15 The Hidden Shadow

While walking, Ryze was pondering on what is going on, the pain in his heart was intense in the moment of the duel.

"… System, do you know what I'm dealing with? And also what happend, I got no reward from winning against the puppeteer and I didn't even got my locator card and Rare card from him!"

System: [The Darkness, as I mentioned before, which has grown and has unbalanced the world, which is why you were brought here to this world. When faced against the darkness the reward will be shown afterwords.]

Ryze signed, he knew already that he was transported here to stop this darkness from upset the balance but how am I supposed to stop this darkness if I don't know who or what the darkness is.

"Am I thinking to much about this?"

Ryze signed even more, he walked and went towards a small shop that he can get something cold to drink.

"{System, I wish to trade in my Rare Ritual monster cards I got from the tournament.}"

System: [Confirmed, trading in Ritual Rare cards for staple rare cards.]

"Oh those are pretty good card, I could use these card to upgrade my deck, wait… I traded in 2 Rare Ritual Monster and only got 1 Rare Card? What's up with that!?"

System: [The Ritual Monster cards you traded in were Rare but not very powerful, so the trade is fair.]

Ryze went into the shop and ordered som soda, while sitting down and was thinking how to redo his deck, someone called out to him.

"So we meet again."

Ryze turned around and saw Ishizu looking at him with a smile, which made Ryze very nervous.

"Oh hey Ichizu, what are you doing here?"

Ishizu looked outside the window and said, "it was destiny that led me here."

Ryze looked at Ishizu with confusion and then remembered that she had the Millennium Necklace which allows here to see the future or past.

Ryze then had a teasing smile, "Destiny huh, I mean, meeting such a beautiful lady such as yourself is destiny for sure."

Ishizu looked at Ryze with a small shock and then giggled, "perhaps, but that is not why I here, if you would come with me."

Ishizu walked outside which Ryze followed after he got his soda, they arrived at the museum where the Egyptian artifacts are displayed and walked down the basement.

"Do you see this tablet, this holds 5 thousand year of history and what I'm about to tell you is a century old tale which connects to this very present."

"Okay… I'm listening." Ryze was thinking that this is going to be a long conversation and while listening to all Ishizu said, One thing she mentioned took Ryze by surprise.

"The darkness intensified when the High mage Hishin tried to manipulate the Pharaoh and almost succeeded to do so."

"{High Mage Heishin!? Isn't that the Mage from the Yugioh Forbidden Memories!? This was never mentioned before in the anime!}"

Ishizu continued "while the Pharaoh stopped him, the darkness he unleashed affected the world and made a mark on it, to this day, Heishin influence has spread far and wide, who say that he is gone, our history don't know for sure."

Ryze was pondering, does this Heishin guy have anything to do with the imbalance of the darkness.

Ishizu looked at Ryze and then touched her Millennium Neckles, "I have a request, but before I do, I wish that we duel."

Ryze then looked at Ishizu with a surprise.

"We are also betting our Locator Cards, if you win this duel, I will make my request."

Ishizu then prepared a duel disk and was ready.

Ryze looked at Ishizu and smiled. "I can't deny a beautiful lady's request, okay Ishizu, Let's Duel!"

Meanwhile at a factory.

PaniK looked towards the mirror with fear and continued to bow.

"Bring me them."

PaniK nodded and went outside and meet the Paradox Brothers.

"What do you want twin freaks?"

The brother laughed together and then looked at PaniK with smug faces.

"Oh brother, do you hear this dog talk?"

"I don't know, I swear I could hear him bark, with how he performed before."

"He will surely try but poorly."

PaniK looked at the brother with annoyed face and went past them.

"I have to follow masters order, I will bring them to him, even if I have to drag them with force!"
