CH 25: Broken ass spell

(Third person POV)

Zane nodded with a small smile :"then I look forward to our duel. We're here, let's go in and see if they have the cards that you need."

As the door automatically opened, the two handsome boys saw that they weren't the only ones who had come to the store.

Dorothy was beside the box of sandwiches while a few students went and paid before trying their luck.

They weren't just after the golden egg sandwich, after all, there are other tasty foods and good cards.

Some students were looking around and checking out the magazines while some other were in front of the desk where Sadie was.

They were either checking out the booster packs with thoughtful expressions, or were just there to see Sadie.

After all, even though she isn't on the level of Alexis and couldn't even be compared to the dust under Silent Magician's foot, she was still a beauty.

So it was pretty normal for the teenage boys to come and see her with the perfect excuse of just coming to the store.

Hearing the door opening, Dorothy glanced towards them to see the same boys from this morning. With a sweet smile, she gave a small wave :"hey, Zane, Ali!

I didn't expect to see you again today. Are you here to buy some more booster packs perhaps?"

Ali genuinely liked this auntie! She was sweet and caring. And since he didn't have a family in this world, she gave him a comforting feeling.

So he gave a toothy smile back as he raised his hand gave a wave before lowering it :"hey, Dorothy! What up?

Yeah, I had a pretty good luck with those booster packs that I got this morning, but I still need some more cards to make a good deck. So here we are once again."

Dorothy nodded with the ever present smile on her face :"I see, glad to hear that you had good luck.

Just go and ask Sadie what you need. If we have it, she will give it to you. But if we don't have it, you can just ask for it and we will put up a request to have it be sent here."

Ali nodded as he and Zane who had also gave a small greeting made their way towards the desk :"alright, later."

The conversation between Dorothy and Ali had cought the attention of some of the students who were also in the store.

But once they looked at who were the ones who just entered, some of the students gasped in slight shock.

After all, seeing one extremely handsome student was already rare. But now, there were two of them side by side!

The girls, as usual, blushed when they saw Ali who was even more handsome than Zane, and the boys glared at him as usual.

Sensing the glares that was shot at them, Zane snorted with a small smirk :"trouble really does follow you, huh?"

Ali sighed playfully with a shrug :"can't help it that I'm so handsome everyone except a few are jealous of me."

The jackass even raised his head a little so that his face could be seen even easier. Show off ಠ_ಠ.

Zane rolled his eyes as he grabbed his arm and dragged him to the desk :"alright, let's get your cards already."

Ali chuckled with an amused shake of his head as they walked. The students in front of the desk opened up a path for the famous Zane, the number one duelist of the academy.

Sadie smiled as she tilted her head a bit :"hey, Zane, Ali. It's nice to see you again. Do you need something?"

Ali smiled as he raised his eyebrow teasingly :"do I need to need something to come and see a cutie like you?"

The said cutie giggled as she winked :"no, you don't. You can come and see me whenever you want, handsome."

The smile on Ali's face turned smug as the glares intensified :"oh? Then I will definitely need to keep that in mind.

But as fun as this is, we should stop it for now. I'm in need of some cards, I wonder if you have them."

Sadie's smile didn't leave her face as she asked :"just say the name and I will look for it. If we don't have them, we will order some."

Ali nodded with a curious face :"so you know that I have chosen Serpent Night Dragon as my ace monster, right? I wonder if you have some support cards for it."

Sadie hummed with a thoughtful expression :"let me go and check, we might have some in store. Almost no one uses the Serpent Night Dragon, so we might have put them at the storage."

Ali nodded with a smile :"thanks and sorry for the trouble. I appreciate it." But Sadie giggled as she walked back :"it's my job, silly. Wait a minute or two."

As she walked to the back, Ali looked at her plump, ripe butt with a smirk before she disappeared into the back.

Zane from beside him raised an eyebrow with tight lips :"you really flirted with her there, huh, Ali?"

Ali shrugged with a smile :"yeah, I did. Why?" But Zane gave him Rock's eyebrow raise as he questioned :"didn't you say that your interested in Alexis?"

Ali shrugged once again with another shrug :"yeah, I did and I am. But just a small flirting doesn't hurt anybody. It's my way of talking since I don't know what else to talk about."

But just before Zane could say something back, another voice was heard :"tsk, you use that useless card, Serpent Night Dragon?

And you don't just use it, you have it as your ace monster? You should be a real trash to use that trash hahahaha!"

Ali's smile fell as his eyes narrowed slightly before he looked to his side to see an average looking guy looking back at him with a smug face.

Seeing that such an ordinary guy had picked a fight with him, he raised an eyebrow :"the hell did you just say, bud?"

Seeing Ali's unkind eyes, the dumbass flinched before he folded his arms in front of his chest as he snorted :"you heard me, I said that you're trash and that your cards are also trash."

There was no anger in Ali's eyes, just malicious intent as he looked at him. He snorted as he talked to himself :"I wonder if they sell bug sprays here? There are a lot of bugs bugging me."

Don't know why, but the bugs in this academy were really easy to piss off. That point was proven as the dumbass gritted his teeth :"what did you say to me?!"

Ali rolled his eyes nonchalantly as he sighed :"oh goody, it's deaf bug. I said that you're a bug, bud. You want me to write it down for you?"

Honestly, Ali already knew why this bug bugged him in such a bugging way. It was because, he was jealous.

After all, a guy randomly showed up and started flirting with the beautiful store girl who he maybe had a crush on or some shit.

But honestly, he really didn't care. Not about Sadie, about this bug. Why should he care about this random bug that just showed up?

The bug gritted his teeth with an enraged look as he pointed at Ali :"that's it! I've had enough of your disrespect!

I challenge you to a duel! I will show you just what kind of a trash you are. I will crush that deck of yours with those useless cards in it!"

Ali was honestly a little speechless. You pick a fight with someone just to challenge him to a children's card game???

But well, this bug had already disrespected his deck, the deck that his loyal minions and duel spirits were in.

So how could he let that level of disrespect that came from a bug slide? Ali snorted nonchalantly with slightly closed eyes :"fine, we'll duel.

But if you're not afraid, bug, let's wait for Sadie to finish looking for the cards that I asked for."

And the haughty bug, who I forgot to mention was an Obelisk Blue, of course, scoffed with his arms in front of his chest :"fine, I will show you that your just a trash even if you get new cards."

Ali rolled his eyes so hard that his head hurt for a sec before he ignored the bug. Zane snorted with a small smile from his other side :"and there's another trouble."

Ali snorted with a smile of his own as he rolled his eyes at his friend :"shut it, Z. At least he's an Obelisk Blue, so the DP will be sweet."

After a little while of waiting while just casually chatting about nothing in particular, Sadie finally came back with some cards in her hands :"here, I found a few!"

The others weren't going to just surround the two, so they went to other places while the bug stood a little away.

And so, it was just Ali and Zane in front of the desk as the cutie spoke with a smile :"I found two spell cards for Serpent Night Dragon, and also two other copies of Serpent Night Dragon. Take a look."

If his memory served him right, there were only one or two spell cards for Serpent Night Dragon. And now, it seems that Sadie actually brought both cards.

She put 8 cards on the desk, three copies of the spell cards and 2 copies of the Serpent Night Dragon.

Ali picked up two of the spell cards, one of each, and read the one with the shorter text on it.

The picture of the card was a red Serpent Night Dragon swirling around itself, looking pretty cool.

But once Ali read the text for himself, his eyes went wide in shock. The card in his hand, in this era, was the definition of broken.

Revived Serpent Night Dragon: Quick-Play spell.

Effect(s): Tribute 1 monster on the field, then special summon 1 "Serpent Night Dragon" from your hand, deck, or GY.

This card, for this era, was fucking bullshit. That's what it was... Do you have any idea what kind of bitchuary this card is?!

Special summoning is a rather rare thing to do in this era, forget about a spell card that let's you do it!

Spell cards most, if not, all the time, say "YOUR side of the field". But this card doesn't have that on it.

Meaning what? Meaning that you can tribute any monster on the entire field! Even your opponent's monsters!

This cards is way too broken for this era! For the time where Ali came from, not much, but for now? Damn OP!

There were only three ways to negate this spell cards in total. 1: the monster can't be targeted by effects, like Red Eyes Black Dragoon.

2: a counter trap. And 3: a monster can negate its effect, like Red Eyes Black Dragoon.

But the chance of someone having those cards is low as shit! A monster that can't be targeted by effects is damn rare.

The duelist in this academy are too dumb to carry counter traps since they can just have monsters in their decks.

And the third? Bitch, why do you think Red Eyes Black Dragoon is so fucking broken and OP???

And so, with this card, Ali could fuck up the entire field! Imagine your opponent just puts his ace monster on the field and Ali just slams this broken ass card on the field!

And what was even more of a bullshit, was that this bitch ass card was a fucking Quick-Play spell!

And guess what, there wasn't a limit to this spell cards usage. Meaning Ali could have 3 of this cards in his hands with the help of the heart of the cards, then just spam Serpent Night Dragon on the field!
