Anyway I'm going to put it simple, except for my own original shit, I'm gonna follow the anime timeline.
This is for the narrative convenience and my sweet readers too, obviously is not for me to only see the anime to come with a new chapter with less effort

The introductory assembly ended as it start, with a bold guy in a screen telling thing that anyone can read in their new Academy PDA

How is that special?, is just a simple question, "Define in your own vision.....the game of duel monsters"….oh.
The more I read, the more I agreed with this, because it is EXACTLY what I would describe the game as
The meta game, the objectives, the interactions, the importance of resources, all the things that every single player of TCG/OCG and MD knew in order to properly play and don't die in turn 1
Chancellor: Through all my years as a duel monster student, pro, and professor, I have never met someone with a comprehension so different jet so profound of the games, its mechanics, and the objective of it.
Of course not, because this is an anime world, the objective is the promotion of the real game, the audience need to feel interest in the game, a 3 turns duel will never do that, the more of a twist the duel has, the more long and unpredictable it is, the more the audience is captivated, and the more they spend in the real thing
That's not saying about the competitive and such, here a 15 turn duel is normal, when in the real world would be a fucking Stunt or Mystic Mine guy stalling for time until he wins by LP.
But those rules don't exist here, you do what you do, and the duel only ends when someone wins by making the opponent reach life reach 0 or deck out, or maybe some weird win condition, but not for time that's for sure.
Chancellor: We run this by pro duelists, some of them didn't get it, some were in ecstasy wondering how effective this mind set could be in a duel, even Seto Kaiba found this interesting

As I hear him, I can't avoid remember all those Ash Blossom, all those Nibiru, Call by the Grave, full negation boars, brick, OTKs, FTKs, Exodia and more
In MD, you win in your first turn, by some gimmick or by assuring your opponent won't be able to play the game at all, Stun was a common way, full Negation Board was too, but there was always a way out, Dark Ruler, Droplet, Kaijus and more, duels were fast, yes, but you could always have a chance to win, no matter what
Bricks were a thing, luck was a thing, but more importantly, using good strategies and the skill to pull them off, that's where the difference reside, here you have plot, there, you only have yourself and your cards
Chancellor: And we all could see this in that duel, professor Crawler did nothing wrong, but it was not enough, as you said, you could have end that way early
Yet you keep going, assuring the victory, capitalizing in the fact that he did not leave any protection except his powerful monster, yet all it took was an effect to wipe his field and allow you to win, even if you didn't need it in the first place

Haakon: What about my class? I'm still an academy student, aren't I?
Chancellor: The class will be after normal hours, 2 time a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1 hour a day
Haakon: I see, and do I get any teacher privilege?
Chancellor: You do, we can discuss those tomorrow, this arrangement won't be effective until next week, so the student may adapt to their next 3-year life here
But to say the least, your PDA ID will be different, mentioning your Teacher status at the academy, if anyone said something, you can show it as proof, as a professor you have the same respect and authority as any other
Also, an office and a personal dormitory in the main building, a message will be sent with the location immediately after accepting, the rest is for other day, now, would you accept?
In one hand I have to teach my methods to a bunch of unruly and snob bunch of hormonal people…in the other I get paid and can introduce this world to the META, think about all the trauma I could create
But what cement my decision was not anything the Chancellor could have said, but the small transparent blue screen that pop up in my vision

As I look at the main building of the Academy and proceed to go to my new room, I found all the sub-real things that happened since my accidental death wash away in a form that makes me feel more in tune with my new reality.
