Fighting The Dragon

"Yingyue shift" Yu Bin shouted in pain unsheathing her sword.

Just then Yingyue shifted and grabbed the vine and she broke it into pieces, shocking both girls.

"Thank you!" Yu Bin said standing up, her burned leg was hurting and her back was scratched by the bushes.

"Are you ok? Can you walk? " Bao Fang asked, worried. They just left and Yu Bin already got hurt.

Following the tracks left by the other vine, the two girls and Yingyue reached a place with a big cave.

"What is this master?"

"This Is the place where the imperial family is caging the prisoners." Bao Fang answered while touching the metal bars that closed the cave.

"So Shun is here? "

"Hm, Xian Chem should be here too"

"Then what are we waiting for," Yu Bin said impatiently, grabbing the bars that in just a fraction of a second got hot and burned her hand.

"Ahhhh" Yu Bin shouted and jumped back.

"Are you ok? "

"Master, are you ok?" Both Bao Fang and Yingyue asked, looking at her hand. Blood started to fall from her hand and Bao Fang broke a piece from her dress and wrapped Yu Bin's hand.

"We should stop the blood, here are beasts that love blood, " Bao Fang whispered slowly for just Yu Bin to hear. "Please be more careful, we are not in water land, this is one of the most dangerous places."

"Mm, so how will we enter here? Should I use water to break the bars? "

"We can try," Bao Fang said, looking at her and then at the bars in front of her.

Without staying too much on thought Yu Bin summoned the water and made a chain, she grabbed the bars and pulled hard but the bars were not moving at all. In the meantime, the summoned water started to boil in contact with the burning steel, which means that soon the water will evaporate. Ignoring the hot water burning her hands, Yu Bin used more spiritual energy and gave a shock to the steel pipes and ripped them from the cave walls.

"Mission accomplished," Yu Bin said smiling, not showing that her hands were burned.

"Let's go, stay behind me, let's not get you more hurt than you already are."

"Ok, I'll be just behind you. Yingyue, I think you should shift, like this will be safer for you " Yu Bin said, turning around and looking at Yingyue who was staring at Yu Bin's hands.

"Master…" Yingyue said, looking into Yu Bin's eyes and pointing at her hands.

She wanted to ask if she could help or if it was hurting badly but Yu Bin made her sign to shut up and that she was ok then shifted her back into a sword. Putting her into her back Yu Bin followed Bao Fang closely.

After making a few steps some vines appeared and dragged them both into the middle of the cave. There was a big pool of blood and a dragon was sleeping on its side.

On the other side of the pool was Shun or what was left of him.

Seeing the image in front of her, Yu Bin felt like throwing up and tears started to fall from her eyes.

"This can't be possible, this can't…" Yu Bin said, stumbling. Her legs were trembling. This boy in front of her was very good just a moment ago. She couldn't save him. Everything she did was in vain, she couldn't do anything for this boy. Then a thought flashed her.

"Xian Chen, master Xian Chen is not here, if he is not here that means he is dead? " Yu Bin cried out in desperation

"Yu Bin, look at me, Xian Chen is not so weak, if he is not here then he is not

In the fire realm. There is just one place more and that's Earth. " Bao Fang said and the next moment a sound was heard behind them.

Looking behind them they got frightened.

The Dragon woke up.

"He, he, he wakes up master! Yu Bin shuttered, grabbing her master's arm.

" Yu Bin, walk back slowly, don't make sudden moves. Let's go behind that rock." Bao Fang whispered and they started to retreat slowly.

Just then Bao Fang passed on a bone that broke and caught the dragon's attention.

Seeing them, the dragon blew once strongly and waves of fire came out of his nostrils and burned everything. Having no other option, Bao Fang grabbed Yu Bin's hand and jumped into the pool of blood next to them. It was still

stinking so bad and they couldn't see anything. Blood entered their eyes and for a moment couldn't breathe but then Yu Bin made a wall between them and all the blood and they could breathe freely. Looking at her hands Yu Bin saw that all her wounds were healed. Seeing that Yu Bin was healed, Bao Fang looked at her own body and saw that she was healed too. The wounds she got when she was dragged here were completely healed.

" Yu Bin, we have only one chance to escape from here. We need to blind the dragon and then run before he closes the opening. One more thing, whatever will happen, don't look into his eyes. "

"Ok master, but we can't see anything from here, I think we should first go out from here."

"I'll go first, you follow me, and, Yu Bin, don't forget to never look into his eyes. If you look into his eyes then remember, nothing it's what it seems."

"No, wait…." Yu Bin shouted but Bao Fang already jumped out of the pool.

Going out Bao Fang was staying face to face with the dragon. Not expecting him to be exactly there, Bao Fang did what she told Yu Bin to not do. She was looking straight into the dragon's eyes. Images from her past appeared in front of her and she was back in her childhood. In front of her was a small girl crying in her bed.

"Ming Fang, come I'll play with you," Bao Fang said and rushed to take her in her arms when Yu Bin grabbed her hand.

"Master, wake up, master! " She kept pulling her master but couldn't move her too much. It was looking like Bao Fang didn't see her at all, she was caught in her trance.

On the other hand, the dragon approached them and with his tail he hit Yu Bin throwing her into the cave wall.

"Master, wake up! please, " Yu Bin cried out in pain trying to wake up her master.

The more she cried out, the more Bao Fang was approaching the dragon.

Standing up, Yu Bin summoned the water and attacked the dragon, diverting his attention from Bao Fang.

Unsheathing her sword Yu Bin smashed a few stones, throwing them in his direction and aiming his eyes.

Distracting his attention she summoned the water and enveloped Bao Fang, not letting her have any contact with the dragon. However she pushed through the water wall, she couldn't get out so there was no worry for Yu Bin anymore. Now she could only focus on the dragon in front of her.
