Will You Hug Me Tonight

"Mr. Right…" Yu Bin mumbled, shocking the hell out of Xian Chen…..

"What?"

"You… You are Mr Right…ah, it looks like you didn't like me to call you Mr Right" Yu Bin said smiling looking at Xian Chen who was still in shock somehow.

"Mr. Right?... Why was I calling you like that?" she added, smiling coming closer.

"Ah, what exactly do you remember about Ai Ren?" Xian Chen answered slowly. The time she was calling him Mr Right was the time when they were fighting , so what if she will hate him now? This thought made him somehow sad and scared at the same time .

"You and I had a walk into the sky with Longwei…" She answered looking into his eyes.

But then,that wasn't all she remembered now. A new memory flashed through her . Xian Chen was crying in the memory she just had.

Xian Chen seemed to be crying in all her new memories that are coming like waves making her stumble under their weight. When they were on the dragon, in the street, while he was carrying her on his back, in a bar, under a tree, in a cave. In all these memories, Xian Chen was crying.

"Ah, that.. I …"

"I am sorry …" Yu Bin interrupted Xian Chen who was ready to apologise for being like that in the past. Her smile already disappeared from her face, giving way to sadness and tears.

This man … was in pain for a long time because of me. She thought letting her tears fall once with her pain.

"What?" Xian Chen asked surprised "Why are you sorry? Why are you crying ? What is going on ? Yu Bin, what are you even remembering?" Xian Chen asked, grabbing her hand with one hand and touching her face tenderly with the other.

"It looks like I always put you in pain…. I am sorry " she answered looking down.

It was hard to look into his eyes right now. All she wanted was to cry, her heart was looking like it was in so much pain because of such a small amount of memories , how much more she hurt him and she doesn't remember? These thoughts didn't let her look up at the man in front of her.

"Ai Ren….Yu Bin… i am not in pain, i don't know what you remembered but i know that those memories are not complete, i am not in pain. Actually I am so happy, you are my happiness Ai Ren. You Never made me sad" Xian Chen said, raising her face up and wiping her tears.

"Lier…i did hurt You , i did…"

"Listen Ai Ren, whatever you remember , I want to tell you that I love you the most in the world, and I know you do it too. Yes we had hard times too but who didn't. Everyone has a hard time in life , everyone fights , everyone misunderstands , but we resolved our misunderstandings a long time ago. If you want to know our story then I will tell you everything, ok?" Xian Chen said, hugging her . The more she cried the more he hugged her.

"Yu Bin…. I don't know what you remember but … you didn't hurt me so much as you think. I am the one to blame… Yu Bin…. because of me… ah…" Xian Chen sighed hard and hugged tighter. In his opinion it was his fault for everything that happened till now.

"Listen Ai Ren… i will tell you a story, just stay here in my arms and listen to the end.

There are four realms : Earth, Water, Fire and Heaven. Letting the Earth outside there were three realms that are always fighting for supremacy. Still… they were not always like that. It was a time when everyone was friends. We were really close with each other, being equal. Still even equal , everyone needs to have a leader right? Through the majority of votes, Heaven Realm was chosen as the leader. Not everyone liked that though. Although there were votes from fire realm to support heaven realm as leader, the majority did not agree, so a war was started between fire realm and heaven realm. Heaven realm got help from Water realm and we almost won but then.... My parents told me to run and hide but I didn't want to, I wanted to stay near them so I was caught together with them.. If I had run away then my parents would have been able to fight freely, there would have been no need for them to stay around me to defend me, if I had run away then maybe none of what happened would have happened. But I didn't run away, and my parents were killed because of me. Then I was brought to the Water realm where I was raised by master Bao Fang. Master was the one who killed my parents at the order of the king of the Water realm. However, it was a good thing because the fire realm royals turned my parents into fierce corps, they no longer thought with their minds but were completely controlled by the fire realm royals. Master raised me and trained me in the Water realm until I would take over the Heaven realm throne. Then I met you, the pampered princess of the water kingdom… " Xian Chen recounted each incident separately, patting her back from time to time as her crying became strong.

"I'm sorry..." Yu Bin said, wiping her tears while still in his embrace.

"It's not your fault...Sometimes things happen that we can't control. I couldn't control my urge to stay with my parents, Ming Fang couldn't control her urge to see her parents again. You can't change fate. After all , there is no thing in the world that can blame something on you, " Xian Chen said, whipping her cheek with his finger.

"You should sleep…" Xian Chen said, looking at the bed and then to her and Yu Bin got up and went to bed. Pushing the blanket aside to make room, she put her head on the pillow and covered herself then closed her eyes.

At the same time, Xian Chen took a blanket from the nearby closet and lay down on the sofa looking at the ceiling. He could not sleep in any way, thoughts and memories did not give him peace. The fact that Yu Bin was only two metres in front of him made him lose his sleep completely. He wanted to be able to hug her, he wanted to be there and hold her in his arms all night. That way he could have fallen asleep peacefully after so many years. But the fear that when he wakes up it is possible that Yu Bin will not be there anymore gave him a state of anxiety.

"Xian Chen, are you sleeping?"

"No..." he answered without moving an inch.

"I can't sleep"

"Why?"

"I don't know..."

"How can I help you?"

"Xian Chen…"

"Yes?"

"Will you hug me tonight?" Yu Bin asked but there was no answer. After a while Xian Chen woke up from the sofa and went and sat down in bed next to her.

"Thank you..." Yu Bin said and turned around hugging him tightly and then fell asleep.

"Yu Bin…are you sleeping?" Xian Chen asked slowly but did not receive any response.

"Yu Bin... I love you. I love you more than the sun loves the moon, more than the flowers that love the sun's rays, more than the greenery loves the morning dew, I love you more than my life itself, therefore, Yu Bin ... please don't disappear anymore." Xian Chen said tenderly then after a while he fell asleep not knowing that Yu Bin heard everything he said.
