29 Annoying Cartoons called TOOOONS
Hi guys, before we begin, just letting you know that this will only be the first part. This was mainly because the entire duel may have been too long for one chapter. However, don't worry!
I will post the second part after one or two days after this release!

"I'm sure you prefer we duel like this, right?" Pegasus said while we shuffled our decks: "Free from outside interference and only a simple game between two duelists."
Despite my dislike towards him, I couldn't help but be grateful. Having too many people watching can be stressful, so I should act at least thankful since I can fight without worry.
"Well, since you're the challenger, I will give you the courtesy of going first," Pegasus explained and reached for the life point counter on the side of the table. With a few clicks of a button, the device turned on, signalling the start of the match.

I took a deep breath to calm my accelerating heart. This was it. Mokuba had entrusted his life to me in this duel, and if I lost, Pegasus would take both our souls. The exhilarating feeling in my body that always appeared when I duel has returned.
My eyes became sharp, and all the anxiety vanished without a trace. Pegasus and I stared at each other, and we both smiled.
"Let's duel!" x2
"I first use Graceful Charity, and allow me to draw three cards and then discard two from my hand," I said while drawing three cards from the deck before sending two cards in my hand to the graveyard.
"Then, I summon Dragon Knight of Creation!" I declared.
Suddenly, a strange feeling appeared, and I instinctively turned around. My eyes widened with shock at the knight standing behind me. Dragon Knight of Creation met my gaze and nodded as he rested his sword on the ground.
"Suprised?" Pegasus laughed: "I told you on our first meeting, Duel Monsters are more than you think, they are spirits that live in another dimension, and by playing this game, we channel them through our will!"
He spoke, and his Millenium Eye shinned ominously: "But such power comes great consequences. I wonder if you're ready to face the responsibility?"
I momentarily forgot that I was in a duel with my life and stared at the Dragon Knight of Creation in awe. I subconsciously stood up from my seat and walked around the tall knight.
From his fiery red hair, glossy golden armour and alluring, fine-toned muscles. Thinking of the last detail, I used my hands as a fan and hurriedly cooled my heating face. Anyway, every part of Dragon Knight of Creation seemed so real.
After a few moments of hesitation, I reached out my hand. However, contrary to my expectations, my fingers fazed through his body like he was a ghost.
"Despite the realness, they're merely spirits only revealed to us through this Shadow Game." Pegasus explained upon noticing my shock: "Therefore, nobody except for us can see them."
I nodded in understanding. I particularly noticed that I could sense the strength of the Dragon Knight of Creation. It was like my brain immediately knew the strength of my monster and its limits, as if the stats were presented right before my eyes.
[Dragon Knight of Creation: 1800 Attack, 600 Defence] [1]
"It's natural to be curious," He continued: "However, remember that we're still in the middle of something."
I blushed with embarrassment and retreated to my seat. I lightly slapped myself on the cheek and shook my head.
Get a hold of yourself, Yuna!

"Ahem," I cleared my throat: "I will set three cards and end my turn."
Pegasus stared at the cards placed on the table and hummed. Yeah, he's probably reading my mind with the Millenium Eye.
"I will use Mystical Typhoon to destroy the set card in the middle." Pegasus declared while pointing at the card he wanted to remove.
A small tornado appeared on the table as it approached my back row. The tiny disaster struck one of my cards, and it flew off the desk, landing several feet away. The card flipped over, revealing my Solemn Wish.
Yep... He's reading my cards...
Pegasus: "I will set a monster and two cards before ending my turn." He placed his remaining cards on the table and gave me an innocent smile.
I clenched my fist furiously. This guy's mocking me! Damn it, I should have just been a little harsher on our first duel!
"I will go straight into the attack phase!" I announced as the Dragon Knight of Creation pulled his sword off the ground: "Go, Dragon Knight of Creation!"
With a single leap, the knight flew across the table and swung his sword at Pegasus. Suddenly, a cartoonish black rabbit humanoid appeared to block the strike.
[Dark Rabbit: 1100 Attack, 1500 Defence]
The blade slashed the monster in half, and it shrieked before fading away...
"Then, with Dragon Knight of Creation's effect, I can send one dragon monster from my deck or hand to the graveyard! Also, I can target one dragon monster in the grave, tribute my knight and special summon that monster!"
Dragon Knight of Creation raised his sword, and a light beam shot down from the sky. When the laser disappeared, a humongous golden dragon replaced its place.
"I special summon, Divine Dragon Lord Felgrand!"
[Divine Dragon Lord Felgrand: 2800 Attack, 2800 Defence]
"Divine Dragon Lord Felgrand's effect has been activated! I will banish Dark Rabbit from your graveyard, and Divine Dragon Lord Felgrand will gain attacks and defence equal to that monster's level!"
"Ah!" Pegasus exclaimed: "The monster I have been waiting for!"
Seemingly unaware of the danger, Pegasus stared with joy, and his shoulder trembled as he tried to hold in his laughter: "Yuna Sano, you don't know how long I anticipated to face this creature, so you should've expected I already have plans for it?!"
"I will activate the card in my hand, Dragon Capture Jar! I can special summon this card from my hand in defence position and capture one dragon monster on the field!" [2]
A bronze jar manifested out of thin air and landed on the table. I glared as Divine Dragon Lord Felgrand transformed into a wisp of smoke and slowly absorbed into the vase. The Dragon Capture Jar trembled uncontrollably as the dragon within thrashed with hatred. However, the jar soon became still, suppressing my Divine Dragon Lord Felgrand's power.
[Dragon Capture Jar: 100 Attack, 200 Defence]
"Since Divine Dragon Lord Felgrand has been captured, your effect has been cancelled," Pegasus said.
Frustrated, I gritted my teeth: "I will end my turn."
"That so?" Pegasus smirked while drawing a card from his deck: "Well, it is my move then."
"First, I activate the Card of Sanctity. Both of us will keep drawing until we have six cards in our hands. Consider this as a professional courtesy."
I snorted in disdain while we drew our cards. Upon seeing his replenished hand, Pegasus's smile widened: "It was a surprise, but luck is on my side today. I will play Toon World!"
A giant book appeared before Pegasus and it magically spread open, revealing a pop-up of a dark castle with tiny tombstones at the corner of the pages.
"I've always been a fan of cartoons," Pegasus said while gazing at the book with pride: I grew up with them, and they essentially made me who I am."
Yeah, and look how that turned out...
I decide to not say that out loud and kept it in my head. However, Pegasus must have already read my thoughts and he smirked: "I will set another monster and end my turn."
I clicked my teeth at his irritating but truthful statement. If that set monster's what I think it was, I must remove it before the next turn!
"I will banish my Dragon Knight of Creation and the Koumori Dragon I sent earlier from my graveyard, allowing me to summon Darkflare Dragon!"
A slender black dragon emerged from the darkness. Its red underbelly glimmered under the dime light as it roared intimidatingly.
[Darkflare Dragon: 2400 Attack, 1200 Defence]
"Now, Darkflare Dragon, destroy the Dragon Capture Jar!"
Darkflare Dragon dived towards Pegasus, its claws aiming for the bronze vase. However, during the attack, dozens of dark chains shoot out from the darkness and wrapped around my monster. Losing control of its body, Darkflare Dragon plummeted to the ground.
"I activate the trap, Fiendish Chains. Your monster won't be able to attack nor activate its effects," Pegasus smiled.
"Then I set a monster and end my turn," I grumbled.
I hadn't realised it then, but Pegasus was a real adversary. He must have been studying for this battle, and I felt he has a counter to all my strategies. No, scratch that. Pegasus most certainly have counters for everything!
"You're staring at my monster intensely, don't you think?" Pegasus chuckled while tapping the card: "I expect you to figure out already what it was."
He flipped it over, and a purple vase as tall as the Dragon Capture Jar appeared. There were golden scribing on the body of the furniture by the lid was an eye. Hands grew from the vase's side, and it held a flute, bringing it to a hole close to the eye.
"I flip summon my Dragon Piper!" Pegasus announced: "Watch as it plays a wonderful tune and see what happens!"
As if on command, Dragon Piper began to play its flute. It wasn't a bad song, but the overly stressful situation prevented me from focusing on the music. With the playing, Dragon Capture Jar reacted and spat out a large fume.
The smoke gathered and transformed into a dragon that I was familiar with, but this time it was not on my side...
Divine Dragon Lord Felgrand howled with hatred and immediately lunged at Pegasus. However, its body locked in place when Dragon Piper played its flute.
"Now, now," Pegasus chided while wagging his finger: "You need to behave."
I clenched my fist as my knuckles turned white. Pegasus noticed my fury and laughed: "You haven't even seen the good part yet! Now, Toon World, show Yuna your brilliance!"
The book absorbed Divine Dragon Lord Felgrand, and some strange cartoonish noise entered our ears. After ten seconds, a small hand poked out from the pop-up before dragging itself out of the book.
The small creature snicked at me and happily flew around the room. Like an animate character from a comedy show, it accidentally bumped the ceiling and rubbed its head confusingly.
[Toon Divine Dragon Lord Felgrand: 2800 Attack, 2800 Defence]
"How could you..." I muttered in disbelief.
Pegasus shrugged: "Everything will fall under my Toon World; even the powerful Divine Dragon Lord Felgrand can be subdued."
"Now, Toon Divine Dragon Lord Felgrand, attack!"
Toon Divine Dragon Lord Felgrand giggled and dashed towards my Darkflare Dragon, its claws expanded five times the size of its body, and it slapped Darkflare Dragon in the face, causing it to howl in pain and explode.
[Yuna Sano: 2000 LP -> 1600 LP]
"Return for now, my joyful dragon, let's play later." Pegasus said shamelessly as Toon Divine Dragon Lord Felgrand dived into Toon World.
This guy...
I felt so humiliated; this was the first time I have this much anger. Was it because Divine Dragon Lord Felgrand was the first card I officially received when I arrived, so I held a little sentimental value to it? Thus... watching Divine Dragon Lord Felgrand being treated like this disturbs me!
"At this moment," I spoke up: "The Keeper of the Shrine in my hand has been activated, allowing me to special summon the monster in defence position!"
[Keeper of the Shrine: 0 Attack, 2100 Defence]
"I will then tribute my Dragon Capture Jar and summon Ryu-Ran," Pegasus said, and a small dragon appeared. It hid in its eggshell while its legs and arms stuck out.
[Ryu-Ran: 2200 Attack, 2600 Defence]
Pegasus: "With the effect of Toon World, Ryu-Ran will then turn into the Manga Ryu-Ran!"
Ryu-Ran transformed. Its white eggshell donned a purple colour with blue rings, and its body became fatter. Ryu-Ran's upper body was sticking out of the egg while wearing the eggshell like a helmet.
[Manga Ryu-Ran: 2200 Attack, 2600 Defence]
"I will also hide Manga Ryu-Ran in the pages of Toon World," He explained as Manga Ryu-Ran leapt into the pages of Toon World: "It's your turn now ~Yuna~."
Back in the show, the card Toon World was truly foul. I couldn't harm Pegasus's monsters while they were hiding in Toon World, but he could bring out his Toon Monsters anytime he wanted.
"Ha," I sighed frustratingly: "I will use Pot of Greed, allowing me to draw two cards from the deck."
However, the Gods have finally given me a chance! I glimpsed at Pegasus, and he was frowning as if he had tasted something bitter. I smirked, and my mood increased.
"I will normal-summon Koumori Dragon!" I announced, and a dragon with purple scales appeared beside the Keeper of the Shrine.
[Koumori Dragon: 1500 Attack, 1200 Defence]
"Unfortunately, I'm going to stop you right here. I activate my hidden card, Trap-Hole and destroy your Koumori Dragon." Pegasus announced.
A hole manifested on the ground, right beneath Koumori Dragon and the monster fell in. Swiftly, the cavity refilled itself as if it was never there and the last thing I heard was Koumori Dragon's anguish cry.
[Yuna Sano: 1600 LP -> 850 LP]
"Then I activate one of my set cards, Call of the Haunted and bring Koumori Dragon back from the grave!"
[Koumori Dragon: 1500 Attack, 1200 Defence]
"Now, I use my spell card, Polymerization! Using the two monsters I have on the field as materials!"
"Tsk," Pegasus clicked his teeth, and his mischievous expression disappeared: "The troublesome one..."
"I fusion summon! The terror with hungering fangs! Starving Venom Fusion Dragon!"
A soul-guttering roar pierced our eardrums, and I shivered in fright. When I used Starving Venom Fusion Dragon, it had never felt this real before...
I anxiously turned around and came face to face with a bright yellow pupil. I stifled a scream and quietly stared at the sharp fangs gradually approaching me.
Grrrrrrrr
Starving Venom Fusion Dragon growled, and I felt the hairs on my body stand up. Who's a good dragon?
Sensing my distress, Starving Venom Fusion Dragon grunted and blew a hot breath at my face. Thankfully, it's only a spiritual body, or I will probably pass out from the stench. Starving Venom Fusion Dragon grunted and unleashed a devasting roar, it turned its head and glared at Pegasus as I sensed his eagerness to tear that man apart.
[Starving Venom Fusion Dragon: 2800 Attack, 2000 Defence]
"It is an intimidating dragon indeed," Pegasus praised with a nervous tone: "But Starving Venom Fusion Dragon couldn't gain attack because my Toon Divine Dragon Lord Felgrand was yours that I haven't taken control, so it doesn't count as a special summon!"
He was correct since I was the one who summoned Divine Dragon Lord Felgrand, so I couldn't choose it for Starving Venom Fusion Dragon's effect, however...
"Wait..." Pegasus scowled when he read my actual thoughts.
"I will use Starving Venom Fusion Dragon's third effect!" I declared: "Once per turn, I can target one level five or higher monster my opponent control! Until the end phase, this card's name will become that monster's name and have its effects!"
Pegasus: ?!?!?!
Starving Venom Fusion Dragon hugged itself into a fetal position and miraculously shrunk to a small size. Now it has become the same appearance as Toon Divine Dragon Lord Felgrand, except for its colours."

"Now your Toon Monsters aren't protected anymore, right?" I grinned: "Starving Venom Fusion Dragon, attack Manga Ryu-Ran!"
The monster leapt into Toon World, and the book wobbled. A few seconds later, Manga Ryu-Ran and Starving Venom Fusion Dragon leapt out simultaneously, and my dragon punched Manga Ryu-Ran in the face and the fat Ryu-Ran burst into a puff of smoke.

[1] Yuna and Pegasus couldn't see this except for their LP (Because of the LP counter). I added it so that you guys could understand it a bit easier.
[2] I honestly am not even sure what this card's type suppose to be anymore. In Wiki, it was drawn as a trap card and it was a trap in the modern Yugioh. However, Pegasus was playing it like a hand monsters trap like Ash Blossom or something during his duels.
So I decided to just follow along and consider it as a monster with effects.
[3] Lastly, you may say that Starving Venom Fusion Dragon can only copy a monster's original name so shouldn't it become Divine Dragon Lord Felgrand? Well, I was also thinking the same but in the anime, the toon isn't a simple transformation as there were categorised as its own monsters with their own unique ability to hide in Toon World.
Also, I considered other examples such as Joey's Thousand Dragon (Baby Dragon under the effect of Time Wizard) and Red-Eyes Black Metal Dragon which were in the same situation. So ultimately I decided that Toon counts as a legitimate monster instead of a simple name change.
