12 VS Paradox Brothers!
"The rules are simple, We each have 4000 Life Points each, we cannot attack on the first turn and only monster on our field can be shared." Everyone nodded and As the duel began, Mai took the first move.
"Ladies first, I draw! First I'm summoning my Harpie Lady, In Defence mode, then I play one card face down, your turn boys."

"Hah, that was weak, I draw! I activate Polymerizarion, I fuse my Giga-Tech Wolf and Canon Soilder to fusion summon my Labyrinth Tank, in defense mode, then place 2 cards facedown, over to you fools." Said Dox.

"My turn then, I draw! I set one monster in defense mode then place 2 card face down, I end my turn.
The paradox brothers were laughing and thought that Ryze was not their opponent.
"Hahaha, pathetic of a move, let me show you how to duel, I draw, I activate the ritual spell, Novox's Prayer, this allows me to sacrifice monsters to match my ritual monster, so I send my Sanga Of The Thunder to the graveyard to Ritual summon my Skull Guardian in defense mode!"

Mai was looking at the brothers and was terrified, "They summoned 2 powerful monster on their first turn, we have to watch out, they are tougher then I thought!"
Ryze was looking at Mai and just smiled which wierded her out.
"After that I place 1 card facedown, I end my turn."
Suddenly the Paradox Brother had a battle stand.
"You should give up, so you don't cower!"
"In the end, you both are tougher!"
"But when we done with you, you suffer!"
"So we win, with our mighty power!"
Ryze was beginning to think that these duels has been more and more weird, PaniK should of just been a coincidence, but suddenly fighting the Paradox Brothers too? What is going? Is it the work of the evil that the system mentioned.
"My turn then, I draw!" (We are able to attack now but their monsters is just too powerful at the moment, but I have an idea.)
"I summon my Amazon Fighter in attack mode, Then i end my turn."

As Mai ended her turn Ryze looked at her and was thinking that she might have a plan, else it was foolish to summon a monster in attack mode against their high lvl monsters.
"Well, looks like you are a fool."
"But we know it is a tool."
"We will go for the bait tho, my turn I draw! I switch my Labyrinth Tank to attack mode and not only that command it to attack your Amazon Fighter!"
The tank charges at Mai's Amazon and was about to hit, but A wall of mirrors appears and when it went through, Labyrinth Tank attack was cut in half.
"Sorry boys but you triggered my trap, My Mirror Wall, it cuts your monster attack by half making my monster stronger then yours!"
While the Amazon was about to counter attack, suddenly the labyrinth tank shined.
"Fool, I know you had a trap, that's why I was prepared, I activate my facedown, my De-Fusion, it splits my monster back to the creatures that summoned my labyrinth tank."
After the light show was done, 2 more monster appears in Defence mode.
"I'm not done yet, because I sacrifice my Giga-tech Wolf and Canon Soilder to summon Kazejin in attack mode!" Said Para.

Ryze was impressed, the play so far by the Paradox Brothers have been more then incredible which is not a good thing for them.
"I am done for now, but don't celebrate yet." Para said.
"For we about to take out our breaks" Dox said.
"We will go full force that you will regret!"
Ryze started to get annoyed with all the rhyming and just drew his card.
"I switch my facedown monster to attack mode, my cobra jar! And then activate his special ability, when it switch from facedown to face up, I get a snake token, but they will not be out for long since I sacrifice both of them to summon my ace monster, My Beast King Barbaros!"

Both the paradox brothers was shocked at the sight of the beast and it's attack points.
"3000 attack points!? Such a powerful beast!" Para said.
Ryze was looking at the field and knew he could not attack Kazejin, since it's ability to change any attacking monster to 0 if they are attacked.
"Barbaros, attack his Skull Guardian!"
Barbaros charged at Skull Guardian and destroyed him, while it happens Mai was looking at Ryze monster and was impressed by the display.
"I end my turn with that."
"Then it is my turn I draw!"
As Dox drew his card he smiled and then looked at his brother which nodded and smiled as well.
"I first activate my magic card The shallow grave, this allows us all to summon a monster from our graveyard to defense mode, I choose my Santa Of The Thunder!
"And I choose my Giga-Tech Wolf!"
Ryze choose his cobra that he sacrificed before, the only one who couldn't summon a monster was Mai since she had no monster in the Graveyard.
"That is not all, I activate my other magic card, Tribute doll, this allows me to summon any lvl 7 monster from my hand by sacrificing one monster on our side of the field, and my brother are generous to give me one of his."
Para nodded and sent his Wolf back to the graveyard.
"I summon my Suijin, in attack mode."

Mai was just baffled, the paradox brothers kept summoning high lvl monster with no effort, she was starting to feel dread but then looked at her field, as long as mirror wall is still on she will be safe.
"I am not done yet, now the true power will be revealed, I sacrifice my Suijin, Sanga Of The Thunder and my brothers Kazejin to summon, GATE GUARDIAN!"
The 3 monster started to combine and turn into one huge monster looking down on Barbaros.

Ryze and Mai was looking at the monster infront and was prepared.
"Ah my Brother has summoned Gate Guardian, let me help you more by active my facedown, mystical Space typhoon, with this i destroy your Mirror Wall, making way for our monster!"
"Ah thank you brother, you too kind."
A strong wind hit mirror wall and it was sent to the graveyard, Which Mai found annoying.
"Now Gate Guardian, Attack Beast King Barbaros!"
As Gate Guardian was about to attack Barbaros, Ryze was activating one of his face down, Block attack, which changes one monster from Attack to Defence mode.
"Ahh my Guardian , no matter, you only stalled for the inevitable, I end my turn."
It was Mai's turn and Ryze was feeling confident, with on Gate Guardian out and no facedown cards on their field, Mai can turn this around easily, she drew a card and saw the card she drew with confidence.
"Ryze, I'm borrowing your cobra for abit."
Ryze nodded and raised his duel disk. "What mine is yours Mai."
"Well said." Mai winked at Ryze.
"I begin to sacrifice my Amazon fighter and Ryze Cobra Jar to summon my Harpie Pet Dragon!"

"My Harpie Pet Dragon gets 500 attack points for every Harpie Lady on the field and I have one! So it gets 500 attack points."

"Im not done yet, I activate my magic card Elegant Egotist, this allows me to change my Harpie Lady to Harpie Lady Sisters!"

"While she is on the field she counts as 3 monsters which increases my Harpie Per Dragon with 1500 instead of 500 which is enough to defeat your Gate Guardian that is in Defence model!"

"3500 attack points!?" Said the brothers with a surprise.
"Harpie Pet Dragon, Attack their Gate Guardian!"
The dragon raised its wings and then breath fire at the gate guardian and destroyed him.
"Our Guardian!!!"
"Harpie Lady Sisters, attack Para directly!"
The 3 ladies took of in the air and slashed at Para's back.
"Argh!"
"Brother!!!"
Para [4000 - 1950] = [2050LP]
"Okay boys, I put one card facedown and end my turn, you are not doing so well boys, but I guess that's all you got."
The Paradox Brothers looked at each other and then both nodded and then suddenly a dark energy was emitting from Para's deck.
Ryze noticed the dark energy from the deck and was on guard, "what is going on?"
"It is time you fools!"
"That you feel doom! I draw! I activate my magic card Dark Element! This card can only be activate if we have Gate Guardian in the graveyard!"
Ryze was shocked, that card shouldn't exist in this time, that card was used by them in the GX era, the anime exclusive card Dark element and that could only mean one thing.
"How can this be!?"
Mai was looking at Ryze in confusion, "do you know what that is?"
The paradox brothers saw Ryze expression and was shocked as well, "Looks like we found what it was looking for brother."
"Indeed brother, that means we must defeat them harder! So I continue! My Dark Element can only activate if Gate Guardian is in the graveyard, by paying half my life points, this allows me to summon Dark Guardian!!!"
A man with an Axe with legs of a spider showed from the graveyard and roared angry!

Ryze and Mai looked at it in horror, such a strong monster appearing just like that is unheard of.
"Dark Guardian, Attack her dragon! And since my monster is stronger you take the damage of difference in attack points, which is 300!"
Dark Guardian with a dark aura around it swings his axe and a tornado was hitting Harpie Pet Dragon and it was screaming in pain and was destroyed.
"Ahhhhh!!!" Mai screamed in pain.
"Mai!?"
Mai [4000 - 300] = [3700]
Mai fell down and was looking like she was in pain.
"Mai, are you okay!?"
Mai was slowly trying to stand up, she looked at the Dark Guardian and felt fear, she felt actual pain.
"Ryze, you must watch out, i don't know how to explain it but I felt actual pain from that attack."
Ryze looked at Mai and was both surprised and shocked, Actual pain, he looked at the Dark Guardian who had a dark aura around it and was feeling abit angry.
System: [Warning, the monster Dark Guardian should not exist in this era and is coated with dark aura from the shadow game, please defeat them as soon as possible so it won't turn into a Shadow Game.]
"Hahaha, do you feel our power!"
"You will in a few hours."
"For we-"
"Roger that, enough rhymes, My turn then I draw, I activate my spell card axe of despair and equip it to my Beast King Barbaros, giving him a 1000 attack point bonus.
[3000 + 1000] = [4000 Attack power]
"Hmph even with 4000 attack points you still can't defeat our guardian!" Said Dox
"Because he can't be destroyed in battle!"
Ryze was then looking at Dox which made Dox confused.
"I know but remember this is a Tag Duel, and from what I see, Dox don't have any monster on his field, which means you are wide open!"
Dox realized what Ryze meant and turned pale, he had no hand and no card on the field to protect himself.
"Barbaros, attack Dox life points directly!!!
Barbaros charges at Dox with the equipped Axe of despair and finished Dox life points.
"Argh!!!"
"Brother!!!"
Dox [4000 - 4000] = [0LP]
Dox lie down on the ground unconscious which Ryze looked at him weirdly, they are performing really well for taking damage.
"You will pay for that, since my brother is defeated it's 2 vs 1, which mean that I get more turns, I draw! I begin to attack her Harpie Lady Sisters!"
Ryze looked at Mai and hoped that the facedown card she has will help her now.
"Sorry Para but I activate my facedown card Waboku, this trap card which I got from a friend of mine does that I take no dmg this turn and my monster is safe!"
Dark Guardians she tornado hit Harpies Lady sister while it did not get destroyed, Mai still felt the tornado hit her.
"I end my turn then." Said Para with an disappointed face.
"My turn then, I draw, I switch my Harpie lady's to Defence mode, then I place on card facedown, I end my turn.
"Hahaha, that is all? Then you will suffer!, I draw and then I activate my spell card "Fairy Meteor Crush and equip it to my Dark Guardian, now when he attacks a monster in defense mode, the difference between my monster attack points and your monster defense points is going through your life points, I attack with Dark Guardian, after that I end my turn."
The Harpie Ladies systers screamed and got destroyed which made Mai scream too."
"Argh!"
Mai [3700 - 1700] = [2000LP]
Ryze looked at Mai with worry, so far he has not been attacked and don't know how much pain it inflicts on someone.
Mai shakes of the pain and looked at Ryze.
"Ryze summon a monster, I have a facedown card that will let us win this duel!"
Ryze nodded and smiled.
"My turn then, I draw, I summon my Faith Bird in attack mode!"

"And now I activate my facedown card, GIft Of A Martyr, it does that I can sacrifice one monster on the field and transfer its attack point to another monster, but that monster cannot attack directly, I sacrifice Ryze Faith Bird, and give its attack points to Barbaros!"
"Oh no!?"
Barbaros roared with power and was staring at the Dark Guardian ready for battle.
"Thanks Mai, With 1500 attack points to my 4000 already on Barbaros, gives his Power to 5500 attack points! I can destroy your monster but I can destroy your life points, Attack Barbaros! Finish it!!!"
"Nooo!!!"
With Barbaros attack Mai and Ryze won the duel, Ryze obtained Dox's Skull Guardian, while Mai got Kazejin and now Mai and Ryze has 4 locator card each.
"Where did you obtain Dark Guardian!?"
"The Paradox Brithers looked at each other and just said that he got it from their work and just left them with mystery.
"Leave them, It's not like you would tell where you got your card Ryze."
After the duel, the paradox brothers went toward an abandoned building and went downstairs, after walking for a bit, they saw a strange door with weird signs it, they open the door and then saw a huge mirror and infront was PaniK who was kneeling in front of it with a pale face.
"Please give me another chance! I promise I will crush Yugi and his friends."
In the mirror, instead of PaniK reflection he saw a figure with dark energy coating his entire body.
"I gave you two tasks and can't even finish one of them, instead you lost to a duelist who was not even Yugi, we need him to achieve our goals! He is part of the puzzle."
As PaniK was still healing and was beggin for another chance, the paradox brother went past him and was infront of the mirror, and the word he said surprised the man in the mirror.
"We might if found the one who you search for." Said both the brothers.
