7 Enter The Rare Hunters
After walking for awhile, Ryze walked near the museum and saw Yugi who looked older suddenly and Tea with more casual clothes which makes Tyze smile more with a teasing face, Yugi and Tea saw Ryze smiling at them and looked flustered.
*Cough* "Ryze, what are you doing here?"
Ryze pointed at his arm and they saw the Duel Disk he got.
"Oh you were entering the tournament? I guess we both will be on it." Said Yugi.
"Oh so you are gonna join? You weren't sure before."
Yugi just nodded and all 3 walked through the street and untill Yugi and Ryze heard a strange laugh in the crowd.
"Hmm what's the matter you two? Is everything okay?"
Yugi nodded and told Tea it was nothing and then looked at Ryze.
"Did you hear that aswell?"
Ryze looked at Yugi and just shrugged.
"If you mean a strange laugh then yes, anything else no."
Yugi was about to say something until they all heard someone call his name.
"HEY Yugi, there you are!"
Yugi, Tea and Ryze looked at the same direction and saw a Blonde Young Women with beautiful face and looked happy to see us.
"It's Mai Valentine!"
Tea looked abit disturbed and saw her walking towards us.
She grabbed Tea and smiled teasingly.
"You looking snazzy Tea, Is this a date?"
Tea tried to talk herself out of it and then Mai saw Ryze.
"Oh and who is this?"
Ryze was smiled and stretched his hand.
"Hello, I'm Ryze Minato, it's nice to meet you, Are you here for the tournament?"
Mai stretch her arm as well and shakes his hand.
"Yeah, and I assume that you and Yugi are too?"
Both Yugi and Ryze nodded and suddenly a big screen on the building lit up and showed Kaiba in it.
"{Greetings Duelist's, Welcome to the town Domino! But more importantly, welcome to my tournament, I see you each received a private invitation or register in our database on our very exclusive Duel Monsters tournament and you had enough brains to show up here tonight.}"
Everyone was feeling insulted and the crowd complained.
"I see his Ego hasn't changed at all." Said Mai.
"{Being that you are all elite duelists, I added some special rules just for experts. For example!}"
Kaiba suddenly showed of the Duel Disk and said.
"{You will use this brand new and improved Duel Disks and I know some of you already got them.}"
Everyone was looking at the Duel Disk and was cheering.
"{For those who don't know, my tournament has a special rule. You need to ante you rarest card and the loser hands it over to the victor, but that's not all, you need to hand over a special card called Locator Card that is in your Duel Disk, If you don't have any Locator Cards then you are disqualified!"
Suddenly a helicopter showed up in the sky and showed Kaiba on it! "Gather 6 Different Locator Cards and you will be qualified for the next stage! It has to be different since all 6 Locator Cards will show you the way to the next stage!"
Kaiba was then stretching his arm with the Duel Disk on and yelled.
"Don't forget to register and pick up you Duel Disk because exactly 1 week from today! The tournament will begin!!!"
Ryze had a surprise face on him, (Crap! It's so soon, I need to fix my deck until then!)
[On a ship far in the ocean]
"A tournament huh."
"Yes Master, The most elite duelist will be there."
The guy on the throne laughed out loudly.
"How convenient that many of our targets are gather in one place! Now my Rare Hunters! Go to the town of Domino at once!"
"Yes Master, some is already there, and they already have a target for tonight!"
The guy on the throne looked pleased and started to laugh even more loudly.
[Back to the City]
Ryze, Tea, Yugi and Mai walked their separate way, Untill Ryze heard an alarm in his head.
System:[Warning, You are cornered by hooded men, Emergency mission activated, *Defeat the Rare Hunter!* Reward:3 Of the same Rare Cards.]
Ryze was looking at the screen with a calm face but inwards, he was panicking.
"How about you show yourselfs!"
Suddenly in front of Ryze, 3 guys in a darkhod appears and was looking towards me with a evil smile.
"We are here for you Ryze, We are here for your rare card! Surrender! Or experience defeat!"
Ryze was then laughing very loudly and turned on his Duel Disk on.
"Lookes like I'm able to use this Duel Disk earlier then expected! I Duel you but let's make a bet!"
The Rare Hunter looked at Ryze with a small shock but then started to slowly laugh at him.
"Oh and what is that?"
Ryze took out his Cyber Dinosaur and showed it to the Rare Hunters.
"Let's do exactly as the tournament rules state, we are betting with our rarest cards, if I win, I get one of your rarest cards, but if I lose I give you my 2 of my rarest card. But I will only Duel one of you, Does that sound fair."
The Rare Hunters looked at Ryze with a evil smile and thought he was stupid and agreed.
Both Duel Disk activated and both has already shuffled each others deck.
[Lets Duel!!!]
Ryze: [4000LP] Hand 5
Rare Hunter: [4000LP] Hand 5
"Since I got challenged I start! I Draw! I start by summoning my Zombyra The Dark, In attack mode!"
Suddenly the disk shined and a masked figure appears standing in the building and jumped down in front of Ryze.

The Rare Hunters looked at the card in surprise, "it looks like you have more rare cards then we thought."
Ryze smiled and set two card facedown before ending his turn.
"My turn then, I draw! I begin by activate my spell Mind Control! It let me take on of your monster to my side of the field but he cannot attack, but that is not why I'm taking him, I sacrifice Zombyra The Dark to summon my Manticore Of Darkness!
Ryze saw a beast with feather wings on his back roar and was facing him.

Ryze was looking at the monster with fear but also with a smile, it felt so real for him and it was awesome!
"Manticore, Attack Ryze directly!"
The beast roars again at Ryze and attack his chest.
"Argh!!!"
Ryze: [4000 - 2300] = [1700LP]
The Rare Hunter looked at Ryze and smiled and ended his turn.
Ryze looked at his chest and saw no real Damage but it looked so real that he thought he really got attacked and then slowly smiled.
Ryze: [1700LP] Hand 3
Rare Hunter: [4000] Hand 5
"Ryze looked at the Rare Hunter with pity and told them that made them surprised.
"You should of set some cards idiots, My turn, I draw! I Summon my Fiend Sword I attack mode!"
Fiend Sword

Defense: 800
The Rare Hunters looked at his monster and started to laugh.
"Is that all you got? You should just give us your card ri-"
"I then activate my Magic card Double Attack! By discarding one monster card that is higher lvl then my monster in the field, my Fiend Sword can attack twice! I discard my Cyber Dinosaur!"
The Rare Hunter looked at Ryze with confusion, (Why would he activate that? His monster is still weaker then Manticore?)
"I'm not done yet, I activate my face down card, Monster Reborn! I can summon a monster from waiter players graveyard and my target is my Cyber Dinosaur!"
Suddenly beside a small sword, A huge cybernetic dinosaur appeared on the field and roared!

"Tch!"
The Rare Hunter looked at Ryze once again and knew why he was looking at him with a smile but what Ryze said next made him pale.
"I activate my Equip Spell, Malavolent Nuzzler and I equip my Fiend Sword to it, Increasing his attack point by 700!"
1400 + 700 = 2100 attack points
"Cyber Dinosaur attack his Maticore! Eletric Crunch!"
The dinosaur charged at the maticore and took a bite on him which destroyed his monster.
Rare Hunter: [4000 - 200] - [3800LP]
"Argh!"
"Fiend Sword, Attack his life points directly!"
The flying sword charged right at the Rare Hunter, Stabbing him in the stomach before returning to Ryze side.
"Argh!!!"
Rare Hunter: [3800- 2100] - [1700LP]
The Rare Hunter looked at Ryze with rage and then was smiling.
"Hahaha, i see that you are strong, I wonder why we haven't heard of you before but with your silence I guess it's my tu-"
Ryze pointed at the Rare Hunter and said attack, which fought him of guard.
"What are you doing!?"
"It looked like you forgot my magic card Double Attack, I told you that allows my monster to attack twice, I cannot believe you a Rare Hunter forget such a thing."
The Rare Hunter suddenly remembered and turned Pale.
"Attack again my Fiend Sword, Finish him!!!"
"Wait Nooooo!!!"
The sword was flying once again at the Rare Hunter and finished the rest of his life points.
Rare Hunter: [1700 - 2100] = [0LP]
The Rare Hunter went down on his knee, he couldn't believe he lost just like that, So didn't his comrades as well.
Ryze went toward the Rare Hunter and Picked up the card Manticore Of Darkness.
"As part of the Ante, this card is now mine."
While he took the card and was about to leave, The other Rare Hunters stood in his way.
"Hold it, you will duel all of us!"
Ryze was feeling annoyed, he knew they wouldn't follow on what they promised and when Ryze was prepared to charge them. A helicopter appears.
*Tch* "Kaiba has appeared, you got lucky Ryze, we will see you in the tournament, you can count on it!!!"
The Rare Hunters ran away while the helicopter with Kaiba on it landed and appeared before Ryze.
"Looks like I was late to the party, You, as you holding a Duel Disk. You must be a Duelist who will appear in my tournament, who were they?"
Ryze looked at Kaiba and slowly told him that he got ambushed and was forced to duel them.
"They call themself Rare Hunters, I thought you might wanna know."
Kaiba looked at Ryze with a grumpy face and then had a smug face.
"You must be at least a bit worthy of a duelist to take them on, if you are not a third rate duelist that is and got lucky."
Ryze slowly turned and slowly walked away but not before saying.
"Since you guys were so slow that I finished my duel is showing my skills, so beware so you don't lose to this *Lucky Duelist* Okay" Ryze said with a smile.
Kaiba was looking at Ryze with a more hateful face and turned away.
(Rare Hunters, so you took the bait!)
While Ryze was heading home and Kaiba returned to the helicopter, A man in the roof was staring at Ryze.
"Is this destiny? Who is this unknown power?"
Suddenly after saying those words he slowly disappeared like he never was there.
