Chapter 2

**Abel**

The car pulled up into the driveway and parked by the entrance. I got out of the car and slicked my hair back before addressing my driver and bodyguard,

"The headmistress already has a few lined up so this shouldn't take long. Remind me to have a box sent to Lexi's home will you? They have served well."

The bodyguard snickered as he remembered just how well that serving was. He was a brute of a man, all muscle and testosterone with rather sadistic kinks. It was those kinks and his high tolerance for pain that appealed to me. We were kindred souls.. of a sort.

"Sure thing boss."

The driver grunted, the only sound he could ever be heard making. He was a quiet one. Not out of choice, but necessity. He had learnt the hard way not to cross me, and now he was fiercely loyal and protective of me and my assets.

I faced the school and took a minute to admire it. I enjoyed the beautiful things in life, the classy and the elegant. It was an old beauty with with ivy tendrils creeping up the sides. The main entrance was flanked by two enormous, towering pillars that gave the space an extra sense of grandeur. The doorway was arched and decorated with elaborate carvings of mythical scenes that bordered on the obscene. I smirked at that, "how appropriate" I thought to myself. For a building so old, it was in very good shape thanks to all the money I pumped into it in exchange for the services I required.

I walked into the building and entered the foyer, and took a left into the headmistresses office. I found the secretary at her desk but ignored her and went right into the office. The secretary did not say anything and just went about her work, but she must have somehow already alerted the headmistress to my presence because by the time I opened the door Ms Delaney was already standing up in greeting.

"Mr Moore, thank you for coming in. I hope everything is alright?"

"There's no need for the boring chitchat and pleasantries, let's get right on with it. Where are they?"

"Right, of course. They are right across the square. If you will, please follow me."

Ms Delaney walked out of her office and past the secretary and I followed, walking a comfortable distance behind her. At this point, there was a bit of a commotion in the hallways and the square. It seemed the girls were aware of my presence and were curious about what it meant. We walked into the square where a lot of the school girls were present, whispering and pointing at the tall devilishly handsome man who only ever came on to the school grounds once a year. I wasn't phased at all as I was used to getting all sorts of attention from the opposite gender of all ages. In fact I flashed a cheeky grin at them and even winked at a few.

As my gaze wandered back to Ms Delaneys retreating back ahead of me, I noticed that she was making a few awkward and frantic gestures with her head and her hands. I looked at where her gestures were directed, and stopped dead in my tracks.

"And what do we have here?"
