A Dark Thought

"Yes, I will go"
"no, you won't go"
"Stop you two, are you kids? Moon, the water realm is not a very welcoming place at the moment, plus we might be bumping into Ming Fang." Bao fang said irritated by the two.
"Master, I'm not a child, I already know enough about the realm of water, fire, and heaven. I know the gravity of the situation, that's why I want to go too."
"For nothing, you know for nothing, you've never experienced anything very serious"
"Are you sure? Longwei, I work in the police, more precisely in the murder department. Do you know how many corpses I have seen? Do you know how many crimes I have encountered? "If you understand, please stay home." Longwei deadpanned.
"I do understand, I really do, but I can't stay home. Longwei, Yu Bin was not only my boss, Yu Bin is a very important person to me. "You are a very important person to me too," Longwei mumbled, annoyed.

"Ok, ok, stop crying. Let's go together, but make sure you are right by my side and listen to everything I'm saying. Got it?" Longwei said, sighing deeply.
"Thank you, I promise I'll stay by your side"
"What are you doing? Why are you fighting? Moon, why are you crying?" Xian Chen asked, staying behind the three and startling everyone who instantly turned around and faced him.
" What are you doing here?"
"Master called me to come here, why? Should I leave?"
"I didn't say that…"
"Anyway, why were you crying?"

"We are going to the water realm tomorrow." Bao Fang said, interrupting the two.
"Why?"
"We have to search again, maybe we missed something then"
"She was killed on earth not in the realm of water"
" I Know...."
"And then..? Why the land of water?" Xian Chen asked curiously. It seemed that something was not connecting.
"As far as I know, five years ago you were still looking for her in the land of water?" he added, remembering the moment when everyone was looking for her at the base of the mountain, only Bao Fang and Longwei had gone to the water realm.
"Well... that day I was also there... at the base of the mountain I mean... I turned back for a moment, just enough to see a person dressed in white entering the space gate. That person was holding someone. I didn't get to see if it was Yu Bin or not. I didn't even see the face of the one who entered the space gate but he was wearing royal clothes. That's why I went to the water realm. Because the royals there wear clothes white and I thought maybe one of them found her but when I went there they said there was no one on earth since we sealed Ming Fang"
"Why didn't you tell me anything?"
"As I said, there was no one there. I didn't want to give you false hope"
"Then why do you want to go again tomorrow?"
"Because of you. I want to check again. I want to see if I missed something."
"I'm coming too." Xian Chen said briefly and the three stared at him.
"What ?" He added, seeing the three staring at him without blinking.
"Ah, you just said you're going too with a voice as if we said we're not taking you" Longwei said slowly and the other two nodded.
"Let's go, what are we waiting for?" Xian Chen tried to leave but was stopped by the three.
"Tomorrow, I said we will go tomorrow" Bao Fang said and Longwei added "Master, we can't just leave like that"
"Why not ?"
"Master, don't you think we should prepare? I mean, if we meet Ming Fang what do we do?"
"And then what do you want us to do?"
"Today we will go to the mountain to see if Yingyue has recovered. I hope with all my heart that she has recovered because we need her." Bao Fang said hopefully
"Then let's go..." Xian Chen said and the three got up and followed him.
After they arrived at a private place where there were no surveillance cameras or people, Bao Fang opened a space gate and the four passed through it and reached the mountain in front of the caves where they put Yingyue to recover.
Entering the cave, they were surprised to see that Yingyue was nowhere to be found.
"What happened? Don't tell me Ming Fang found her!" Xian Chen stressed out. Yu Bin was gone and now Yingyue has also disappeared.
"I don't think Ming Fang found her. If you remember, when I brought Yingyue here, I drew some marks around her. Those marks kept the resentful energy away from her. More specifically, if Ming Fang had come in here I would have been the first one to find out, believe me."
"Then where is she?"
"I don't know but we have to find her before Ming Fang. Now that she is out of my protection range she can be found very easily."
"Let's go look for her then, she shouldn't be very far, right?"
"I wonder..." Bao Fang said,suddenly confused by the situation. a dark thought took control of her and her eyes darkened automatically
"What happened master?" Xian Chen asked worriedly, seeing that Bao Fang's face changed drastically.
"I wonder… Last time, when your mother died, Yingyue automatically transferred to the cave where she was born. She couldn't get out until Yu Bin made a contract with her. If Yu Bin died, don't you think that Yingyue automatically transferred back to the cave?"
"It means that Yu Bin really died..." Xian Chen said and collapsed to the ground powerlessly.
It wasn't like he didn't know. He knew. He was a witness to her death, only that somehow he hoped to be alive. He hoped that Yu Bin would not have died when she fell but now his last hope has just been shattered. If Yingyue is no longer in the cave then Yu Bin is truly dead.
