The Lonely Spirits That Broke Her Heart

"Yu Bin, what are you doing, wake up already," Xian Chen whimpered, staggering in pain when Yu Bin made a new string of water strangling his neck and another one for keeping Bao Fang in place. It looked like a cage made of water.

"Yu Bin wake up right now! " Bao Fang shouted at her but Yu Bin didn't seem to hear her.

"Yu …my beloved Yu Bin… wake up … whatever you sow right now… I am here for you. Wake up Yu Bin …don't go far away from me….Aren't you strong enough to win…. against some pain? ….If you are not then I am here …I will take your pain…Master it's here too... Come back to us…. Please…

Xian Chen said, breathing hard. He felt the air didn't reach his lungs and his neck was hurting, not letting him breathe.

Hearing the words "I'm here for you " and recognizing Xian Chen's voice Yu Bin wakes up just in time before Xian Chen loses consciousness. Yu Bin got startled, she couldn't believe that she almost killed Xian Chen.

"Brother Xian, what happened? I'm sorry, I'm sorry "

"It's ok, don't worry Yu Bin, I'm ok," Xian Chen said coughing. He was still catching his breath.

"I'm sorry I lost myself. By mistake, I cultivated dark energy. Yu Bin said, tears falling from her beautiful eyes.

"It's ok, I'm ok, everything will be alright, I'm here for you. I already told you that whatever will happen I'll be here to catch you ." Xian Chen encouraged her and hugged her while patting her hair.

"Yu Bin, you know that what you just experienced right now is called qi deviation, '' Bao Fang said, coming closer. When Yu Bin came back to her senses, the water cage dissolved too.

"What is qi deviation master? " Yu Bin asked wearily. She heard Bao Fang talking about this but she never knew what it was.

" qi deviation is a dangerous condition that arises from incorrect or dangerous cultivation practices. For example, someone who relies on storing resentful energy, like how you did. This is leading to disturbed temperament and death. The one who is cultivating resentful energy will finish being eaten by that evil energy. You were consumed by resentful energy right now. Your all aura was dark and you were emitting intense killing intent."

"I'm sorry master, I failed you "

"It's ok after all, you win against it right now, just make sure to never cultivate resentful energy. "

"I got it…Brother Xian, are you ok?

"I'm ok, " Xian Chen said tenderly patting her head

"Yu Bin, let's try again. Now do your best and let go of your emotional ties, distance yourself from worldly affairs. Don't think about the queen, the king, be free of everything. Think about everyone like the person you need to protect "

"Ok master, I promise that this time I'll do it right "

"I know, I trust you "

"Hm," Yu Bin said and left to enter meditation.

It was strange but every time Xian Chen was assisting her she felt more confident. It looked like he was her confidence. Because she knew that every time she would fall Xian Chen would be there to catch her.

Yu Bin breathed once and entered slowly into the water. She put her hands one below the other and formed a ball. She was not shining white anymore, but it was more like blue with dark red strings. Maybe because of what just happened. Maybe because she let dark energy enter her system it changed the way it was.

After making the blue ball with dark red she started concentrating on what she needed to do. She left all she knew besides, bad, evil, good, everything. Dark energy attacked her again and their memories entered her system. She saw how a kid was murdered by someone who looked like he was his father, and she saw a woman who was burned alive and then thrown into the water. He saw a person pushed into the water from a ship. Her heart was churning, her tears were falling, and she felt angered to no end but in the middle of this, she remembered what her master said. "Yu Bin, whatever you see don't forget that is the past and you can't do anything for them " so she cried more. The fact that they were already dead and still in pain was hurting her terribly. "I'm here for you " she reminds Xian Chen telling her. Her tears fell more. She had a master, she had Xian Chen, she had her family and friends but these poor souls don't have anything. They were lonely and frightened, they were not able to pass over because they were still in pain. She was crying because she felt like whatever she will do she is not able to help them.

"Are you crying?" she heard a voice and turning around she saw a little girl.

"Why are you crying?" a little boy asked her and the two kids touched her hands. Next moment Yu Bin's blood froze in her veins. These two kids were brothers and they were murdered by their mother. The way they were murdered was so cruel.

"Don't cry " the little girl said sorrowfully, hugging Yu Bin who had fallen from her legs.

"Are you crying for us?" The little boy asked, touching her shoulder.

"Thank you," they said, hugging her and transforming into two small balls of light.

They got out of the water and ascended to heaven's realm where they will prepare for their new beginning.

Spirit after spirit seeing Yu Bin crying, they understood that she was in pain for them. For the first time in their existence, someone was crying for them. Someone cared for them, so they left their painful past beside, and after thanking her they ascended to heaven.

Yu Bin's heart got restful too. Seeing them ascending relaxed her. She was capable of helping them and that made her so happy. She understood now. It was not about accepting dark energy into your body. It's about being able to forgive. It was impossible to not let dark energy enter your system but qqqqqq able to forgive it was not impossible.

It was hard but not impossible. Entering meditation again, every time dark energy touched her ball and she was face to face with the owner of the dark energy she would talk with them, hug them, and let them go.

Outside the lake on the beach, Xian Chen and Bao Fang were looking at an amazing spectacle. They could see a multitude of ball spirits getting out from the lake and ascending to heaven. They had never seen such a sight. It was unbelievable.

Not long after that, Yu Bin came out of the lake. surrounded by water. Her dress was bluish white and her eyes were intense blue. She was staying in the middle of the lake kept in the air by a string of water. She made a sign with her hands and lots of other spirits came out bowing to her and rising to heaven.

The lake was looking so nice before, who would think that it was keeping so many painful souls there?
