KNOW YOU BETTER

I woke up as the rays of the radiant sun hit me in the eye, crawling past the curtains of my room. I sat up straight in my bed and rubbed my eyes, stretching out my arms, and then turned around to check the time, "HOW THE HELL!" I yelled out loud as I saw that it was noon. I was supposed to wake up at 5 and wake them at 6, I've messed up things on my first day, Great! I clapped my hands sarcastically for myself before I quickly got up from my bed, washed up, and wore a red t-shirt with black shorts along with a ponytail and ran downstairs, and while in a hurry I accidentally missed the last two steps of the staircase and fell all the way down.

All the members were already up and were doing their respective works. The noise caused due to my abrupt fall had caused everyone to move their attention to me. I got up instantly rubbing my back and walked towards them, bowing down to apologize.

"Looks like you forgot at what time you had to wake up huh?" I turned around to see an angry group of young people, with frowns on their faces.

"I'M SORRY!! I am not used to waking up that early so, I am sorry please don't let Bang PD know, I don't want to lose the job" I said almost on the verge of tears.

"It's not PD-NIM that you need to worry about" Taehyung scoffed as he walked past me and I furrowed my eyebrows at his comment. "What?" I whispered to myself.

Seeing me perplexed and on the floor, Hobi pulled me up, hugged me, "It's alright, just don't be late the next time"

I was so freaked about the fact that hobi, Jung hoseok hugged me!!!! I'll add this to my flex list, however putting aside how I felt I just nodded my head and asked what all I had to do today.

"Well, you should clean up the Maknae line's rooms and the kitchen as well since it's a mess, also clean the garden and wipe the entire ground and first floor. Don't bother trying to open doors that are locked," Namjoon commanded with one hand in his sweatpants and I listened to him obediently.

"We're all going for the dance practice in the basement. So, if you require any guidance just ask us" Jungkook said with a chirpy voice and they all then went to the basement. Before leaving Taehyung walked up to me and I glanced up at him.

"Are you alright?" What a switch, earlier he was being so pesky and now I could sense the genuine concern in his voice causing me to smile.

"I'm fine, thanks for asking" I was about to bow again but he interrupted my motion by holding me by my arms.

"Don't be so formal with me" he shook his head in denial at my formal gestures and flashed a smile, I nodded back in response.

"I'll be down, call me if you need something" he winked and my heart fluttered, he giggled and walked downstairs while I turned around hoping he didn't see me blush.

Putting my hopeless romantic fantasies aside I started with the kitchen work, and then went upstairs to clean the rooms of the maknae line.

I was shocked with condition of their rooms, when was it last cleaned, I wonder. All the clothes were either on the floor or the bed or the fan. I was still in awe about how in heaven did that particular piece of cloth even reach the fan, other than that all of the things were out of place. I sighed, placing my hands at my waist and walking in to commence the cleaning operation.

"Here goes nothing," I said to myself and started with the work assigned to me.

It took me about 2 hours to clean their room and as soon as I completed the cleaning and was about to rest a little, I heard the sound of someone calling for me.

"Hikari come down here quickly" Taehyung yelled from the basement and I went running downstairs, judging from his commanding voice, it did seem to urgent.

All of them were looking so damn good, they were all sweating due to the vigorous dance practices they were engaged in and their t-shirts were sticking to their bodies giving a good look of their abs, their shirts were see-through.

"Like what you see?" Yoongi smirked and scoffed while I instantly looked away, all flustered. I could only fix my eyes at my feet while the rest chuckled.

"Hikari," I looked up and my eyes followed the voice, leading to Taehyung. He was sitting on the floor beside Jungkook with one arm resting on his knee while the other beside him, "We're thirsty." he licked his lip seductively before smirking and suddenly the atmosphere in the room changed. Everyone's gaze shifted from being soft and humble, a second ago, to alluring and sensuous. The environment became too intimidating.

I fixed my gaze at Taehyung as he got up from the floor where he was resting and began walking towards me, with his hands stuffed in his grey sweatpants and I gulped as the distance between us seemed to diminish by every second passing. I looked up at him as he stopped inches before me, I could feel the warmth radiating off his body. He slowly lowered himself and brought his face closer to my ear, I shivered unconsciously as his fingers touched my right arm.

He brought his face so close to my ear that I could feel his lips touching my ear.

"Get us some juice, would you?" he spoke in a low raspy voice, I could feel him smirking against my ear and I bit my lip and nodded before rushing out the door swiftly.

(JUNGKOOK'S POV)

"ahhh...isn't she cute?" I spoke out my thoughts and sighed as I thought of her small fragile form

"I agree, plus she's hot, isn't she?" Jimim replied along with a question and all of the others hummed in agreement and I nodded my head too unconsciously. "Well, you can't ever think above your lustful thoughts, can you?" I scoff at him, and receive a smirk from him, typical Jimin.

"We have time to spare after this dance session right?" My eyes followed Taehyung as he walked across the room to grab a water bottle before walking back and sitting beside me. "Let's learn more about her. It's been a while since we had time for this." We all hummed in agreement, some like me nodded their heads to his words.

"Also, I can't deny that..." I turned my head around as Taehyung scoffed before looking up at everyone, "there's something different about her. I can feel it." He turned his head towards me smirking and I grinned as I looked into his eyes.

"Me too" I clicked my tongue and we chuckled before Taehyung suddenly turned around, his eyes piercing through the door.

I think she saw, I shook my head and sighed knowing what happens next.

(HIKARI's POV)

My heart was pounding against my chest as I reached for the juice bottles in the refrigerator. That was intense, he was close to me. I'm not used to skinship or intimacy at the least, but it did feel good, I smiled to myself as I replayed the scene in my head.

I snapped back myself as I realized that I had to get these, I assembled the juices in a tray before rushing downstairs.

I stopped before reaching for the knob. I stared as Taehyung walked across the room drinking water, that was hot. He then sat beside Jungkook, I noticed how he smirked and continued looking at him, smiling unconsciously before I noticed something weird. His eye color changed, I stumbled a step backward as a chill went down my spine, it was for a split second, his eyes were red and Jungkook grinned. I shook my head, maybe I've overworked and I'm tired and seeing things.

I looked back up at him and he was already looking at where I stood. It was petrifying, I couldn't move from where I stood. It was tense, but then he smiled and waved his hand, motioning me to come in and it seemed as though nothing was wrong. What was I worried about just now? My thoughts seemed blurry, for a moment there was a strange voice in my head but I shrugged it off and walked into the room.

"Sorry, I took a while," I spoke as I handed them their bottles. "Are you trying to seduce us?" I tilted my head questioningly as I lowered down and handed out the last bottle to Taehyung. His gaze shifted from my face and trailed down below before stopping at my chest. I followed his eyes and saw that much of my cleavage was visible due to me lowering down. I instantly straightened myself and faked a cough.

"Come sit here" He chuckled and patted his hand on his lap and my eyes widened, there was muffled chuckling in the room and I just stared open-mouthed at Taehyung who seemed to be enjoying.

"Just kidding" he tapped the floor beside him, motioning me to sit there instead. I simply smiled and followed.

"Why didn't you get yourself some too?" he pointed at the bottle in his hand and I just shrugged in response. There were only seven bottles, to be honest, but I didn't want him to know that.

"Here, drink some." he passed me his bottle, grinning like a four-year-old sharing his food with his best friend.

"It's alright, I'm not thirsty" I smiled brightly and shook my head while he laughed lowly.

"Don't worry, you will be soon enough."
