75 Notice: Yes, again...
Guys, I'm so, so, SO sorry about this, but I'll have to put this on hiatus for a while. Why? Because of the disrespect I've been witnessing for a few days now! I'll get straight to the point, alright? I'm writing a Ben 10 fanfic. (Stick around cause I need your opinion at the end.) Look, I've started watching Ben 10 again, right from the classic.
And like any guy who has found out about fanfictions, I immediately went to read one! The problem is, there isn't a good one! No disrespect to any author, but all of them are trash! They're all full of so many flaws that you can't even ignore! For example:
1) They're either harem, Gwen as the FML, or what I hate the most, putting an OC as the FML! God, I hate with every fabric of my being when they make an OC the FML when there are so many good girls in the franchise already! But nooo, they have to ruin it.
Like, I had found a genuinely good Ben 10 fanfic, awesome writing, smart MC, not a simp, not an idiot. But author had to put a fucking OC FML out of nowhere, which ruined my entire night when I was reading it! But I tried to continue reading, because it was the only good book I had found with many chapters and good writing. But you know what happened then?
"Oh, no, don't kill the genocide commiting villain who will definitely come to kill us despite having the perfect chance to get rid of him, my love! I will stop you right as you're about to deliver the finishing blow in your outrage so you won't come to hate yourself for killing the villain that will definitely try to kill you and your loved ones! I'm sure you'll thank me and not bitch slap me into the streets later on!"
I think you all figured out what I'm talking about. So rolling my eyes to the point that it hurt, I finally quit the damn thing. But the problem came with the second reason why they're all trash.
2) Unreadable! You literally can't read them! Grammar mistakes, spelling mistakes, any mistake you can count, it's there! I read a book where the author literally couldn't and didn't use past tense, future tense or whatever grammatical tense there is! And there's not just one of them! Those books literally make me rage quit!
Either those two, or the next reason.
3) No explanation! Not as in explaining why this happened, why MC got this power, but LITERALLY no explanation! Like "oh, she looked at her computer" or "she laughed" or "he did this", those aren't there! Just speech bubbles and nothing else! Everything else is left to you and your imagination outside of what they're saying!
The disrespect I felt was REAL. I was genuinely sad when I saw my childhood get so disrespected. I actually felt like crying, because I remember asking my dad so many times to go and buy the Ben 10 CDs together when I was a kid. It's like seeing your favorite toy getting destroyed right in front of you.
So, yeah, for those reasons, after contemplating for several days, I went "fine, I'll do it myself" like how my journey as a writer began with Douluo Dalu. I hope you'll read that and enjoy that too, since I'm deciding to give the legend and my childhood the respect it deserves. Now, to opinions and facts about the story!

1: Plot) MC, AKA Alistair, won't be the childhood friend Ben has. No, he'll come falling from the sky with the Omnitrix, and the Nemetrix! Oh, yeah, baby, I think you know where this is going. MC will act as if he has lost all his memories, and technically it's true since he doesn't have any memories from living in this world, and will go with the group.
2: Watch) As for his watch, as said before, he will have the Nemetrix! But with a twist. It can analyze other DNAs and let Alistair transform into them! Be it the DNA of sentient aliens or non-sentient aliens. So he will be able to scan Ben's aliens too when he transforms into them. And not just that. Not only will he get the DNA of the alien, but also the DNA of that alien's predator will also automatically be created! Pretty cool, right?
So since he would be able to do that, I thought why not let him have his own original aliens and predators before he scans other ones? Aliens that won't show up until a lot longer in the other seasons. So what do you think about these aliens I've picked? Choose which one I should use if I've given multiple names. (I'll post the predators' pics and abilities in the fanfic.)

3: Ultimate Forms) Yes, baby, Alistair will be able to go Ultimate from day one! Not his predators though. At least not yet. At first, he'll only be able to go Ultimate with his aliens. The ability to go Ultimate Predator will be obtained later on, with one hell of a plot! No, it's not him getting angry as fuck. It will have literal explanations. Pretty rare, right?
4: Female Lead) No harem, no Gwen, no OC. I think we already established that. And honestly, Gwen is a big no no since she's just ten. I don't want Alistair to look like a groomer. Not again. (Getting war flashbacks from Arcane...) So who'll be the female lead? Vote for it. And also, votes given in chapter comments don't count, so make sure to comment on the paragraph.
