Life in New Domino City

Hi guys, I've been getting messages telling me that I am focusing a lot on slice of life, and not enough on Duels. I have to say that's what keeps the characters alive, if I didn't do that then they would look like robots with no control whatsoever.

Leaving Goodwin's office, Smith massaged her temples. Smith found Goodwin's orders strange, but she could only follow them.

"I'm going to go home, I deserve to rest."

Heading to the garage to pick up her car and drive home, Smith whispered to himself, "I hope Bisha and Mina are here, I missed her, I haven't seen them in months."

Getting into a seemingly sporty car, Smith drove home calmly, looking out over the city she was born in, and has not seen in months. It was completely different from satellite.

After about twenty minutes, Smith arrived at an upscale residential complex, protected by high walls and guards. Showing his residential card, the guards allowed him access.

Parking her car, Smith headed home happily, expecting to find her two best friends and her soft bed.

Outside her door, she saw the light turned off, inserting her key, Smith opened the door. Darkness was everywhere in the apartment. The lights non-existent, the curtains closed not allowing the moon's rays to enter.

By human nature fearing the dark, Smith's body tensed and warned, and suddenly ...

"SURPRISE !!!!"

The lights came on with two women appearing from behind the sofa, with a cake in hand.

"Kyaaaa!"

Smith gasped in surprise, but realizing that it was a party for her, she smiled and hugged her two friends, careful of the cake.

"Thanks Bisha, Mina, I missed you."

With a smile, the two women patted Smith on his back.

"You too Smith." Mina said.

Bisha, who took the cake, said: "Come to the table, we will eat the cake. You know we bought it from Louise, the best pastry chef in Domino City. We barely had time to go and buy this cake, when friends from the office called us to tell us you were back from satellite. "

Smith smiled, but then pouted, "I wanted to surprise you by coming over. They spoiled the surprise by calling you." If Genesis, or Domino's City Security Guards saw Smith's childish behaviour right now, they could never associate him with a berserk or an Ice Queen.

Bisha and Mina laughed at Smith's childishness and soon they sat down to eat the cake. As time passed, Smith began to recount what had transpired over the years.

Bisha and Mina listened intently. Smith told them all without hiding anything, as Bisha and Mina were long-time trusted friends, and they were colleagues at work. The group of three girls had known each other from their high school days and their enrolment in the academy of security guards. All three were the object of admiration at Duel Academy, they were good Duelists and their beauty attracted the attention of many pursuers, yet they rejected everyone without exception. Then during their registration at the academy of security agents, the three had supported each other to successfully integrate the Security Sector. Upon graduation, the three rose to high positions thanks to their exemplary results, including Bisha who became a senior officer leading several teams.

Listening to Smith and his conversation with Goodwin, Bisha narrowed her eyes and leaned back in her chair, crossing her long, bare legs.

Bisha is a beautiful young woman in her twenties with a slender physique. She has blonde hair that goes down to her knees, and gorgeous lavender eyes. Bisha has a slim but toned body with modest forms, unlike Smith who is generous. Bisha has very long sexy legs, which with her height of 1.74 meters.

Currently, she wears a pure white dress, which reaches her knees, and which bared her shoulders. When Bisha crossed her long legs, showing off her creamy thighs, any man would have a reaction.

Bisha is very generous with all of her friends, and doesn't hesitate to protect them. As soon as she sees someone who needs help, she doesn't hesitate to rush. She is quite a friendly person and generally formal to people despite her cold character on the outside.

Bisha will refuse any attempt to give up, and will continue to fight until the end. If she decides to do something, she does it, and nothing will stop her, however, she keeps her subordinates safe. The attitude of a true leader, which gave him the blind loyalty of his subordinates.

Seeing Bisha in deep thought, Mina and Smith stared at Bisha, who was known to be the smartest of the three.

Mina is a cute woman in her early twenties with short, blue hair and golden eyes. Not having Smith's generous proportions, and not having Bisha's slender figure, Mina makes up for it with an above-standard figure with an adorable height of 1.68 meters. Mina is the sweet and generous person among the group, she loves to help and always has a lovely smile. It's Mina Simington, Jack Atlas' future secretary.

Looking at Smith, Bisha couldn't understand Goodwin's order, as she couldn't find an explanation for Goodwin's orders.

Looking at Smith with a stern look, she said, "Smith, I can't understand why Goodwin asked you to find this criminal, but be careful, Goodwin is a dangerous man."

Seeing Bisha's gaze, Smith nodded. Mina and Smith knew that when Bisha looked like that, it meant she was serious and worried, because she couldn't quite understand Goodwin's intention.

Suddenly, when the atmosphere was serious, Bisha gave a playful cat smile and asked, "So, how is this mysterious criminal? Handsome or not?"

Smith blushed at Bisha's questions. Mina, who was watching the discussion with a smile, caught a nod from Bisha, and she started teasing Smith as well.

Of the three girls, Smith is the most timid when it comes to love. With every confession a man makes, she panics and leaves the place with a flushed face, giving her a reputation for being cold and heartless. It is because of her inexperience with love that she has been single since birth. However, Smith desires to know love, every woman desires it.

Bisha, rejected the confessions because she wanted to focus on her career, and she wanted to find the right companion so as not to experience a tragedy, like the one suffered by her mother. She knows her beauty is like honey to bees, and over time from her youth she learned to avoid people who only wanted her beauty.

Mina, on the contrary, wanted to meet her destined man. Mina believed that she would find the man of her life, and for all this time she rejected other men.

The night between the three women passed and under the hours passing, the three women went to sleep.

The next few days, the first thing Genesis did, was to visit New Domino City, while waiting for Blister to fabricate a new identity for him.

The location of Genesis' hideout was north of the Security Sector, which he visited first. It's sarcastic to see a wanted criminal visit the HQ of the agents who wanted to catch him.

He then visited the chic district, which was next to the Security Sector. Genesis recognized certain places, like where Misty resides, or where Jack and Carly had a date.

Genesis went further south, and there he visited the Arcadia Movement. He had nothing to say, the guards looked like members of a cult.

After that he headed east, and he entered downtown New Domino City. Genesis found many interesting shops, including a Duel card store. His boss had important connections.

He then visited the Stadium where the Fortune Cup will take place in the future. However, at the stadium he found posters. While reading one, Genesis read.

"To all the Duelists in New Domino City!

In a month the big tournament will be organized,

All Duelists will be accepted,

But only the best will qualify to participate in the tournament

And the best among you will have a chance to compete in Hunter Place

Our Champion!

Now Duelists, register quickly, because glory and riches await! "

Reading the poster, Genesis smiled and tore the sheet off the wall.

"This will be my first big step in this city." Genesis thought.

After all he knows that Jack will be contacted by Lazar, and that Jack will be arriving in New Domino City at the end of the year. Genesis has some pretty funny plans, one that will change part of the plot.

Finally, the last destination of Genesis was the party district of the city. This is the place where celebrities celebrated events. Genesis had no interest in visiting this place, so he returned.

During these days, Genesis also arranged its hiding place a bit. He bought a single bed with his money, because he found the sofa uncomfortable. He also bought rare and powerful Duel Runner pieces, pieces not found on satellite, but available in New Domino City. This made his already powerful Duel Runner, even more powerful. His "White Lightning" will be the fastest on the circuit.

Genesis also participated in a few Duels in the quarter, although he never summoned a powerful dragon, either out of necessity or to keep a low profile.

Through these Street Duels, Genesis forged connections in the underground world of New Domino City, connections that can help him when he needs it.

Of course, there were also a few hooligans who wanted to resort to physical violence ... let's say they could never face Genesis again. Genesis possesses strong physical strength, with great agility. Genesis itself does not know the origin of this physical growth. But finally, he put the blame on his Pharaonic powers.

On the sixth day, Genesis was returning from an underground tournament, when he noticed a group of men surrounding a 15-year-old girl, wearing a school uniform, with messy hair and tears in their eyes.

Genesis suddenly stopped and stared intently at this girl. Turning around with his Duel Runner, Genesis rushed straight towards the group. One of the hooligans, heard the sound of an engine, turning around, he saw a Duel Runner rushing towards him. With fear, he shouted to his friends to run, to avoid being run over.

Genesis seeing the hooligans running, he braked violently and threw the girl off her helmet.

"Get up quickly!"

The girl out of fear, wanting to leave the place, agreed and climbed into the back of Genesis, and hugged her back, grabbing her coat.

Genesis twisted his wrist and his Duel Runner dashed down the road. Leaving the place at full speed.

On the road, Genesis asked the girl behind him.

"What is your name ?"

"... akiza ..." she mumbled.

"How? I didn't hear."

Taking a breath, she repeated.

"My name is Akiza, Akiza Izinski."

Genesis didn't laugh, but his hold on his Duel Runner deepened. He never expected to meet Akiza in a place like this.

"Well Akiza, what were you doing in a place like this?"

Akiza was silent for a moment before answering.

"I ran away, my family didn't want me, and at school nobody loves me. So I ran away." tears of sadness began to flow from her eyes.

Genesis hurried to console Akiza, because although he knew his story on screen, but in reality it is a sad life to see his family abandon him, and to be ostracized at school, to then join a sect.

"It's okay Akiza, don't cry anymore. If you want you can stay with me for a while to calm down, are you okay?"

Hesitating for a while, Akiza nodded, still with tears in her eyes. Akiza currently wanted someone to trust, she didn't want to be alone anymore, and be called a witch.

On the way back to his hiding place, Genesis learned that Akiza was 14 years old, and that she would be 15 in a few months. Upon learning of Akiza's age, Genesis had two thoughts, the first is to be amazed by Akiza's developed body despite his young age, the second is that the FBI arrives at his home one night to arrest him.

Genesis thought only one thing: "I really need to find a girlfriend." Don't forget that Genesis is 17, he's a young man going through puberty.

The journey home was then passed in silence, one because of the embarrassment of having ideas about a minor, and the other had fallen asleep from fatigue and the sense of security she had find.
