Yu-Gi-Oh Across Dimensions...

Radom YUGIOH Fan-Fic because I thought why not, little more fast pace and not something I plan on doing for a while, for now. MC gets reincarnated into YuGiOh with the unique power to jump between YuGiOh worlds up to 5Ds (probably wont but might add Zexal (very unlikely tho)) with the added No System. Yes Love interest maybe 2 or 3 max but garneted 1. Main deck will vary and change overtime. MC gonna start with build decks overtime. Duel Spirits? Yes. YuGiOh Vrains? No. Link Monsters? Fuck NO.

Chapter 13 | After the Duel (2/2)

Waking the next morning, I headed to class as always, during Crowler's class I was looking through the rewards I had received yesterday.

Pulling out my phone, which was connected to my duel disk I saw the list of rewards and achievements.

[Defeat Duelist (Alexis Rhodes)]

[First Canon Duel]

Quickly looking through the notifications, I clicked on the first notification that pertained to winning against Alexis.

[Defeat Duelist (Alexis Rhodes)]

[Rewards - 100 SDP/Advanced Ritual Art]

...

My eyes widened slightly as I read the achievement for defeating Alexis due to the spell card I had received. I was familiar with the card as it was a really good ritual support card for nearly any ritual monster, but was stumped as I didn't have any ritual monsters, as of yet.

Clicking on the spell card, a picture of the Yugioh card popped up clearly displaying the card's name, a picture, and the description.

Advanced Ritual Arts

The picture showed a Stonehenge surrounding a magic circle with lightning descending onto it. It was quite an over-dramatic picture but it was not uncalled for as the effect was just that good.

It was a card that allowed the user to summon any ritual monster in their hand, the twist was that it used normal monsters from the deck instead of the hand. It was essentially a card that would allow you to not worry about hand size and freely summon any ritual monster as long as there were some normal monsters in the deck.

Rereading the effect I inwardly thanked Alexis as this was an extremely good card, but I turned to the SDP or Special Duel Points and I was stumped as I couldn't do anything with it. Deciding to rely on Sheou's knowledge I asked her a question mentally, something we could now do as our 'bond' had been solidified.

'Sheou, do you know what I can use the SDP for right now?' I asked mentally.

'Master, the SDP are majorly for use in the system's 'shop', however as the 'shop' function is currently locked, it can only be converted into either real-world money or duel academy DP.' Sheou explained with a scholarly tone.

'Wait so what's the conversion rate?' I asked.

'The conversion rate is 1 SDP = 10 DP = $ 0.50, however, master can only convert SDP into other currencies one way, as in it is impossible to cannot convert DP or $ into SDP.'' Sheou promptly stated.

'So I have about $500 on me?... wait that would make a Duel Monsters pack cost $10... that actually made sense considering here it's considered a worldwide sport...' I mulled over.

'Also I feel I must explain something.' Sheou added much to my confusion.

'What is it?' I asked back.

'Master will not receive a card every time you win a duel.' Sheou stated and my eyebrows furrowed at that.

'What do you mean?' I asked back.

'Master may receive cards for either making completing an achievement, randomly though the shop, or defeating a duelist from the anime. However when the master defeats a character from the main cast, the master much win a certain amount of times until master receives the next card. For example winning a card every 10 duels against a certain character, although this isn't the exact pattern the system follows, master may use it as reference.' Sheou explained again and my eyes widened at the revelation.

'Wait so, what is the pattern for winning cards?' I asked and Sheou gave a vague answer.

'It ranges from the characters involvement with the story. For example in 100 wins, master could receive more cards from Jaden or Alexis then Bastion who is absent for most of the series.' Sheou finished and I understood now how it worked.

'Thanks for the information.' I thanked Sheou as I turned my attention back to the notifications.

'Anytime master.' She said before disappearing back into the card.

Now moving onto the next notification I clicked on it and read it quickly.

[Rewards - 500 SDP/Call of the Haunted]

...

Reading the new notification, I became exited when I read 'Call of the Haunted' in the rewards list. Immediately I pressed it on it and added it to my deck, I already knew exactly what it does and I was sure to add it into my deck immediately.

Taking out my deck, I replaced Fake Trap with Call of the Haunted, but after doing so was interrupted by a voice.

''Illumi could answer?'' Crowler asked and I snapped my neck up.

''Oh um... could you repeat the question, Dr. Crowler?'' I asked and Crowler seemed surprised.

''Are you sick Illumi? You didn't seem to be paying attention...'' Crowler asked.

''Nothing like that sir! I was just thinking of adapting my deck to fit some of the refined strategies you had talked about earlier, sir.'' I answered throwing some compliments into my words, which seemed to work.

''Is that so? Then good on you, all of you should strive to be as studious and dedicated as Illumi, here.'' Crowler said to the class seeming to be in a good mood after having his Duelist ability praised.

Throughout the rest of the class, Crowler went over the application and theory of chaining card effects and spells. I already knew everything, so I just tuned him out and searched for some cards I could look into on my PDA.
