Chapter 4
Once the 'Cursed Javelin' was summoned everyone finally got used to Leroy's XYZ summoning.
"I will now send My 'Cursed Javelin' onto your Winged Kuriboh. 'Cursed Javelin' attack!"
Crushed Javelin attacked by aiming its Javelin and threw it at the winged Kuriboh destroying it and sending it to the graveyard. At the sight of the pixels Kuriboh left behind Leroy still continued His turn.
"I activate My spell 'Dark Eruption'. This card allows me to summon a Dark attribute monster in my graveyard and back onto my field and I choose 'The Phantom Knight Of Wrong Magneting' in attack mode!"
Like before a steel wheel appeared, but this time a small imp was hanging onto said wheel and used it as a floatation device.

Right next to the Wrong Magneting a Shield appeared with chains wrapped around it keeping the spirit around the shield.

"But now I Link summon using both my Trap Monsters to summon 'The Phantom Knights Of Rusty Bardice'!"
Right above both monsters appeared a square with blacked out arrows on its sides and once it was standing over them both monsters turned into a red energy leaving the field toward the box filling out three arrows coloring them red.
Then from the box inside the arrows a blue flame exerted out of it revealing a black set of armor carrying a huge broad Ax. Leroy after having no cards in His hand ended His turn and Syrus began His by drawing a card.
" I summon my 'Steamroid' in attack mode and I send it towards Your 'Cursed Javelin' Leroy!"
At Syrus's command a cartoonish Steam train appeared about to attack with its special effect by gaining 500 ATK points when facing an opponent's monster. After the attack Syrus was confused as was both Jayden and Alexis see Syrus's monster vanish into Pixels instead of Leroy's Monster.
Leroy smiled and then spoke out "My 'Rusty Bardiche' effect if its effect arrows point to an XYZ Phantom Knight Monster I can destroy one card and I choose your Steamroid!"
At the order The Phantom Knights Of Rusty Bardiche took its ax in hand and threw it in a boomer-rang like manner slicing through the Steamroid and flew right back into its hand ending Syrus's turn and Alexis took this advantage and attacked Jayden and Syrus directly with all Her and Leroy's monsters.

At the sight of their loss Jayden and Syrus looked down. While Syrus was moping Jayden raised His head smiling.
"That was awesome, can't wait for the next one!"
Both Alexis and I walked towards the duo and Jayden was fired enough for another which I ignored and I faced Syrus and talked to Him.
"Good job Syrus. You did great."
"Huh?"
Syrus was confused at my statement so I elaborated "You Dueled and had fun. Even though you lost you became a better Duelist, Person, and Hopefully a friend."
I extended my hand to Syrus who almost became teary eyed and shook my hand very swifty several times. Until Bastion came out of the blue asking on How many Decks I had and what kind of summoning I did on my final turn.
As I was going to answer Him, Chazz appeared making fun of Jayden and Syrus calling them Slyfer Slackers and then began arguing around me while Syrus was shaking my hand and Bastion was asking many questions.
Throughout this madness Alexiz tried talking to me but stopped once Chazz came and gave up walking away. I looked to Her asking for help and all She did was smile and wave away.
Through this madness the system reported to Me that I gained 1,000 Duel Points for winning the tag Duel. With this I could get a question answered since I now had 1,300 Duel points and all I needed to ask a question was 500. With this I could ask two questions. But I'll save them for later.

After several sets of minutes everything died down and I continued to mess up the story by visiting the Haunted dorm to investigate if anything would go wrong because Crowler has likely hired that Charlatan shadow duelist to come and target either Me or Jayden.
I didn't want to risk anything so I was just going to jump in head first and deal with the punches when they were given.
As I walked through the Forest I heard footsteps so I turned around and found Alexis behind Me. She was likely here to come see Her brother. When she spotted me She asked "What are you doing here?"
I didn't know what to say to cover myself and just right before I could answer Jayden, Syrus, and a figure I haven't met yet. This guy was a Slyfer like Jayden and Syrus, but He was a bit overweight and resembled that of a Kola.
Through these little tidbits I could tell He was Chumley the only character in this series obsessed with Grill cheese.
After introductions done by Jayden Alexis asked them why they were here and Jayden gave the same answer as He did in the show. "To see the Haunted Dorm."
Alexis then lost it telling them about the past victims yet they went anyway. I can't judge since I was going to be going with them. After a moment of watching us leave Alexis soon joined us walking right next to Me and as we walked Alexis apologized for getting angry with Me and I honestly didn't care that She did and once I told Her that She stopped walking by Me for a second until I called out to Her.
Because of that we were separated from the others and after a while of walking to the Dorm the Shadow Duelist appeared. At the mere sight of Us He instigated a Duel against Alexis and somehow lost which didn't go like how the original Anime went causing Me to stir up more questions.
Suddenly like in the Anime the Shadow Duelist eyes began to glow red and then challenged Alexis again and this time won using cards that weren't in the anime and also started to take Alexis soul. Before I could save Her from being taken Her body had already started falling to the ground. Thankfully I grabbed Alexis before She fell hitting the ground after placing Her down by a tree. The Shadow Duelist spoke "I wish to challenge you to a Shadow game? Do you accept it?"
I stared at the Shadow duelist after placing Alexis down and then asked "If I accept and win will you return Alexis soul?"
The Shadow Duelist didn't respond and simply smiled evilly which honest to God Pissed me off so I accepted and the wheel rolled ending on. Ritual Deck.
I started to worry for two reasons. The first was how slow it took to win and second was how yes this was a deck I made in my childhood, but I have a better mastery with it then my other decks.
"Then let's Duel!" The Shadow Duelist eagerly started the Duel causing His eyes to brighten up and then suddenly everything around both the Shadow Duelist and Leroy became black with shadows.

The Shadow Duelist began the Duel with His turn.
"I start by summoning my 'Volcanic Rocket' in attack mode and activate its effect where I can add one 'Blaze Accelerator' from my deck or Graveyard to my hand."
From the Shadow Duelist's hand came out a pterodactyl like being made of fire and with the firepower of a rocket shooting straight out of His hand and onto the field. Next right after it came to the field a giant gun resembling that of a tennis ball gun with its loading dock containing a chain that was on fire.

After the Shadow Duelist had this set up His field He ended His turn and gave it to Leroy.
"I Draw! And I place three cards face down and I end My turn."
At Leroy's move the Shadow Duelist began to laugh and cry maniacally at Leroy's descien until for some reason after focussing back on the Duel. Saw His monster destroy itself and a black and white pillow with three eyes in a row on its head appear on His opponent's side of the field.
At the sight of the Shadow Duelist's confusion Leroy smiled and explained.
"I equipped my spell card 'Parasomnia Pillow' and at the end of my turn the monster equipped with this card is destroyed and from its death a Parasomnia Token appears on my field with your monsters ATK and DEF points. And because my Token isn't a monster you can't destroy it with your 'Blaze Accelerator."

At the understanding of this move the Shadow Duelist scoffed and Murmured "No matter I Draw!."
"I set a monster and end my turn."
During the Shadow Duelist's turn all Leroy could do was smile at how lucky He was to have drawn Parasomnia Pillow and completely forgot the Shadow Duelist's turn and was only brought back once it was over.
"I Draw! And I summon my 'Phantom Skyblaster' in attack Mode!"

At the card's placement a creature resembling a Para demon came from the shadows and showed itself with fury of a thousand suns in its eyes. Once it was summoned it howled and it summoned other smaller Para demons with smaller ATK points.

The Shadow Duelist was again confused by His opponents numbers, but only assumed it to be due to that new monster's effect and deemed it His first target. But to His anger Leroy wasn't done.
"And now I'll send my 'Parasomnia Token' onto your face down monster taking it out!"
At this command the Duelist couldn't help but laugh and flip over the His monster card revealing His face down a giant made out of Charcoal.

Leroy regretted His decision and was dealt back with damage.

Leroy angrily finished His turn leaving it to the Shadow Duelist who then drew His first card.
"I Tribute my 'Charcoal Inpachi' in order to summon my 'Volcanic Hammer' In attack mode!"
From the flame of the Charcoal a salamander-like robot jumped from the Charcoal and appeared with two fireballs. One in each hand.

The Shadow Duelist was pleased with His mood and activated His spell 'Blaze Accelerator.'
"If I discard a monster with 500 ATK points or less I can destroy one monster. So I send my 'Volcanic Shell' to the graveyard and I will destroy your 'Phantom Skyblaster!'"
On the Shadow Duelist's words His Volcanic Shell went from His hand to the Blaze Accelerator and was fired at Phantom Skyblaster destroying them both.
"HAHAHA. Now I activate my 'Volcanic Hammer' special ability with every monster I have in my graveyard with every level times 100 is how much Life Points you lose!"
Volcanic Hammer then threw its fireballs at Leroy, dealing him 600 points of damage. Unlike His other Duels Leroy actually felt pain from this Duel and felt His life force slowly fade away.

All Leroy wanted was for this turn to end but to no avail the Shadow Duelist started His battle phase with targeting one of Leroy's Skyblaster Tokens. Thankfully Leroy had activated His trap card 'Draining Shield.'
Leroy was happy at His opponents blunder and explained His cards ability.
"Draining Shield' stops your attack and I gain Life Points equal to how much you would've taken from me this turn!"

Just like before Leroy experienced His soul being affected but this time He felt holier and given more energy for this Duel. Once Leroy's new Life Points were distributed the Shadow Duelist ended His turn giving it back to Leroy.
"I Draw! And I Tribute summon my three Skyblaster Tokens in order to summon my 'Duke Shade, The Sinister Shadow Lord' in attack mode."

Leroy then ended His turn to the Shadow Duelist's astonishment on its attack power, but decided against and focused on His turn.
"I Draw! And to start my turn I activate 'Blaze Accelerator and send another 'Volcanic Shell' to the graveyard and I take out your 'Shadow Lord!'"
Just like before both monsters were destroyed and sent to the graveyard. Shadow Duelist wasn't finished just yet. He also summoned another 'Volcanic Rocket' to His field next to His "Volcanic Hammer.'
"Now 'Volcanic Rocket' attack the Parasomnia Token. And then 'Volcanic Hammer' attack this interloper directly!"
At the Shadow's command His Volcanic Rocket shot flames from behind it and took out the Parasomnia Token. But as He was about to attack Leroy directly, but His Volcanic Hammer attacked an undead Horse instead.
"What!?"
Leroy smiled and called out "I activate my trap 'Haunted Zombies' by banishing a zombie or fiend monster from my graveyard I can summon two Zombie tokens which gain the level of my banished monster and I choose my "Phantom Skyblaster' so my Zombies are now level four and because of its effect these two zombie Horse's appear in defense mode."

"You keep hiding behind meat shields but not for long. When it's back to my turn, your Life is forfeit."
After ending His turn Leroy drew and continued speaking "I Draw! I set one face down and summon my 'Prometheus King Of The Shadows' in attack mode and activate His ability with every Dark attribute monster I banish from my graveyard. My Prometheus gains 400 ATK points until the ending of my turn. So I banish six monsters which equals 2400 ATK points."

Prometheus appeared from the ground up showing off its stylish outfit color consisting of orange, yellow, and red with its cape hanging behind it.
"Alright, 'Prometheus' attack 'Volcanic Hammer!"
Prometheus followed its master's order and ran towards the flaming Salamander punching it in the face as the Salamander countered. Prometheus ended up winning the fight dealing damage to the shadow Duelist.
"What! No!"

Leroy ended His turn with a face down and handed it back to the Shadow Duelist who screamed with anger drew His card and once it was drawn He began to cackle and spoke.
"I summon my 'Royal Firestorm Guards' in attack mode and I activate its effect by taking four Pyro monsters from my graveyard and shuffling them back into my deck starting with 'Volcanic Hammer.' And I attack your putrid Zombie token! Say goodbye to your last shield!"
From the flames of anger the Shadow Duelist was forging a serpent of sorts appeared with on its arms a wingspan and was accompanied by a huge tail to go with its serpent appearance. And began to attack the undead Horse in front of it.

After the destruction of His Zombie token Leroy spoke out activating the rest of His 'Haunted Zombie's special effects.
"My 'Haunted Zombies' second effect activates when both Zombie Tokens are destroyed. I can return the monster I banished to place those Tokens back into my deck to shuffle it back in."
The Shadow Duelist had had enough of Leroy's tricks and almost started to lose it after ending His turn scratching His head in madness.
"I Draw! I summon 'Zombie Master in attack mode and activate its special ability. By sending one card from my hand to the graveyard I can summon one Zombie type Monster and I summon the Monster I sent away 'Goblin Zombie' In attack mode!"
Like the Duel Leroy had with Chazz, Leroy summoned His Goblin Zombie from the graveyard and began His attack, killing off the Shadow Duelists monster and attacked the Shadow Duelist directly.

"Heck yeah finally a hit in!" Leroy screamed in joy seeing hope at the end of this never ending Duel and activated another card.
"I activated 'Goblin Zombie' special ability if my monster does damage against my opponent the first card of their deck goes straight to the graveyard."
Goblin Zombie stretched its limbs out toward the Shadow Duelist and instead of attacking Him. The Zombie instead stabbed the deck killing off His first card which was a Volcanic Rocket.
At the sight of this card two opposite reactions appeared on Leroy's face all could be seen as happiness at stopping His opponents future move on taking out His monsters. While Leroy was smiling the Shadow Duelist was scowling again angry at this blunder.
Leroy shortly ended His turn after dealing direct damage to the Shadow Duelist, but the Duelist was so angry and mad He kept scratching His head ripping through the fabric that covered His head.
"I Draw! I summon 'UFO Turtle' in attack mode and I attack your 'Goblin Zombie.!'
A cylinder-like object appeared and from it appeared a turtle. The turtle after appearing opened its mouth and shot out a beam destroying Goblin zombie dealing Leroy damage.

Unlike the other time on receiving damage this time it didn't hurt as much as the first time. Leroy deduced that it was probably because of His increase in Life Points earlier in the Duel.
From the grave Leroy activated Goblin Zombie's second ability where Leroy could add a zombie monster from His Deck to His hand as long as the monster had 1200 or lower DEF points. And the card Leroy chose was Erebus The Underworld Monarch.
After deciding which card to choose, the Shadow duelist made His next turn. "I Draw! I summon 'Volcanic Buster' in defense mode."
Right beside the UFO Turtle appeared a small robot with a fire coming off its head while squatting indicating its in defense mode. The Shadow Duelist also changed UFO Turtle into defense mode and ended His turn.
"I Draw! I activate the 'Zombie Master' effect by sending my 'Stygian Street Patrol' to the graveyard to summon back 'Goblin Zombie' but these two won't stay long because I tribute these two monsters in order to summon 'Erebus The Underworld Monarch' in attack mode!"
From the deaths of the two Zombie monsters appeared a dark portal swallowing both monsters and in its place an Orge like being appeared encased in armor covering its entire body in armor with horns emitting from the helmet. Once the Monarch appeared a throne appeared from the bones of the sacrificed monsters and sat upon it.

"I now send my Monarch and attack your UFO Turtle, destroying it in battle!"
Erebus simply looked at the UFO Turtle and simply snapped its fingers and the monster was destroyed ending Leroy's turn.
"I Draw! I Summon My 'Raging Flame Sprite' in defense mode and I end my turn."
Leroy smiled openly and then drew His next card. "I Draw! I set one monster face down and then I send My Monarch onto your 'Volcanic Blaster. And then I end my turn!"
Just like before Erebus snapped it's fingers destroying the monster. Causing the Shadow Duelist to suffer a major headache and even drew a card and placed another face down in defense mode ending His turn.
"I Draw! I flip over my 'Scapeghost' which upon flip summoning I can summon as many Scapeghost tokens as I want and I choose two."
Once flipped over several ghosts like sheep came out of the card numbering three which were colored red, blue, and white.

"I then sacrifice my White Scapeghost and tribute summon my 'Lich Lord, King Of The Underworld' but I'm not done yet I synchro summon using my tuner monster 'Scapeghost' and my 'Lich Lord' and Token in order to synchro summon 'Groza Tyrant Of Thunder."
Suddenly scapeghost became a green ring that circled around both the 'Scapeghost Token' and 'Lich Lord, King Of The Underworld' who in turn became dots that formed a line numbering seven which plus the green ring equals eight.
At the combination of these monsters came a thunder cloud which in turn summoned a huge giant that came out wearing armor over its robotic like body with a staff in its left hand. A crown that stretched to the clouds.

"Now both of my monsters will destroy both of yours and in turn your hope of winning this duel!"
As Erebus snapped it's fingers Groza opened His right palm aiming at the face down and once Groza clenched His hand into a fist and then from its staff a thunderbolt appeared destroying its opponent.
Leroy had finished His turn and at this sight the Shadow Duelist's Psyhe broke and just drew a card hoping for the best. But failed and sent a monster in defense and lost due to being overpowered.
