dungeon raid

"That's just the beginning of the power I will grant you if you assist me," Thesis stated with a sly grin that somehow managed to penetrate his mind.

"So what exactly do you want me to do?" he inquired, feeling motivated as he didn't want to miss out on such a rare opportunity to become stronger.

"I want you to utilize Detect within this realm and locate the flow of magic similar to this," Thesis explained as a bluish energy enveloped Ace. "Isn't that too much? My detection won't be able to cover such a vast distance!"

"Don't worry, this realm is a reflective realm, spanning only about five hundred cubic meters but repeating infinitely," Thesis reassured Ace, who then decided to use detection.

Upon activating detection, Ace could perceive just how small the realm was, and he could also discern the source of the energy Thesis had mentioned—it was directly in front of them.

Thesis produced a book inscribed with ancient codex and opened a page for Ace to translate. Initially blank, the page became clear after Ace activated the translation.

"Finally, it is here—the gateway to the Zenexian Temple has materialized!" Thesis exclaimed, dashing through the newly formed door while Ace hesitantly followed behind.

[Two years later]

"Finally, I have returned... That was much more captivating than I had anticipated!" A figure bearing a striking resemblance to Ace remarked, gazing at a blue screen before him. It was indeed Ace, who had spent two years in a peculiar realm assisting Thesis.

"The reward is quite impressive. What was it called again? Hmmm..." Ace pondered, stroking his chin. "Ah, yes, the Zenex6 system. It has transformed my card abilities into skills and their ranks into proficiency. According to Thesis, this system will make me the strongest by managing my growth and rewarding me with experience."

[Reward Number 1 is a Calculus skill called Addition. It allows you to temporarily enhance a specific stat, with its efficiency increasing based on your proficiency. This skill requires 2Mp to use.

Reward Number 2 grants you an additional 10 stat points.

The final reward is three gold coins, which can be used by players at level 5 and above.]

Upon assessing these rewards, I realize that they would greatly enhance my abilities for a dungeon raid. To compensate for my lack of defense, I will allocate 5 points to strength, 3 points to speed, and 2 points to defense.

In that moment, Ace could feel an immense surge of power coursing through his body. He felt lighter, stronger, and faster than ever before, surpassing the capabilities of an average human with just 10 additional points!

Looking around for something to test his newfound strength, Ace spotted his fridge, which weighed 100kg. Initially, he could only lift it a few centimeters off the ground with one hand. However, after using his Addition skill to increase his strength by two, along with a proficiency increase of 1, he decided to push the limits of his skill. Using it again, his strength increased by three, and after another use, his strength increased by three once more, with his proficiency increasing by 1. With four mp remaining, his strength was now boosted to 15, and his proficiency stood at 3.

Lost in thought, Ace had forgotten that he was even lifting the fridge, which was now above his head level. He could hardly believe that he had achieved such strength with just 15 points allocated to his strength stat.

Three days later, at the Mercenary Guild...

The world was divided into three systems. The first was the Mercenary Guild, which hired individuals on a temporary basis to clear dungeons and retrieve valuable items. The second system consisted of private guilds controlled by individuals, where members worked either permanently or on contract. Lastly, there was the government Hunter Association, a governmental agency responsible for managing hunters.

Ace determined that joining a Mercenary guild would be the best option for him to quickly level up.

"I would like to register for this dungeon quest!" Ace exclaimed, presenting the quest paper to the receptionist. "Are you a member of any guild or are you a guildless Hunter?" the receptionist inquired as part of the registration process.

"I am a guildless Hunter and I intend to complete this level 1 dungeon on my own," Ace replied.

After completing the registration process, Ace was provided with a guild card for future reference.

Upon reaching the entrance of the level 1 dungeon, known as the Goblin cave, Ace remarked, "I was able to purchase this rusty blade with all my savings, but it will be worth it."

[Rusty blade: Attack: 2 (+2 Strength)]

Ace entered the dungeon and immediately received a quest notification from his system. [Quest: Clear the goblin's cave level 1 dungeon within two hours. {Quest reward: 2 instant level ups and a new passive skill}]

"Sweet!" Ace exclaimed as he ventured through the cavernous walls of the cave, which emitted a putrid odor of blood. This was likely due to the numerous battles that had taken place within the dungeon. After a dungeon was cleared, it would eventually respawn, making it akin to an endless quest.

Lost in his thoughts, Ace was abruptly brought back to reality by a group of Goblins. There were five Goblin guards armed with bronze swords and wooden shields. They wasted no time in charging towards Ace with fiery eyes and a thirst for blood.

Ace smirked as he tightly gripped his sword and swiftly lunged towards the first Goblin. He skillfully evaded its attack and severed its hand with a single strike. Moving on to the next Goblin, Ace delivered a powerful blow to its face, causing it to bleed profusely.

He inflicted damage upon all the Goblins to the point where they were unable to retaliate, taking his time to dispatch them one by one.

Ace walked into the boss room only to be faced by a goblin warrior, they're give times stronger than average goblin guards and wielded even more powerful weapons compared to them.

It was an obvious fact that Ace was stronger than it, After using intimidation on it, it's speed

and defence greatly fell making it easier for Ace to solo the boss after which it dropped it's magic crystal.
