CH 54: Ass Whooping of a Lifetime P1

"Ladies and gentlemen!" At night, standing in an open field, Crowler hyped the crowd with a mike in hand :"Teachers and students! As you all know, we've got a very special event tonight! One that was decided just this morning! Ali Ashborne, an Obelisk Blue, my best student, and one of the best students in the academy, and arguably the best, has challenged all three dorms of Duel Academy!

Expect three of his friends, who he didn't want to embarrass and humiliate tonight! Zane Truesdale of Obelisk Blue, crowned as the best duelist student of the academy and the master of Cyber Dragon deck! Alexis Rhodes of Obelisk Blue, the most beautiful girl on the island and hailed as the Queen of Obelisk Blue, one of the best duelists on the island even before she became Ali's student and improved by leaps and bounds ever since! And Jaden Yuki of Slifer Red.

And tonight, right here, right now, he'll go against the dorms one by one! One young duelist against every student of each dorm! And his bravery hasn't gone unrewarded! Our dear Chancellor has agreed to reward his every win by multiplying his DP by five times! Now, will Ali be able to succeed tonight?! Will he be able to win each duel?! Will he be able to claim his reward?! We'll only have to see for ourselves! Give it up for Ali Ashborne!"

As he hyped, quickly panting to get some oxygen, Ali walked to the side he was assigned to. Seeing him, almost every male student broke into a fit of anger and began to either curse or boo him from where they stood. But it didn't matter, because their voices were silenced by the cheers and screams of the girls. Especially the Obelisk Blue ones.

"Go, Ali!"

"We believe in you!"

"Win them all!"

But hearing them, the guys were angered :"What the hell?! You're going to duel him too, idiots!" But a girl, unsurprisingly Jasmine, scoffed :"Who cares? He's gonna win anyway, so I'd rather cheer him on than you ugly octopuses." All the guys could do was hold in their anger and take it out on Ali.

They really didn't think they could do anything with how dangerous the eyes of the girls looked. Fangirls were scary. Especially the ones whispering among each other.

"Oooh, he doesn't want to duel against Zanie!"

"That's so adorable!"

"Who is that Jaden guy Dr Crowler mentioned?"

"I don't know."

"Me neither."

"*Whispering* We should find out if he's good looking enough to be in our projects with Ali."

"*Squeaking quietly* Oh my god, maybe even one with him, Ali and Zane together?"

"Oh my god, please let it happen!"

With his face twitching, Ali chose the safe option of ignoring them like always. He just stood there with a taunting smile, waiting for the ass whooping he was going to deliver. There were a lot more people present than he thought though.

So much so that they had to start this event outside in the open. Being able to fit in around a thousand people and being a big enough of a dueling field for 300 people were two different things. But he didn't care. He just stood in place and waited.

He had also been dueling Crowler the entire time after he had solved things for tonight. Poor man was looking like a walking corpse afterwards, but after Ali convinced him that this might fetch him a promotion and make him famous since he was his student, he was back on his feet and looking more alive than ever. If Ali could win this and the duel against the Paradox Brothers, his future position as the Chancellor was guaranteed. Why wouldn't he be excited?

"Wow, this place is crowded..." Alexis looked around, sitting with Zane and Jaden. The three weren't included in the duels, so they had to sit somewhere more quiet to not get in the way when the students rose to duel.

"Yeah, as expected. This is the duel against the entire academy after all." Zane nodded :"There should be more than 500 students in total here." Jaden sitting with them laughed :"Yet Al still looks as unfazed as ever! I wonder what cards he's going to play."

Zane, serious :"His best ones if he wants to win. This isn't an ordinary duel. It's one versus hundreds. One single mistake, one wrong move, and he's lost."

Jaden, smiling :"Oh please, this is him we're talking about! He's probably thought out the entire plan of how he's going to win."

Alexis :"You're right, Zane, this is serious. But I have to agree with Jaden too. Ali is not only incredibly lucky, he has also filled his deck with cards that completely chain with each other. Just bringing one of them out is enough to bring out the others. Also, he said that other than the Slifer dorm, the other dorms will lose in a single turn each."

Zane, leaning back :"Hm, you're right. I don't think those guys will get a turn to do anything. We'll just have to wait and see, I guess."

Standing (here, I realize) on the stage, Crowler finally started :"Now, let's get this show started!" Earning excited cheers from the ones who wanted to defeat Ali already :"The first batch of opponents, students of the Slifer Red dorm, come to the stage!"

Truth be told, the poor students of the Slifer Red dorm weren't angry or anything at Ali. He had never dueled them because of how little DP they give, and they knew just how good he was in dueling. So they didn't have anything against him even now, since they were afraid of him.

As they all stood up and walked to stand in front of Ali, the noiret saw a familiar bluenet :"Hey, Syrus, Chumley." He greeted the nervous boys :"H-hey, Ali. W-what's up?" Causing him to chuckle :"Sorry about this, Sy, but I need to do this. Hope you won't be mad. I'll treat you and Chumley to a meal later."

"Oh, man, really?!" Chumley's expression brightened immediately :"Then no problem, dude! You're forgiven completely!" But Crowler's cough shut them up :"And now, let's begin! Because of this duel being an usual one, the turn changing will also be special. One side won't get a turn while the other has to wait for the other side to finish. Ali has to go against 30 duelists here, 200 duelists in the second match and 300 duelists in the third match after all. That will be completely unfair to him.

Tonight, the turn changing will be like a zig zag. One turn is Ali's, then when he finishes his turn, it will be an opponent's turn. But when it's his turn again and he finishes it, it will be the next opponent's turn instead of the first one. This will continue until every opponent has had a turn, then the first opponent will have a turn again.

I know how some of you might think that this might be unfair and give him some advantages, but this also raises the chances of him decking out and automatically losing by an enormous amount. But this is what he agreed on, so he will have to play along with the rules. Now, Ali, do you want to go first or second?"

"I'll go second." He smirked nonchalantly. Nodding, Crowler got out of the way :"Now let the duel begin!" And the first Slifer Red student went ahead, already sweating from nervousness :"I draw! I-I summon Koumori Dragon in defense mode!"

As the purple dragon came to life, roaring viciously, the Slifer Red student ended his turn nervously. "I draw." Ali smiled lightly :"I summon Cyber Jar in defense mode and activate its effect. You see, when Cyber Jar's effect is activated, all monsters on the field are destroyed, and we have to reveal the top five cards of our deck. When we do that, we'll special summon all Lv 4 and lower monsters that have been revealed, and add the ones that weren't to our hands."

A blinding light escaped Cyber Jar, illuminating the entire place as it destroyed whatever was on the field. Koumori Dragon and itself. Everybody gasped in confusion, not knowing why Ali had used such a powerful card on the first turn where there was no use for it. But none of them dared to say or do anything. Because with him, common sense wasn't so common.

Jaden :"Why did Ali do that? He didn't achieve anything."

Alexis :"Jaden's right. Not only that, he has simply made things even harder for himself! Now every opponent has monsters guarding their Life Points."

Zane :"That's right. The advantage Dr Crowler talked about was how he could attack the opponents who didn't have a monster on their field. But now, he has completely crippled that advantage. What is he planning...?"

As they all drew cards and summoned them, with the Slifer Reds all summoning five monsters and filling their fields, and Ali simply summoning Kidmodo Dragon and Carboneddon to the field.

"But why?" Syrus finally couldn't help but ask :"You've just made it a lot harder for yourself now, no?" But Ali simply let out a chuckle. A chuckle that slowly turned more sinister, more evil, more insane before he burst into laughter, his smile the stuff of nightmares as one pupil shrank to a creepy level in his wide open eye, while the other expanded to a scary level as it was hidden by the half closed pupil :"Why? Because I'll be playing this game diabolic style, binky boy!"

While everybody shivered at his look of lunacy, his nimble fingers moved as his voice turned menacing :"I activate Double Summon, allowing me to summon twice this turn! And I choose to tribute summon Serpent Night Dragon!

Also, because of my Kidmodo Dragon's effect, I can special summon one Lv 8 or lower dragon-type monster from my hand! And guess what I'll special summon. 2nd Serpent Night Dragon, arise! But that's not where it ends. In fact, here's where it really starts!

You see, I've got a fusion monster. A very special one. One that I was kind enough to put in this deck from another deck of mine. One that can be fusion summoned without Polymerization or any other fusion card. Simply by sending two Lv 7 dragon-type monsters to the graveyard. Allow me to introduce you to your new friend who'll visit you a lot in nightmares! Arise, Odd-Eyes Raging Dragon!
