8 Terra Bear

Li Jiye didn't manage to catch the Tauren leader's words after he left.

He galloped with the Shadow Wind Steps for nearly an hour before slowing down. If he hadn't been injured by the Tauren leader when breaking through the formation back there, he wouldn't have dared to stop now.

"I underestimated the Taurens' combat skills… Those Tier 2 warriors actually displayed 120% of their strength. I've really underestimated my enemies…"

Blood was still flowing incessantly from his waist and abdomen. The Tauren leader was probably above Tier 3, and he guessed that he was just a stone's throw away from being a Tier 4 warrior. "I heard that the territorial consciousness of high-level demonic beasts is extremely strong… Low-level demonic beasts usually don't frequent their territory… Don't tell me I'm standing on the territory of a high-level demonic beast, am I?"

He immediately became vigilant and had his eyes peeled. He covered his wound and poured a bottle of healing potion into his mouth and then sat with his back leaning on a rocky wall that protruded upward.

This demonic beast looked like a brown bear, but its body size seemed several times larger than an ordinary brown bear. Besides having blades where its two front paws should be, it also had two extra pieces of polished-rock arm scythes.

The Terra Bear wasn't necessarily an aggressive demonic beast, but its sense of territorial ownership was much stronger than any other Tier 3 demonic beast.

The Terra Bear was renowned for being a Tier 3 demonic beast with superb strength and destructive power. However, its reaction ability and speed were much weaker than its other abilities.

At the thought of this, a gradual smirk appeared on Li Jiye's face. He summoned Shadow Wind Steps again and snapped his fingers towards the sky in the next second. Two emerald green leaves filled with energy waves flew from his fingertips and shot out towards the two big eyes of the Terra Bear.

An occasional loud angry roar would sound in the valley. In the next 10 minutes, the roars grew in hostility, but then, all of a sudden, everything fell silent.
