18 CH 18: Casual talk and ranting

(Third person POV)

Alexis cocked an eyebrow as she looked at her friend with a confused face :"what? What do you mean by that?"

Jasmine rolled her eyes :"come on, Alexis. Just look at him! He's a total hottie! And you said that he's a good duelist, right? Then you should definitely get him!"

Mindy beside her also nodded :"right, right! You need to get yourself a boyfriend, Lexi. And he's got the perfect looks. He's the most handsome boy I've ever seen!"

But Alexis, she just rolled her eyes at them as she sat down beside Ali. You would think that these two would already have boyfriends, but they're as single as Alexis herself!

As she sat down, Ali who was sleeping on his arm furrowed his eyebrows before his eyes slowly fluttered open.

"Oh, good morning, Ali. Sorry to wake you up." Alexis said with a smile when he woke up. Ali took the deep breath that you do when you just wake up before sitting straight.

He brought his hand up and rubbed his eyes before he glanced at Alexis :"hey, Alexis, Good morning. Whatcha doing here?"

Alexis chuckled before she raised an eyebrow at him :"isn't this the classroom that we should be in?"

Ali stopped for a second before he looked around :"is it? Oh yeah, it is. Hehe, sorry, brain still hasn't loaded yet."

Alexis gave a chuckle as she shook her head in amusement :"wow, Ali. I guess you aren't a morning person, huh? But whoa, your voice is really deep when you've just woken up."

Ali smiled as he took another deep breath in before he stretched his arms on top of his head and gave that silent scream.

Cause according to him, it wasn't a good nap unless you are able to do that closed mouth scream after waking up.

Alexis chuckled as she raised an eyebrow :"Ali, what was that?" And Ali put his elbow on the desk before placing his cheek on it as he gave a sleepy smile and said with a raspy voice :"nothing.

Just my morning ritual. *Yawn* and who might you two cuties be? You friends of Alexis here?"

The two both chuckled with small blushes on their face as Mindy waved her hand at her :"oh please, you're going to make me blush. Yes, we're Alexis's best friends. I'm Mindy, it's nice to meet you, Ali."

Jasmine also smiled :"hi, I'm Jasmine! We three go a long way back. It's nice to meet you, Ali!"

The still sleepy Ali nodded with a sleepy, droopy smile :"hey, Jasmine, Mindy. It's nice to meet you both. I'm Ali Ashborne. Feel free to call me Ali."

Honestly, the two girls couldn't help but blush at the cute smile. Heck, a smile tucked on the corner of even Alexis's lips.

There's just another kind of charm to a sleepy smile. Ali always loved it, but he didn't know that he unconsciously flashed it <ಠಿ_ಠ> to others...

The smile, alright? He flashed them a smile! Nothing else! Sigh, anyway, the two cuties nodded with smiles of their own :"alright then, nice to meet you again, Ali!"

"By the way, Ali, what are these?" Alexis said before she grabbed a crumbled piece of trash and opened it :"booster packs? Oh! Did you go to the card shop?"

Ali nodded with a nonchalant smile :"yup, *yawn* he woke me up damn early so that we could go to the store.

The owner of the store is a sweet lady. I had quite the luck actually. Not only did I get some good cards from the booster packs, I even chose what my ace monster will be!"

Alexis was a little. I mean, he just said that he will make a new deck just yesterday. And he has already found an ace monster!

Since she saw Ali's deck for herself, she knew that he probably won't just be satisfied with shabby cards.

So he must've found a pretty good card :"wow, your luck really is good I guess. You said that you will make it just yesterday, but you have already made a deck."

Jasmine and Mindy were a little surprised as the red head turned Ali and blinked with confusion :"what? Ali, don't you already have a deck? What is this all about?"

Ali chuckled before he explained :"yes, I do have a deck. In fact, a few decks. But well, I have deck building hobby.

My favorite deck... Let's say... It's too powerful. To the point where I can barely enjoy the game because it ends too quickly.

And so! Since I came here, I thought I might make a new deck from scratch! It's fun, and I can add another deck to my deck collection."

Jasmine raised an eyebrow with a teasing smirk :"don't you think you're bragging a bit too much?

After all, this is the place where the best of the best gather. So how can you say that you are planning on making a new deck?"

But before Ali could explain, Alexis took the matters into her own hands with a slightly serious face :"no, he isn't bragging, Jasmine.

Even if he is, he has the right to do so. I didn't have the chance to tell you, but yesterday, Ali and Chazz actually had a duel.

I was there along with Zane and watched the duel. But it was really short, because Ali one turn KOed Chazz."

The eyes of the two went wide as they gasped and cute red head asked with shocked :"what?!

He actually won against Chazz in a single turn?! I mean, I'm not really a fan of Chazz because of his haughty attitude, but I can't deny him being a top notch duelist!"

The ditzy girl also nodded rapidly :"right, right! Chazz is a powerful duelist that has been to the duel prep school for the past three years!"

Seriously, if that guy is considered as a top notch duelist, Ali might as well go pro already. I mean, he can considering how broken Red Eyes deck is in this era.

Ali rolled his eyes with a scoff :"oh please. If Chazz is top notch, then what am I? And besides, dueling isn't all about school and all. In fact, I never went to a dueling school or anything."

Now THAT was shocking for the girls, especially to Alexis. After all, she saw the hellish combo that he pulled and what kind of a monster he summoned!

Back on earth, that wouldn't be considered anything since it's pretty normal. But here? That shit was pro level stuff.

I mean, in here, just using spells is considered impressive... After all, the dumbasses mostly care about the ATK and DEF points.

And even though it is important, it still ain't the entire game! Like bro, how you just focusing on the monsters?!

What about their effects?! Seriously, Serpent Night Dragon was talking mad facts when he said that people would have probably thrown away Kidmodo Dragon and Decoy Dragon the moment they saw their ATK and DEF points!

And Ali was dying to make the bitches that underestimate his two little dragon's pay for it like bitches.

Just imagining it would lit up his sadistic heart on fire. Alexis who was the most shocked one of the three asked with wide eyes :"what?!

Then how are you so skilled at dueling?! With the moves that you pulled at yesterday's duel, I thought that you have for sure gone to many schools!"

Jasmine and Mindy were surprised as well, but since they hadn't seen Ali's duel for themselves, they thought that Alexis was overreacting a bit at the moment.

Ali shrugged with a nonchalant face as he rolled his neck and cracked it :"I'm serious, I have never even stepped into a duel prep school.

The reason why I'm so good, is because of just dueling. You can say that I learned it on the streets.

I just dueled and dueled till I reached this level. Mine is all about raw experience. I just kept dueling and became what I am today."

Yeah, I mean, there wasn't any duel prep school back on earth! Ands beside, what the fuck was there to learn???

Like, there's only just a few rules. Even synchro monsters haven't been invented yet! What is there to teach?!

But well, even with all that, most of the people here are dumb as fuck. Ali honestly wondered if the IQ in this world is just low or something.

But considering that Kaiba actually fucking hacked into the afterlife, the chances of that were really low.

Or probably it's just Kaiba, because he is Seto fucking Kaiba. Seriously, the only reason why Yugi could win against him is because of the heart of the cards and the MC plot armor.

Otherwise, with how Yugi's deck was all over the place, he wouldn't even win a small tournament, forget about winning against Kaiba.

Sigh, the sheer stupid number of times that Yugi pulled salvation out of his ass when he was about to lose was just fucking stupid.

One of them that Ali really laughed at, was "the moon!!!" One. Bro really attacked a field spell card...

Fortunately for Yugi, this Ali was sent to the GX era. Otherwise, yeah, no fucking way was Yugi going to become the king of games.

Well, heh, at least this Ali didn't. Another Ali did. And he wasn't just satisfied with a normal Yu-Gi-Oh universe either.

Because of Ali's "there has to be a beauty for me to take" condition, he obviously targeted a beauty there.

You know who? Most would think it's probably Mai Valentine. But nope. Ali chose someone else.

No, it's not tea. Her design was trash till The Dark Side Of Dimensions, so Ali definitely wouldn't pick her.

And besides, do you have any idea of much she pissed him off??? The bitch just got on his nerves with how she thought she's some big shit.

So now, who was left then. Since there wasn't any other girl that Ali could pick, he chose a guy to be genderbent!

And who you may ask? Well, the one and only, Seto fucking Kaiba! No matter what you may think of him, Kaiba was still a handsome guy with a rocking body.

So the female version of him, would be fucking banging! Ali had saw a few fan arts of Seto Kaiba as a girl, and he was speechless!

Anyway, back to the story. Alexis blinked a few times in amazement as she looked at him in awe :"wow, Ali.

I honestly had thought that you must have really gone to a lot of duel prep schools. But I'm really impressed by how you've reached your current level."

A smile appeared on Ali's face. Not a smug one, not an arrogant one, just a polite smile to appreciate her words :"thanks for the compliment."

Ali may be insane, but he is really sweet to his crush. And the said crush was about to blush with how beautiful his smile was.

But the other two girls weren't like her, so they immediately blushed at his sweet smile. Specially since it was still a sleepy one, there was just another charm to it.

Alexis coughed to get herself together before she looked at him with curiosity :"by the way, can I see your ace monster?

I'm really curious. After all, with just what kind of a monster you summoned yesterday, then I'm sure that you won't just label any card as your ace monster."

Ali raised a teasing eyebrow as he grinned :"what? You want to gather information about my deck already?"

Our heroine blushed a little in embarrassment as she shrugged :"no, no. I just wanted to see it out of curiosity. But if you don't want to show it, it's fine."
