Chapter 1

On an ordinary morning in the small town of Oakland Falls. A 15 year old teenager named Shaun was walking to school. He kicked a rock that was near him. Cold wind blew around him. He opened his backpack and sat on a bench. It was a stolen pack of his dads cigarettes. He then grabbed the lighter he had also stolen from his dad. He then zipped shut his backpack and began to smoke a cigarette from his pack.

In the forest near the town a couple Amanda and Tom were in a cabin in the woods. Tom was making eggs and bacon while Amanda sat at the kitchen table. She said, "I wish there was some service out here."

Tom said, "well were on vacation dont worry about the stupid cell service." "let's just relax and have a good time."

Amanda said, "yeah you're right sorry." She put her phone back in her pocket." Smoke rose up in the air. Shaun saw a fly buzz by him. He then finished his cigarette threw it on the ground and stomped on it. The ericson family was getting ready for there average lives. The father Martin Ericson (42) was getting a suit on for work. They had just had breakfast and were getting ready to leave now. He kissed his wife on the lips. Amelia (37). His teenage son James (16) rushed down the stairs with his backpack on. Martin said, "careful you could fall down the stairs."

James said, "yeah yeah." James and Martin ended up leaving the house. Amelia decided to take there dog Alfred. Who was a golden retriever out for a walk. Martin was driving in his car to work. James got onto the school bus and sat down in one of the seats. He looked out the window as the school bus began driving. Amelia was walking the dog down the sidewalk. The dog Ryan which was a golden retriever smelled everything in its sight.

Amelia looked around the neighborhood and thought, I'm glad we live in this wonderful neighborhood. James girlfriend Addison was in her dads car. Her father was driving her to school. He had an angry look on his face. "Are you dating someone?"

"No."

"Dont goddamn lie to me Addison!" His fist punched the radio. Addison winced at the hitting sound. His face was insanely red. "I looked in you're goddamn phone last night and you've been texting some kid named James!" "The messages went back all the way to goddamn six months!"

"Screw you I'm your daughter not yours slave and I can have my own goddamn life!" He began driving faster and faster. "Dad stop your gonna crash!" It was reaching the 80 mile mark quickly. Shaun had decided to take a short cut instead of going to the route the school bus would be driving to school. As Shaun walked down the street to the other side. Addison's dads car drove insanely fast towards Shaun.

"Stop it!" The car reached the 100 mile mark as it got closer and closer to Shaun.
