelda stealing his blanket.

In that very moment, as the sweet bold haired half goddess took away Link's warm comfy blanket. He looked at her sleeping body. His mind already thinking about how to take the most brutal revenge possible.

But his intrusive thoughts were interrupted by the bitter cold that touched his body.

He quickly went to grab the blanket from Zelda.

And as he pulled her grip only tightened.

"HOW CAN YOU BE SO STRONG ASLEEP!?" Hissed link trying to be as quiet as possible.

Eventually, he got his half of the blanket back.

Quickly rolled link himself into the blanket in order to fix it under his back. But now he got himself rolled up in a burrito with Zelda.

Link suddenly felt a strange feeling in his chest...

Was it embarrassment? He wasn't quite sure.

As e slowly tried to untangle him and Zelda he only made the situation stranger.

After 3min Link reached his breaking point, he looked at Zelda peacefully sleeping and decided not to care and went on to just sleep anyways...
